Gronkowski posed shirtless with porn star Bibi Jones and with her sporting his jersey. Apparently he's apologized, but he did it grinning from ear to ear. See the below:

I think espn and a lot of other news outlets deserve to be reprimanded for this story. If you look at the headlines/links for this story, it's been stated as "Gronkowski poses with adult film star" or "Gronkowski sorry for porn star pics"--clearly implying he was in some pornographic pictures.

Seriously?

The idiot said he did it because he wanted more followers on twitter...

"I went into the room to take a picture with him and he said, 'Put on my jersey,'" Jones said to the radio station. "I asked him, 'Can I put these on my Twitter?' He was cool with it because I have more Twitter followers than him and he wanted me to get him more Twitter followers."

What is it all this NFL twitter crap, and with these morons and their desperate need for more attention? Isn't playing a game for a living every week in front of millions of fans, a game they've love to play since they were kids - and being extremely well-compensated for it, more than enough for their giant egos?

Maybe all teams and players should heed the wise edict of...

Mick Leach

Leach said players don't need Twitter or Facebook, and called them 'stupid' distractions...

"I think that a guy who plays...football gets enough attention," he said. It's "a bunch of narcissists that want to sit and type stuff about themselves all the time. We'll put mirrors in some of their lockers if that's necessary but they don't have to Twitter."

I have absolutely no sympathy for Gronkowski, or any other of these vainglorious knuckleheads.

I really don't see what he has to apologize for? Alot of people want to get their pics taken with NFL players, and for that matter with celebrities, even if they are adult movie stars. They way the media is playing this you would expect to see naked pictures of them going at it in front of Robert Kraft's house. This over sensitive nation is going overboard, and this is a perfect example. I had a pic taken years ago with a porn star, doesn't mean I was on main street on top of a school bus going to town, it was just a pic of fully clothes people just like his pics. You have NFL players out beating their wives, drunk in public, shooting themselves in public places, so they need to not spend so much time worrying about things like getting a "fan" picture taken. As far as her posting it to Facebook, I have pics on my Facebook with Andre Reed, Bruce Smith, Marshall Faulk, Thurman Thomas, Derrick Thomas, Junior Seau, etc. Quite normal if you ask me. Besides, growing up in Western New York like Gronkowski did, it isn't often you get to see a real pornstar. Besides I would rather have a pic taken with this girl then the president, but they are both getting big bucks to screw things up every day.

It seems kind of dirty that some agent is using her to land clients. Then again, apparently it's working, which says a lot about many of the players out there. I don't care one way or the other, but are these guys really dumb enough to base their decision on that?

I still haven't figured out what he did wrong.

Neither have I, really, other than being stupid enough to be used for someone else' purposes.

But apparently Kraft* & Co. and weren't too pleased - likely they* think it reflects badly on the Cheatriettes* organization* (more than cheating does, I guess).

Hence *Gronk's apology, as ordered.

Gronkowski shouldn't have to apologize for anything. I don't care if he was %#+*ing her or not. It's his business and nobody elses. But this Twitter $%it has to stop. What the hell is happening to younger kids and even older people now? Do we really want to know what Donte Freaking Whitner had for breakfast? Or give a crap about a friend getting his brakes done? Twitter is a joke and nothing but a problem. People are more obsessed with how many followers they have than thier bank account numbers. I wish people would just quit this dumb fad......and post more on Facebook.

BiBi Jones has been on Stern a few times. She does not discriminate, she will bang any random guy she happens to come across.

This. She was just recently on Stern, and it's true, she will absolutely bang ANYONE. If you don't believe Gronk got him some, you're kidding yourself.

That said -- as long as he's not married, who the hell cares?

Even if he was married, so what?

That would be between him, his "wife", and the divorce lawyers.

Beyond that, I could give a rats azz.

Facebook isn't much better.

A couple of weeks ago, I overheard a conversation where one idiot was bragging about how many "friends" on Facebook he had as opposed to the other guy.

He also just started a Google+ account was excited about how "friends" he could get there.

Speaking of egomaniacs ...
