  1. Unfortunately, this has been the case for many years with the Bills. Most of the years during the playoff drought, the Bills have had only one good WR while the rest were scrubs. Many Bills fans on here knew that the Bills needed another WR, but instead of drafting one in the early rounds, the Bills drafted defense for the first three rounds.
  2. The sad part is, there won't be a HOF QB on the Bills either for him to coach.
  3. What better way to find out from the people that watch him on a weekly basis.
  4. After 17 years of missing the playoffs, there's no Koolaid left to drink. I see nothing wrong in finding out any coaches past performance, good or bad. I'd like to know what kind of coach we're getting. It's one thing I've learned with the Bills, hope for the best, expect the worst.
  5. Hopefully that's just the case.
  6. I just did a search on Rick Dennison on Twitter and the tweets from Broncos fans last fall weren't good. Hopefully that won't be the case in Buffalo, but it doesn't exactly inspire much confidence in his abilities as an OC.
  7. Just read a couple of tweets from the Denver media, they think the Bills made a mistake as Broncos fans are happy to see him go.
  8. I'm grateful the Pegula's bought both the Sabres and Bills. Unfortunately, they are new to owning sports teams and are learning as they go. When they took over both teams, they tried to run it like their gas business and gave everyone a chance, Instead, they should have cleaned house with both teams. I feel the Pegula's want to win championships in both sports, but don't know how to do it yet. I also feel that the Pegula's are listening to the wrong person [brandon]. While Brandon is great at marketing and the business side of football, he's been terrible when it comes to football operations. Brandon told Terry to go into the coaching interviews with no set expectations and just like dating, you'll know the right one. That right there was a horrible way to do a coaching search. Just like with any business, you have to have a vision/goal/plan on what your business should be about. The coaching search should have been based on what the football teams vision/goals/plans are, not who interviewed the best or who is the most likable.
  9. It seems that there has been no real vision for this team as they've been doing things on the fly. It seems like they've interviewed coaches without knowing exactly what they're looking for and hire the guy who interviews the best.
  10. Schopp, Sullivan and Gleason are three terrible media hacks in Buffalo. Schopp makes no sense at all and Sullivan and Gleason are nothing more than two whiny internet bloggers.
  11. Maybe there's been discussions between the Bills and Saints and it's possible the Saints will not even give the topic of trading Brees any consideration which is why Whaley is now saying they're looking to build for the long-term.
  12. Finally, a sense of direction from this team instead of doing things on the fly.
  13. That name cracks me up every time! How about Joe Bob Briggs.
  14. Rex and Rob both seem like two very likable guys. They both did their best to fit in with the community. It's a shame that things didn't workout for them in Buffalo.
  15. That would be typical of the Bills during this drought. They've gone back and forth from one side of the ball being good, while the rest sucked. The offense was good during Bledsoe's first year with the Bills, but the defense sucked. The next two years, the defense was great, but then the offense sucked. Special Teams was great when Bobby April was here, but the offense and defense sucked. When Pettine was here, the defense improved to 10th, then got better under Schwartz, but the offense sucked. The next two years, the offense improved, but the defense sucked. Now, if the Bills hire Olson to go along with Frazier, the defense will improve, while the offense will regress again. Hopefully the Bills are smart enough not to hire Olson, otherwise we'll see the playoff drought extend to 20 years.
  16. Glad someone asked him. The question took him by surprise at first.
  17. In 2013 when the Bills finished 6-10 and fired Chan Gailey, Russ Brandon said "the Bills brand has been tarnished." Fast forward to 2017, the Bills finished 7-9 and "are close." Close to what, being a perennial loser, oh wait, they have been for 17 years. RIP Dusty! Talk about your Psalms, talk about John 3:16...Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your ass!
  18. "And whatcha gonna do brutha?!" +1 Hey, the guy was a wrestler and from PA...sold! How about having a vision of what the team should be, such as getting an elite QB to compete against Brady and base your coaching search off that vision/goal.
