  1. Is there any doubt that we need a real franchise QB?!
  2. 401 yards of offense for the 49ers so far...that's pathetic!!!
  3. Williams burnt again this season...
  4. Talk about some bullsh@%...Kyle Williams has been fined $15k for his hit on Brady: http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2012/10/3/3449634/buffalo-bills-kyle-williams-fined-tom-brady-hit "The NFL does not announce weekly fines until Friday, so it will be interesting to see if Patriots inside linebacker Brandon Spikes is hit with a fine for a vicious hit while blocking on an interception return that put tight end Scott Chandler out of the game. Chandler is 6'7", friends; you have to try pretty hard - and leave your feet, in Spikes' case - to get a shoulder into Chandler's chin. If Williams' hit was fine-worthy, then Spikes' was worth a lot more money." I agree with this 100%
  5. Would love to see Schottenheimer as the Bills HC.
  6. http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/180qn79k8yfgtgif/original.gif You be the judge.
  7. 0-2 in the division, pathetic!!!
  8. The Bills need a real franchise QB, plus a lot more help on defense.
  9. Pathetic!!! Absolutely Pathetic!!!
  10. Same here. After watching the Bills get blown out 56-10 at the Ralph by the Pats years ago, I want to see the Bills do the same thing to the Pats in Foxboro!!
  11. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2012/9/26/3413344/bills-vs-patriots-and-other-nfl-predictions "Starting from the 2003 season, here are the scores from the first division game of the year vs the Patriots: 2003: Bills 31- Patriots 0, 2004: Patriots 31 - Bills 17, 2005: Patriots 21 - Bills 16, 2006: Patriots 19 - Bills 17, 2007: Patriots 38 - Bills 7, 2008: Patriots 20 - Bills 10, 2009: Patriots 25 - Bills 24, 2010: Patriots 38 - Bills 30, 2011: Bills 34 - Patriots 31. During this time span, the Patriots outscored the Bills 223-186 in the first division games of the year. Without the two Bills victories (from 2003 and 2011), the Patriots outscored the Bills 192-121. Now for the scary part, the second division games of the year vs the Patriots: 2003: Patriots 31 – Bills 0, 2004: Patriots 29 - Bills 6, 2005: Patriots 35 - Bills 7, 2006: Patriots 28 - Bills 6, 2007: Patriots 56 - Bills 10, 2008: Patriots 13 - Bills 0, 2009: Patriots 17 - Bills 10, 2010: Patriots 34 - Bills 3, 2011: Patriots 49 - Bills 21. In the same time span as stated above, the Patriots outscored the Bills 292-57 in the second division game of the year. In every game since 2003, the Patriots have beaten and heavily outscored the Bills more in the second division game than in the first." In the words of retired WWE wrestler Ron Simmons: "DAMN!!!"
  12. Nix believes in Fitz...haha!!!
  13. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/los-angeles-stadium-plans-farmers-field-could-be-derailed-by-lawsuit-according-to-attorney-091312 "An attorney from the Natural Resources Defense Council warned a Los Angeles City Council committee that a recent lawsuit filed by anti-poverty and environmental activists could derail plans for a downtown NFL stadium. David Pettit of the NRDC, which is not involved in the lawsuit and supports the stadium, said Thursday that legal action from the Play Fair at Farmers Field Coalition could ''take down the entire project'' and encouraged mediation with stadium developer Anschutz Entertainment Group. The group also is saying AEG should pay $60 million toward affordable downtown housing." The group is suing over a state law passed to fast-track legal challenges to Farmers Field. AEG and LA want a plan finalized by March, when they hope they can convince an NFL owner to move a team to the city." Is this potentially good news for Bills fans?
