  1. Putting Tibs on ignore was my way of helping make PPP reasonable. You can't reason with him, I figure he's paid to be on here spouting his nonsensical blather.
  2. I am not certain they are all uninformed (some are), but others are willfully ignorant, still others see themselves as gatekeepers of information, and yet others are merely talking heads reading, and only "knowing" what the TelePrompter tells them to say (and think). Sometimes I worry that what has happened is too much for the average person to grasp, especially with a complicit media keeping the main details away from the average citizen who does not actively seek out the source documents.
  3. Nikki Haley claims top aides tried to recruit her to ‘save the country’ by undermining Trump Two of President Trump’s senior advisers undermined and ignored him in what they claimed was an effort to “save the country,” former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley claims in a new memoir. Former secretary of state Rex Tillerson and former White House chief of staff John F. Kelly sought to recruit her to work around and subvert Trump, but she refused, Haley writes in a new book, “With All Due Respect,” which also describes Tillerson as “exhausting” and imperious and Kelly as suspicious of her access to Trump. “Kelly and Tillerson confided in me that when they resisted the president, they weren’t being insubordinate, they were trying to save the country,” Haley wrote. </snip>
  4. It is more like bringing in the Christine Blasey Ford types who clearly have a political agenda, are lying through their teeth, and yet we are supposed to take these "accusers" seriously. The harm that has been done to real sexual abuse victims, the lack of reporting of a crime by real rape victims who want to avoid a TV circus or being thought of as liars, the trivialization of "he touched me!" now being equated to rape? It is disgusting. And, at the same time, a story about Epstein is killed by a major network, another network allows "top talent" to have a door lock (rape button), Hollywood is a-ok with pedophiles, quid-pro-quo sexual favors for a bit part, and none of this is reported for years and years (as the press knew about it) while more real victims accumulate. When more of these nebulous suppressed memories come forward at a politically opportune moment and network TV breathlessly reports them as the gospel truth, the average person tunes them out. Which mean that your "boy who cried wolf" analogy will come into play at some point, because one day it will be real, and ignored. And that is the real tragedy.
  5. Ah, they have been (FT) implicated in billions of dollars of money laundering (there is an enormous world-wide money laundering scandal going on right now that the American press is completely ignoring). The details are in PPP somewhere, or try duckduckgo for some European news stories.
  6. I notice people either show up in droves hoping to push a narrative, disappear because the chosen narrative is being destroyed, or just come down to troll. It doesn't help that so many seem to enjoy trolling the trolls right back. ?‍♀️ Ignore is your friend.
  7. I looked back a week and didn't see this posted (it was a week ago on twitter). It is a real *POW* {BAM!!} *SMACK* of truth... hence, it will be ignored by all the climate change SJWs under 25:
  8. We didn't ignore the Ukraine here in PPP!! And heh... the Ds are in for a world of hurt.
  9. Just go through the thread and put them on ignore. 🙂 I hope they are non-symptomatic and fully recover.
  10. It is difficult to know how honest I should be... will I receive warning points? Will I be banned? I sincerely hope not, but here goes... What has happened is the personal foul flag was tossed at the one who retaliated. TFR is on my ignore list for a number of reasons, but mostly because he overbearing, rude, obnoxious, condescending, displays passive-aggressive hostility, and is antagonistic. I may have missed a few, but you get the idea. Over the past year I have watched DR take it on the chin down here. He continually engaged people I would not have given the time of day to simply because he feels everyone can be reasoned with. The constant poking, picking, needling, and trolling he received down here went above and beyond what someone should ever endure on a message board. And yet, he was kind enough to endure it in order to share with us his sources and perspective. And, he has sources that the rest of us can only dream of. Is PPP moderated, or not? If it is moderated, what besides crusading and call-out-threads, is prohibited? What will earn you a warning? What will earn you a banning? Clarity and even handedness is truly what people seek. People cannot obey rules they do not know exist. If we are told this is a "fire free zone" and then suddenly it is not, how are people to react? TBD is your website. You make the rules. People really want to know what those rules are.
  11. There is an ignore feature. He's a good one to use it on.
  12. Those comments on the Jonathan Swan tweet are something else. It is like we are living two different realities. They have completely ignored all the lawsuits against mail in voting by the Republicans, and the Democratic state supreme court decisions that make mail in voting a-ok, to come up with, "Trump wants to steal the election!"
