  1. Since it's election day, why not take the time and cast your vote on the job Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey have been doing. Thanks!
  2. I just read the article posted on TBD, that Ralph told Gailey that he is not happy that the Bills are losing. So, does this mean that if the Bills bottom out and finishes 6-10 (or worse) does Ralph tell Nix to fire Gailey (contrary to what Nix said last week), does Ralph fire Nix, or does nothing happen?
  3. Glenn & Urbik just came back this week, plus Hairston shifted from LT to RT, plus they faced a ferocious Texans pass rush, so with all things considered, I'd say they played good considering the circumstances. While Drayton Florence was bad last year, he was still better than Aaron Williams. Letting Florence go, and going with two rookies in the backfield [Gilmore & Williams] was a monumental blunder by the coaching staff.
  4. Already started talking about this earlier today: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/152207-aaron-williams-injury-status/
  5. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  6. The Bills need a real franchise QB, not Fitznoodlearm who can't throw the ball more than 9 yards down the field. A top 5 pick could land the Bills their new QB, but anything higher then they would have to trade up big time like the Redskins did: two 1st round draft picks, and one 2nd rounder, that's a lot to give up for 1 guy.
  7. Agree 100%
  8. I haven't heard any word about Aaron Williams, but does anyone know the severity of his injury? I don't wish injuries on anyone, so hopefully Leodis or Ron Brooks can step up and secure that spot, because Williams was getting beat badly again yesterday (just like he has all season long).
  9. I would love to see Wanny fired in a few weeks, but like others have said, I think if he does get fired (crossing my fingers that he does) it won't happen until after the season.
  10. Do a google search and see how many results you'll find.
  11. I agree with you. While I think Gailey has done a good (not great) job with the offense, overall he is a terrible Head Coach. He has given over "full-reigns" to the defense to his coordinator's and has no accountability on that side of the ball. IMO, the Bills defense this year is the worst I've ever seen. The sad part about that is there is a lot of talent on defense, but are shackled due to the ineptness of Wannstedt. In regards to "billeving," unless Bill Polian is re-hired, I'm done drinking the OBD kool-aid that Russ Brandon, Boss Hogg & Co create every offseason.
  12. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2012/11/2/3590950/chan-gailey-hot-seat-buddy-nix-buffalo-bills?login=1351883403 "He's got a year or more (left)," Nix said Friday afternoon, per The Buffalo News." "I know you fans have been through 12 years, or whatever it is, and you're frustrated about it," Nix said. "The big thing is you don't want to start over. If you start over, you're going to get 12 more, and that's not where we're headed." Boss Hogg [Nix] stated that Cooter’s [Gailey] job is safe, but does that mean Wannstedt’s job is safe as well, given Cooter and Wannstedt are close friends? After this year’s abysmal performance on defense, I can’t imagine Wannstedt remaining as the Bills defensive coordinator.
  13. KC will be able to take the best QB in the draft. Hopefully the Bills can draft the 2nd best QB and is good like RGIII is.
  14. Which Mario shows up for the Bills on Sunday, Super Mario or Mariocre?
  15. I feel Wannstedt’s evaluation of the talent he has on defense has been terrible! From flip-flopping Moats from ILB to OLB to ILB and back to OLB, Merriman as a DE, Sheppard as the starting MLB, releasing Drayton Florence and replacing him with Aaron Williams (even though Florence was bad last year, the move was a downgrade), and thinking Mark Anderson could be an every down DE (he’s a situational pass rusher, always has been). IMO, Barnett and Morrison should split the MLB position with B. Scott taking over Barnett’s old position. Once Ron Brooks is healthy, insert him into the lineup and have Brooks & McKelvin split time at Aaron Williams’ CB position. I would convert A. Williams into a safety and start splitting George Wilson’s time on the field between Wilson/Searcy and sprinkle in A. Williams a few times a game to slowly break him into the Safety position. Moats and Kelsay should split time at DE (sorry, Moats is not an LB, he’s a DE…ask Favre). Have Kelsay in on run plays, and Moats in on pass plays.
  16. I haven't heard anything lately (besides how bad the defense sucks!) Any news on Levitre's & Byrd's contract negotiations? Thanks!
  17. Exactly!! The Bills aren't going to make the playoffs, so why screw up the draft positioning again with another pick from the 10-15 range?
  18. Chan's contract is up at the end of the season. If the Bills don't get to at least 9-7, he will not receive a contract extension. Therefore, Nix will conduct another coaching search to find a new HC. As long as that HC is not Wannstedt, Wanny will be gone at the end of the season as the new Bills HC will bring in his own set of coaches.
  19. Not only could Buffalo host the Superbowl, it could host Wrestlemania as well!! (Before the sarcastic remarks hit, can't I dream as well!!) While this idea of a retractable domed stadium in the Outer Harbor is a great idea, unfortunately it will never happen, due to the corrupt politicians in WNY. If Buffalo couldn't land Bass Pro, then they sure as hell won't be able to develop a $1.4 Billion dollar stadium.
  20. You're math sounds just about right! If all of that happens, Brady will be retired and the Bills might have a legitimate shot in the AFC East (given they get a competent QB and a competent coaching staff). Too bad we have to wait that long for it to happen!
  21. Lol!!! Yep, we've heard that one before... Marty Ball sounds real good right now compared to the crap we've been seeing on the field this season.
  22. I'm glad the Bills started out the season the way they did, instead of giving us false hope that they are actually a good football team, then pull the wool from our eyes and say "Surprise...fooled you again...HAHAHAHA!!!!!!" I'm getting ready to markup another year of missing the playoffs, and going through a new Head Coaching search at the end of the season. Just like everyone else (to use some wrestling terminology), nobody wants another "Jabroni" or "Ham and Egger" as the next Bills HC. My personal choice would be Marty Schottenheimer. I feel "Marty Ball" would be perfect for the Bills right now, as they have a great 1-2 punch at RB. If not Marty, I wouldn't mind Brian Billick. After how abysmal the defense is, nobody would want Wannsuck as the Bills HC.
  23. This is becoming comical! I'm out...take care everyone!
