Ravens are shooting themselves in the foot tonight, between a ton of dropped passes, dumb penalties and Jackson has been off target.

Wow, did not expect the Titans to be up 14-0

Multiple Needs Fixed in One Shot: Pursue Taysom Hill
Jerry Jabber replied to MrEpsYtown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What kind of a name is Taysom? Sounds like something from Key & Peele. -
Singletary had great receiving numbers and I was completely baffled that Daboll didn’t call more passes to him. The report on the Texans defense going into the game was that they struggled with short to intermediate passes and it showed, which is very hard to believe that the Bills didn’t activate Yeldon and made Gore inactive. Yeldon also has great receiving numbers against the Jets. Now I get that Gore was brought in to be a mentor to Singletary, but Gore is no longer a #1 and not even a #2 RB in the league. Another head scratcher was Kroft/Lee Smith over Sweeney. Sweeney caught everything thrown to him against the Jets. Teams that don’t put in their best players and keep in players that have a higher stature have ego problems and sometimes it comes back to bite them, and that happened to the Bills. By no means am I saying the Bills would be putting up over 40 points with Duke, Yeldon and Sweeney in the game every week, but I think the Bills would have won the game with Yeldon and Sweeney in there (along with better play calling from Daboll).

Duke Williams played more snaps than Cole Beasley
Jerry Jabber replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My mistake. The one I was thinking of was in the end zone as well and Josh over threw Williams by a yard. That play eerily reminds me of Ronnie Harmon in 1989 when the Bills lost to the Browns. I’m still not down on Williams. He’s barely played this year which was baffling considering Robert Foster did next to nothing all season long. Maybe if Williams played all season long, had more game time experience, it’s possible he makes the catch? (Not making excuses for him). I know Williams was devastated afterwards, especially with being out of the NFL and the long hard road to get back and have another opportunity. There’s plenty of blame to go around on this loss. I hope everyone involved (players, coaches) use this as motivation in the offseason to get better. -
Duke Williams played more snaps than Cole Beasley

Perfectly placed? It looked overthrown to me and Williams was able to stretch his hand out just to get a piece of it. Don’t get the Williams hate on this board?! -
While it sucked that the Bills lost, a good consolidation prize was seeing the Patriots knocked out of the playoffs in the first round. Another plus, the Bills Superbowl record of four in a row stays intact. What would make it the icing on the cake, this is the end of the Patriots dynasty (we’ll find out in the offseason).

Devin Singletary/ Best Bills player on the field today
Jerry Jabber replied to Figster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would had liked to see more screen passes to Singletary today. Disappointed with Daboll’s play calling (again). Otherwise, Singletary looked great today. -
Duke suiting up today vs Texans

I hear ya, especially with how good they both looked last week against the Jets. -

Great, so no Rob Johnson, cough cough, excuse Matt Barkley? -
For years during the playoff drought, the goal was just to get to the playoffs by which the team failed (most times miserably). McDermott has changed the culture to a team first environment, being 1/11th, “the process,” etc... The team achieved its initial goal as they proved they are playoff caliber, now its time to shoot for the ultimate goal of winning a world championship, something Leslie Frazier and Sean McDermott have been preaching to the Bills players.

Sad news. I remember the Bills teams of the 80's could never get past the Bengals when Wyche was their coach. RIP Sam.

GM Dorsey meeting with Haslam - He's out

Maybe they should hire Russ Brandon as he was in Draft Day as well Russ did a hell of a job selling hope to us Bills fans for how many years. -
Titans at Pats = 1996 Jags at Bills
Jerry Jabber replied to Lenigmusx's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was in the Marines stationed over in Okinawa and had duty during the game. I remember trying asking other Marines who were off duty if they knew what the score was. I was stunned to hear that the Bills lost and Kelly was carted off the field. Sad way to end the Bills dynasty. As far as the Titans/Patriots game, it seems that old Patriots players/coaches do well against the Patriots. The Titans have been playing better under Tannehill and the Patriots just lost to an underachieving Dolphins team, so I can see the Titans winning this one. -

We should also thank Kim & Terry Pegula for not being meddling owners. -
Nsekhe, Shaq and Roberts all Practicing today.
Jerry Jabber replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Roberts has had some nice returns as a PR/KR. But I hear what you're saying about having Duke, Yeldon as well as Sweeney active, maybe think of benching DiMarco, Foster, Lee Smith or Kroft. -

Redskins tried that approach when Dan Snyder bought the team and it failed miserably. Who is worse as an owner, Haslam or Snyder? -

Dolphins hire Chan Gailey as OC
Jerry Jabber replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I liked the Bills offense under Gailey. He got the most out of Spiller. Like others have said, Gailey is a good OC, just not a good HC.