  13. To release something "embarrassing." As you said, they go over his taxes with a fine tooth comb. Anything not kosher is kicked back and fined. However, with real estate, the depreciation can make for many years of zero tax paid on a personal return ... totally ignoring that the IRS ALWAYS gets there money. It may be delayed until sale, delayed a bit more in a 1031 exchange, but the IRS will always get their cash.
  14. Since I have Gary on ignore, I will quote you for context... Goodness knows these totally spontaneous impeachment rallies that were planned weeks ago, all saying the same thing, all in #resist cities, prove that the American public wants President Trump impeached! I wonder how much these sheeple "protests" cost 'em?
  15. I'm not certain what you are trying to prove or gain here. Either hop in with real discussion, or you will end up ignored (as in the 'blocked' sense of the word).
  16. I see the Democratic monologues and questions are gonna completely ignore Jim Jordan's video of the rioters montage. Good plan.
  17. The "very well spoken" remark in your post harkens back to Joe Biden and his soft-bigotry of former President Obama. Look up the youtube clips if you are unfamiliar with what he said, they are out there. Maybe the questions should have been... why are you supporting her? What qualifications does she have? Her Chicago hospital job was given to her when her husband became a Senator, and not filled since he left office. Why did she give up her law degree 9 years before having children? Many, many people dislike Michelle Obama and do not find her to be the least bit qualified for public office. They pick on her looks (a person's least important attribute), her job history, giving up her law licenses for undisclosed reasons (it is on the Illinois Bar association website, you can find it there), lack of political office experience (not necessarily a bad thing), and the fatigue of the US Press fangirling her while ignoring the ex-model who is our current first lady. However, this is the Trump Economy thread. You and I may want to take this discussion to the Democratic 2020 Primary thread where the possibility of her running would be on-topic.
  18. Put 'em on ignore. You may still see a post when he/she/x is quoted, but the board is much more readable when you have the few goofballs who clog it up with nonsense on ignore.
  19. Where in the world does Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez live? </snip> She has no district office and no local phone number, unlike the state’s three other freshman members. And it’s unclear whether the 29-year-old lawmaker, who represents the Bronx and Queens, actually still lives in the Parkchester neighborhood that has been so closely tied to her rise — even though she won her upset victory over fellow Democrat Rep. Joe Crowley with accusations that his home in Virginia made him too Washington-focused to serve his district. </snip> The Post e-mailed the Ocasio-Cortez’ spokesman, Corbin Trent, four times with specific questions — they were all ignored. On Saturday, The Post reached Corbin by phone. “We will not be commenting,” he said. Among the queries he refused to answer: Where does the congresswoman live? </snip> “Come downstairs, I have to take a picture quick,” the congresswoman then told the reporter after the event, instructing him to wait for her. Twenty minutes later, she ducked out a back door, jumped into a chauffeured SUV, and zoomed off. </snip> And in 2017, when Ocasio-Cortez first filed paperwork to become a congressional candidate, she didn’t even know what district she lived in, mistakenly declaring plans to run for neighboring District 15 before correcting the error days later. </snip>
  20. It is funny, my husband said to me just the other day that he thinks Trump needs to start doing his own version of fireside chats to get past the MSM's wall of false reporting, lies, and innuendos. The MSM could not ignore it (when the President speaks, people listen), and he could take so many issues directly to the American people. Twitter helps, but not everyone is on Twitter. To be fair, not everyone watches TV either... maybe a combo of a Facebook live/Live Stream/TV appearance, etc that is 15 minutes long, no questions, once a month? (Hey, if I had the answers I'd be a manager.)
  21. I do! I think @Deranged Rhino is extremely informative. And you are a much better man than you portray yourself to be on the open forum, @BeginnersMind Please play nice ... I know you dislike the name calling and rudeness in PPP. You can ignore the people that are too much for you to take (I sure do!).
  22. What does that mean? ? But seriously, this is truly sad how the intelligence community can go about sculpting a narrative (or crime!), feed it to the MSM (who goes wild with it), or, conversely, how high crimes can be ignored based on "who" is in office at the time. And the "elites" wonder why the natives are getting restless. Shesh.