  14. Can't say I blame you
  15. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2012/9/12/3322008/week-2-nfl-predictions "Bills 31, Chiefs 29 Another very close game that could go either way. Last year, the Bills demolished the Chiefs 41-7 in the season opener, but that was last year. Both the Chiefs and the Bills lost convincingly to their week 1 opponents, and look to redeem themselves in week 2." "Ravens 41, Eagles 10 Expect a Baltimore beat down of epic proportions on Sunday. If Eagles fans had concerns about their team going into the season, they should be very concerned this Sunday. In a town that booed Santa Claus, expect Eagles fans to be calling for the entire coaching staff and Mike Vick to be fired!!" I think if the Eagles were to get beaten that bad by the Ravens, the whole Philly area would explode!!
  16. LMAO!!!
  17. I know we didn't have a first round pick in 2005. If Donahoe wouldn't have made the trade with Dallas to draft Loseman, then the Bills would have had a first round pick in 2005, and would have been able to draft Aaron Rodgers. I never understood why Donahoe was in such a hurry to draft a QB. IMO, Fitzpathetic was a stop gap QB for the Bills while Boss Hogg & Cooter [Nix & Gailey] built up the rest of the team. Now it looks like Fitz is not even a good "Stop Gap" QB anymore. His performance on Sunday was more like a third string/practice squad QB, not a starter.
  18. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2012/9/11/3316988/grading-the-bills-week-1 "Coaching: F Just like Fitzpatrick, if anyone deserves a lower grade than F, then that honor should be shared with Chan Gailey, Bruce DeHaven and Dave Wannstedt. The Bills looked like they were still in preseason mode. The Bills defense looked very vanilla, and barely brought any blitzes. Wannstedt did a very poor job of making changes throughout the game. Here are some post game quotes from Gailey: '“We need to tighten up our coverage which will help our pass rush,” why thank you, Captain Obvious! "This is a cliché and I understand it. It is one of sixteen and if you win enough, you get in the playoffs.” I have two problems with this quote. First off, Gailey has been preaching since day one as Bills HC that he doesn’t hope to win, he expects to win. So, now Gailey has either lowered his expectations, or has been blowing smoke up our collective butts. Second, while Sunday’s game was only one of 16, it was against a division rival [Jets], and the game is only one of six. Right now, the Bills are 0-1 in the AFC East. Last season, the Bills were 1-5 in the division. The better your win/loss record is in the division, the better the chances you’ll have of making the playoffs." I couldn't agree more. It might have been just one game, but it also happened to be a divisional game, and you only get six of those a year.
  19. I agree. The Bills basically gave up 31 points to the Jets on Sunday, from 3 INT's 1 fumble, and 1 punt return for a TD. Everytime the offense turns it over, it's an opportunity for the opposing offense to score.
  20. Would the real refs please stand up...please stand up!! I would be pissed too, but like others have said, if this guy his punching you in the face, do it right back to him.
  21. I agree 100% I brought up that point about the D in another thread. Plus, the punt team gave up a 68 yard return for a TD. In essence, the Bills gave up 31 points to the Jets.
  22. I didn't like the Johnson signing from the get go. Johnson came off the bench and played great for 1 game, that wasn't enough to garner giving up a 1st & 4th round draft picks for him. Losman was Donahoe's brilliant idea (his drafts sucked!!) and gave up way too much for him. I don't know why Donahoe was in such a hurry to draft a QB. If he would have waited, Aaron Rodgers would have been there for us the following year. Bill Walsh recommended Edwards, and I would have done the same thing as Levy. If I was an NFL scout, I could give you a good idea on who to draft, but I'm not. While you listed a bunch of first round busts, you also failed to post successful 1st, 2nd & other round QB's. We all know the draft is a crap shoot, that's why you have to have excellent scout's to give you good evaluations on these players.
  23. Even if the Bills were to win the Superbowl, there would still be people complaining about something.
  24. I don't follow college football so I'm not going to even try and take a stab at it. All I know is that there is at least one good QB in every draft (look at Sam Bradford the year he was drafted). Now who that QB is for the 2013 draft is beyond me? You're right the draft is a crapshoot, but Bills have not had a franchise QB since January 1997 (almost 16 years) and have missed the playoffs for 12 straight years (currently longest streak in the NFL) mainly due to that reason...coincedence?
