Raise The Debt Limit Already!

Recommended Posts

They are idiots! ANd they are gonna look like a bunch of asses the day the stock market drops like 500 points or more. Nothing like a stock market 500 point loss day to have these idiots come to their senses.

Funny, they quote Moody's to support their stance about how they may drop the U.S's credit ratings because of our enormous debt, but when MOody's comes out and says they may (and will) drop our credit ratings because of not reaching a deal on the raising the debt limit, they dismiss it. :wallbash:

Idiots?? Idiots??? I thought you said Paul Ryan was genious??

So much for that!

It's almost like it's 1861. The National White People's party will never compromise with an illegitamte, un-American "President." They don't care about anything else aside from the fact Obama is head of the party that is not "pure."

Sorry Troll, I'm not interested in the schtick.

Which one isn't?

As far as the immigration part, I don't know what part of "undocumented" you guys don't get. And the fear mongering bull **** sounds good when you're a lilly whiteboy from NY who never has to deal with it, but it's a little more than that to the people whose daughters are sold into the sex trade, and if you tell me that doesn't happen all you're really telling me is that you like to opine in politically correct fashion about things you know very little about.

Are you saying that because the US has an open doors border policy to Mexico is the reason that LatAm gangs force women into sex slavery?

I'm saying a lot of it is connected. Are you arguing that the relative ease with which drug cartels operate across the border has little to no impact on violent crimes including those previously mentioned?

Ya, the mostly Southern party threatening to destroy the nation because they hate the President. Even "Very Serious" people like the genius Paul Ryan are threatening to blow everything up. Where was this concern over deficits with Bush?

hmmm..let me think. Obamacare, EPA running rampant, 5 trillion more debt in 2 1/2 years. A bunch of Cal-Berkley, leftist Harvard grads running things. Suing your own states that are trying to protect the border since the feds don't want to. Only some of the things that make people just a little nervous.

Are you a self hating Southerner?

I was born and raised a Western Pennsylvania Yankee and have developed much more respect for Southerners since moving here

I am so tired of the two (one) parties passing the blame back and forth. They both caused this problem. President Bush shares the blame with President Obama and Congress.

And now the two sides are saying entitlements and tax increases are off the table? If that is the case, removing them from office and replacing them should be on the table. We need both to take care of the debt and we need population control laws to slowly fix the unemployment problem, because if anyone thinks that the private sector has a reason to accommodate the exploding number of people into the work force, they are nuts. And the public sector can't subsidize everyone either.

Of course they're connected, with US government policies giving major aid to the cartels (like Prohibition was wonderful for the Mafia's rise). Point is that of the evils you describe, immigration is far down the list. If anything, having an incomprehensible immigration policy wrt the southern border gives the cartels a nice monopoly on moving people and enables human trafficking.

I agree Adam with the blame game part of your post. Politicians now are in it for a career. Not to help the country. More power and the longer you hold on to it, the more successful your career. In the private sector this is fine. Working as a political leader its a conflict of interest. While I think both sides are guilty the democrats have added a marxist ideology to the mix. This puts them at a much more dangerous, destructive level. It so happens now the point man in all this is Obama. Now if you believe in the socialist mentality, these guys are just fine. If you don't, they are really enemies of the country or at least the American ideal. There can be no real dealing with these guys. No compromising. It's hardball until they are gone. My real worry is that after they are gone, how do you rid the cancer that still exists?

How about Obama won't deal with Cantor because he's a Jew?

A quick search of this behemoth turned up these vids. I particularly like the Vietnam one

Trumped by the stupid card...

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) on Friday strongly suggested that members of Congress are making it difficult for President Obama to raise the debt ceiling because of his race.

CONGRESS raises the debt ceiling, not the President. Lack of any constitutional authority is what makes it difficult for Obama to raise the debt ceiling.

Doesn't anyone in Congress know how our government is supposed to work? :wallbash:
