Is this the end for Lehner since Timmy won't be there? -
http://buffalonews.com/2017/04/20/kouandjio-involved-bizarre-incident-police/ "According to a police source, Kouandjio was found, not fully clothed, in a field after climbing over an electric fence. When an Erie County Sheriff's deputy went to detain him, the source said, the 6-foot-7, 322-pound Kouandjio yelled, "Shoot me!"

I agree 100% It's rumored Gregggg Williams wanted to draft Drew Brees, but Donahoe was against it.

What a waste, the guy had all the talent but instead threw it all away to be a "gangsta." I don't feel sorry for him, but I do feel sorry for his victims families and his own family.

That too! Thanks!

At the start of the 2001 season, a lot of people proclaimed the 2001 Bills would be better than the year before as the West Coast offense would be better suited for Rob Johnson.

Think of that one yourself? Actually I'm a Contract Manager and deal in negotiations. I know I would need the scouting experience. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what makes an NFL team successful. A good QB, a good O-line to give him time in the pocket. At least two quality WR's. You want to hold my hand? I'm not looking for a date pal.

I'd love the opportunity to be an NFL GM.

I'm not from Cheektowaga, but I'm very confident I could field a better roster than Whaley.

I'm sure there are plenty of people from Cheektowaga that could do better than Whaley.

Whaley seems to be just like another GM that came from Pittsburgh, Tom Donahoe. “Buffalo’s draft classes have produced inconsistent results, but Whaley has shown the ability to find talent in free agency. Daugherty mentioned Taylor in his blurb on Whaley and two of his most inexpensive additions last year, Lorenzo Alexander and Zach Brown, both had career-years with Buffalo.” http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2017/04/buffalo_bills_doug_whaley_listed_as_worst_gm_in_league_by_rotoworld.html Donahoe had terrible drafts, but had some good pickups in FA. So far, both Whaley and Donahoe have around the same results, both of which have produced only one winning season each 9-7, followed by numerous losing seasons. I think the Bills should stop trying to poach the Steelers organization for people to run theirs.

It's called having a strategy, such as in multiple years, not just thinking about this season. For any business to be successful, there has to be a plan/vision on what the business should be and strategies to accomplish that vision. For the past 17 years, it seems the only vision this team has had is coming up with marketing schemes to sell tickets, not how to make this team a winner. I have absolutely no doubts that many of us that post here on TBD could have built a more successful team over the past 17 years than the clowns 🤡 that have been running this team.

The Bills always need help immediately, that's because they've built their teams terribly throughout this playoff drought. It should be painfully obvious by now that they need a franchise QB. The best way to get a franchise QB is at the top of the draft. So if the Bills aren't at the bottom of the league in the standings, then how are they going to be able to draft at the top? Either by tanking or by having to trade up and give up multiple picks. Guys like Wilson, Prescott and Brady are two few in between as not many lower round QB's workout. Next would be having a solid offensive line that can pass protect something teams like the Patriots, Cowboys and Raiders have. The Raiders have sucked since their last Super Bowl appearance, but they finally built their team right. So the way I look at it, it's either the Bills should suck for a few years like they did in the mid-80's so they can draft at the top of the draft and get some elite players, or they could trade back a time or two, stock pile draft picks either for this year or future years and have the ammo to move up in the draft if there is an elite player available that fits their needs. TBD limits the amount of characters on the title of the thread which is why I listed out the entire question in the poll. From what it sounds like, this years QB class is weak. I don't want to see the Bills draft another Manuel or Losman in the first round. If there is an elite prospect(s) in the draft next year, then the Bills will need all the extra draft picks to move up in the draft without setting the franchise back years with having to give up multiple high round draft picks such as the Redskins did with RG3.

Looks like he hired some good lawyers on this case.

That's understandable. If the Bills keep having their record stay around the same mark (6-10 - 9-7), they continue to draft between 8-19 which is not high enough in the draft order to get an elite prospect. So if that continues, I'd rather see the Bills have a two or three year plan to stockpile draft picks, that way they don't have to do a Washington Redskins and give up three first round draft picks of their own (or even close to that).

I’m glad to see the Bills do their due diligence on the QB’s in the draft. If the Bills do take a QB in the first round, I hope it’s not another bust like EJ Manuel or JP Losman. If there isn’t a QB worthy of a high round draft pick and the Bills are truly in the market for their “future” QB, IMO, they should move back with teams in the draft, ask for 2018 draft picks instead, that way if the Bills need to trade up in next year’s draft to get a good QB that has the potential to be a franchise QB, they’ll have the assets to do it with instead of sacrificing multiple draft picks of their own. With the Bills drafting at 10, I’m sure they could move down at least twice in this year’s draft.
