Can you tell us why journalism-ing about ***** animals and doctor’s concerns about the frequency of rubbing one out are a worthy use of tax dollars? To use one of your go-to’s, please be specific.

They’re human interest stories for a niche audience that exists but ignored by for-profit media. Simple as.

So you believe providing human interest stories for a niche audience is something that is a government responsibility? Good heavens, kid. Embarrassing. You and anyone else that believes this ARE the problem. Simple as.

Will any other board lefty please step up in support of this? Redhawk?

PBS forgot to say the 2020 election was stolen

If they did it would be one of the few times they were right.

As a republican, I admittedly like and listen to both NPR and PBS. I also do firmly believe they present a liberal lean in most everything they do. But that's not the point.  I don't understand how anyone believes any media entity should be publicly funded, especially today in our increasingly political environment.

No nedboi. 2020 was the most secure election in US history. That was the claim. Over and over and over again from every corner of the reliable media. To disagree in any way made you an election denier.

I know it's impossible for you being a useful idiot, but be consistent.

Trump going after NPR is classic authoritarian theater. He can’t stand fact-based journalism that isn’t fawning or fake. He needs echo chambers, not outlets with integrity. At this point, he’ll attack anything to distract his simps from the catastrophic failure of his first 100 days.

Here Are 12 Reasons Why NPR And PBS Deserved To Be Defunded

by Bryanna Lyman

On Thursday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order defunding NPR and PBS — two taxpayer-subsidized “news” organizations that have consistently published propaganda. The order proclaims that “Government funding of news media in this environment is not only outdated and unnecessary but corrosive to the appearance of journalistic independence.

At the very least, Americans have the right to expect that if their tax dollars fund public broadcasting at all, they fund only fair, accurate, unbiased, and nonpartisan news

“No media outlet has a constitutional right to taxpayer subsidies, and the Government is entitled to determine which categories of activities to subsidize.”

Here are 12 reasons why NPR and PBS News deserved to be stripped of taxpayer funds.

Nancy Pelosi and Democrats think voters are stupid, and she said so on PBS of all networks. It's as if she's trying to remind us all why defunding them is a good thing.

No, really.

We're not making this up, you can see for yourselves:

In other words, Nancy and Democrats like her don't think Americans know how to vote. We've lost count of the times we've seen Democrats lecturing women and minorities about being too stupid not to vote against their own best interests.

Seems it's basically a party narrative.

All I’ve gleaned from this is that there are still people who think the 2020 election was stolen.

😂😂😂😂😂

”Orange daddy didn’t win, and he told me it wasn’t fair so I believe him!”

JFC, I thought we were done with this one at least. Orange Daddy really did a number on the gray matter for so many.

Self awareness isn’t your thing, is it? Do you prefer the government continue to fund PBS/NPR? Reasoning?

The most secure election in US history!

Declared within days of the election.

😂

What's a bigger stretch than believing there were shenanigans in an election where 46% of ballots were mailed in?

Believing that the 2020 was the most secure in history, as if there is any way to perform the type of forensic audit necessary to credibly make such a statement within a few weeks.

2016:

Election day voting in person: 60%

Early voting: 19%

Absentee/mail: 21%

2020:

Election day voting in person: 28%

Early voting in person: 26%

Absentee/mail: 46%

So 2020 was indeed historic in one way, it was the first election in US history to have mail in voting exceed election day voting.

You need to be a moron of Bullstojan proportions to accept 2020 as the most secure election in US history when both parties and the reliable media had been warning for decades that the biggest risk to election integrity is mail in voting.
