Banks and corporations complicit in attacking Bay Area Communities, homes, education environment, livelihood and democracy?? If it weren't for these evil corporations I'd like to see what some of these Bay Area communities would actuall look like.

Liberals trying to shut down San Francisco.

I'm no fan of reality TV, but I'd pay to watch that unfold.

They want to shut down the financial district before the markets open up. I can hear it now:

"It's 9:15.....Let's roll!!"

"Ahhh dude, the markets open at 6:30am PST"

"Whoa.....that's too early."

Well, they'll get their yearly bath at least. We've only had 3 days or so with rain since the "rainy season " started in October. Supposed to rain tonight through at least Monday.

Remember how Bush's weather machine caused Katrina because he hated blacks? It was only a matter of time before he turned it on the smelly hippies in San Francisco. Not sure what took him so long to break it out.

My wife got another memo outlining the events scheduled for today in the SF Financial District. Here are some of the highlights.

They're marching on BofA beacaus:

Banks, and financial capital in general, spread their tentacles throughout all

oppressive mechanisms of the US government. Whether its investing in the

military industrial complex, to shackling countries in Africa and Latin America

with high interest loans, to financing private prisons for the poor here in the

US, to putting students in debt for life for an education that can't guarantee

them a job, to filling the pockets of corrupt politicians, or foreclosing on

families for profit, the banks have robbed billions of people of a future

Oooooh scary stuff:

A moving & creative action at Wells Fargo. We will have street theatre and

high energy chanting

Sounds like the acid shipment finally arrived:

Back in 2009 Matt Taibbi referred to Goldman Sachs as "a great vampire

squid wrapped around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood

funnel into anything that smells like money." In honor of SG's continued

blood-sucking, we will fry up some squid in front of GS's headquarters,

preventing customers from entering. So bring a small frying pan and we'll

provide the squid.

They wrecked our lives!!

Foreclosure fighters, Bernal neighbors, and supporters will be rallying locally

to demand that banks stop foreclosing on our homes and evicting renters as

well as homeowners in our neighborhood, while accepting billions of dollars

in bailouts to crash our economy. We'll also be joining thousands of others in

downtown San Francisco who will be occupying the financial district all day to

protest the financial institutions whose policies continue to wreck our lives.

Yeah that's it, we'll force them to buy loans and then foreclose on them so we will no longer have any payments on those loans. [Evil laugh]

We'll protest the role Fannie Mae played in luring homeowners into predatory

loans and then foreclosing on them, as well as the thousands of empty

homes Fannie Mae is sitting onhomes which could be turned into

affordable rentals

Sorry Mother Nature had to rain in their parade.

Maybe The Benbernank :worthy: will offer to purchase their debt so they can continue spending money on such necesseties as:

There was a receipt for $1,101.07 to purchase herbs for homeopathic medicine as well as a few hundred dollars used to purchase rolling paper and tobacco for the "Nic at Night" cigarette station at the park.

Yeah "cigarette station"

Not sure if anyone told them, but cleaning squid before frying it is not as easy as it seems.

Assuming the squid IS cleaned, cut and properly breaded before it's fried, my next question would be "Who's bringing the marinara sauce?"

Marinara sauce. This is San Francisco. They're providing roast garlic and five spice aoli with organic lemon peel confit.
