However, I think a 4-game leap for the Bills is a bit of a stretch, given that the team needs to gel and the brutal nature of the early schedule. Also, keep in mind the fact that we have struggled with divisional opponents; I think that will be the toughest thing for these Bills to overcome so soon. But then I looked at the Bungles. They have yo-yoed back and forth the last 4 seasons. 4 wins, 10 and in the playoffs, 4 wins, 9 and in the playoffs. Its possible. I think that based off of what we know now I have to handicap it like this. Pats* 12-4 Bills 9-7 Jets 8-8 Fins 6-10 The Bills D has to improve based on 1- The additions of Mario, Anderson, Gilmore, and the depth with the later round picks 2- The return of K.Williams and others from injury 3- The new scheme better fitting our talent 4- The (Hopefully) better coaching The Bills O gives me a lot of concerns. The O slowed down a lot towards the end. Hopefully the improved depth along the O-line and the return of Freddy and emergence of Spiller allow the offense to be much more consistent. Estro Posted May 4, 2012 Share Posted May 4, 2012 Factoring our off season additions and our relatively soft schedule I think anything under 8 wins would be very dissapointing for Bills fans. Conversely, considering the franchises ineptitude the last decade 10 plus wins would be a giant relief and really excite most Bills fans......especially if 10 wins resulted in a playoff berth. For the sake of answering the original posters question I think the Bills will fall between 8 and 10 wins this season. The Bills fan immediately wants to say 10 and a wildcard playoff berth....but my gut is telling me 8 or 9 wins and falling just short of the playoffs. I think our season will come down to our 2 games each with both the dolphins and jets. You'll take a split win the patriots all day....but getting swept by the phins and jets both last year was unacceptable. We need to turn that around this year and come away with a 3-3 record at worst within the division, probably even a 4-2 mark in order to be playoff bound.
