anybody not on board drafting QB at 10 is a *****

I see both positive's and negative's in McDermott's defense. Sounds like McDermott places emphasis on having good LB's. It's been over a decade since the Bills had a great LB corps. When playing against New England, we need a good front seven to generate pressure as well as having players who can jam their WR's and TE's as New England plays the dink-and-dunk game. The Bills need to throw off the timing of the Patriots passing game and make Brady hold onto the ball longer in order to give time to get to Brady. What I am concerned about is playing a zone defense against Brady. Brady carves up zone defenses as he is great at going through his progressions and finding the open man.

I don't buy the Bills aren't possibly moving
Jerry Jabber replied to KellyToughII's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still can't believe that there are people who think there is still a possibility of the Bills moving out of the area. This was all cleared up when The Pegula's bought the team. People either have bad short-term memory or some serious anxiety issues. -

The Pegula's have been buying up property around the stadium, so my bet is that the new stadium will be built in Orchard Park. -

If the Pegula's tried moving the Bills to Toronto, they would have to sell the Sabres as they are not allowed to own sports franchises in different areas. Between purchasing the Sabres for $190M and investing another $200M in the Harbor Center, do you really think the Pegula's are going to sell the Sabres just to move the Bills to Toronto? -
Happy Birthday Terry!

Thanks again Mr. Wilson for everything!

Changes coming to Bills front office?
Jerry Jabber replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMO, you've been the most reliable reporter around, especially when it came to the sale of the Bills. You don't rant, rave and complain like others covering the Bills [sullivan, Gleason]. You have nothing to apologize about. Thanks for everything you do covering the Bills. -

"Whatcha gonna do brutha..." We're going through growing pains with the Pegula's as they're still trying to figure out how to be successful sports owners. They got duped by Wrecks, so now they're infatuated with McDermott. -
Whaley has done one heck of a job, except QB
Jerry Jabber replied to BuffaloBud420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So far, Whaley has put together a sub-par team. To say he's done a "heck of a job" is ludicrous. -

Besides the fire, the flight on the Hindenburg was quite nice. Rear-end problems aside, the 1970's Pinto was relatively a safe car to drive. Timothy Dalton was the best James Bond. Gary Cherone was the best frontman of Van Halen. -
Lol! Overall, there were good players in the 2010, too bad Boss Hogg [buddy Nix] didn't draft any of them. 2010 and 2013 were bad drafts for Boss Hogg and the Bills.

2010 was pretty bad as well.

Hope for the best, expect the worst until proven otherwise.

The first Super Bowl, Marv didn't have a curfew on the team and the team partied all week long and didn't take the Giants seriously after they destroyed the Raiders in the AFC Championship game and the Giants were playing with a backup QB. Also, neither the Bills coaches or players were smart enough to change their game plan when Belichek was dropping extra defenders in coverage and essentially giving the Bills the run. The second Super Bowl, you can thank Coach Dickerson for running his mouth and insulting the Hogs, plus the d-bag from Harry Connick Jr's band for moving Thurman's helmet (Thurman would have scored a long TD on the 2nd play of the game). The third Super Bowl, the Bills were outmatched, plus it didn't help that Levy only gave Reich very limited snaps as Kelly got reinjured and Reich came in and was not prepared. The fourth Super Bowl, Bills had the lead at halftime, but it could have been more if Kelly wouldn't have tried a terrible shovel pass (which Jimmy Johnson saw during Super Bowl week), plus once Thurman fumbled and Dallas recovered it and ran it back for a TD, the Bills lost their momentum and couldn't recover.

I'm not sure what's in Laurel, MD. I know Jimmy's is a hike (I'm coming from the Stafford area). The food is really good there: Beef on Weck, Sahlen's hot dogs, kielbasa and pierogies, Canadian beer. Plus, for Bills games, the bar is decorated in Bills gear, plays the Bills shout song whenever the Bills score. It's a great atmosphere for Bills fans (especially when they're winning). For anyone that goes, I'd recommend getting there before 11:30 on game days.

Jimmy Old Towne Tavern in Herndon, VA is the best place to watch a Bills game in the Northern VA/DC area.

I liked how Rex and Rob embraced the city, just wished they were better at their jobs as coaches. I wish them luck in the future.

Has any team contacted EJ Manuel about a tryout?
Jerry Jabber replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jay Skurski @JaySkurski And so the EJ Manuel era in Buffalo has come to an official end. #Bills Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Former Bills' first-round pick E.J. Manuel likely is signing with the Oakland Raiders, per league sources. -
Bills have drafted 5 QBs since Kelly retired...
Jerry Jabber replied to Beef Jerky's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It also doesn't help that the Bills haven't had a good pass-protecting O-line during this period as well. The Raiders sucked since their last Super Bowl appearance until they finally figured out they needed a great O-line to go along with a good QB.
