  1. Given all the talk that this year's crop of QB's is considered weak by NFL experts, would you be upset if the Bills didn't draft a top rated rated QB in the draft this year (such as Nassib, Barkley, Smith, etc...)? Would it be better for the Bills to wait until next year's draft to use a high draft pick on a QB? My concern is if the Bills use a 1st, 2nd or 3rd round pick on a QB and he doesn't workout, then we could have another JP Losman/Trent Edwards situation on our hands and be stuck with this guy for 3-4 years, then have to go through this process again years down the road.
  2. "He said bad, awful things...and I fell down the stairs...and my shoes fell off!!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IsDeY3puRE
  3. They had a bunch more besides that line, but that was the best one.
  4. I saw this on NFL AM today, it was a picture of 5-6 Bills fans wearing Easter Bunny masks during a game at the Ralph, followed by hilarious comments from twitter describing the picture. Here's the one that stuck out the most: "The Buffalo Bills should change their names to the Buffalo Bunnies, because they are very soft, have nothing between the ears and show up for 1 Sunday a year!" Hard to argue that point!
  5. Long time no hear, how have you been?
  6. You're right, they can only splurge in FA once a decade.
  7. Did Nix, Whaley & Brandon go to sleep after firing Fitzpatrick? The Bills need help at QB, LB & WR? So do they really think they'll be able to plug these holes in the draft?
  8. The Bills already have solid return men on the team that they didn't need to overpay: Spiller, Rogers & Easley. That money they used to overpay McKelvin could have been used on the many holes that the Bills have.
  9. The Bills aren't the worst team in the NFL? They just gave a below average CB a 4 year 20 mil contract. Before that, they gave a below average DE [Kelsay] a 4 year 24 mil extension, and a below average QB a 6 year 59 mil extension...Only in Buffalo!!
  10. Nah, they're not the worst, but consistently the most below average team in the league over the past 13 years.
  11. http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2013/3/2/4057804/flaccos-low-2013-cap-hit-opens-doors-for-ravens Not so fast on Ellerbe: "Well, seems as if, as usual with all things Ravens, everyone was wrong again. With Flacco making a huge, blockbuster deal and becoming, in theory until Monday, the highest paid player in the game with a six year 120 million dollar plus deal of which 60 million is guaranteed, the team still found a way to keep him at a low cap number over the next season or two so they can survive another player purge for the moment. We already know that Ray Lewis and Matt Birk are retiring so we are saving at least 5-6 million more from them. So, hopefully the team is sitting pretty and ready to spend this newly acquired fortune. Their next main priority should be Dannell Ellerbe considering he is a beast and they are thin at inside linebacker. Ed Reed sticking around for another season or two has just become much more a possibility. Heck the Ravens might even be able to take a stab at signing another one of their own players or bringing in some free agent talent. The Baltimore Ravens still might need to tweak a few things with the contracts of Anquan Boldin and Jacoby Jones in hopes that they could be released and re-sign with the team under more "cap-friendly" deals but at least now they have the option of keeping one or both of them if neither of the two will work with them. Paul Kruger and Cary Williams will most likely still be gone as Kruger is rumored to be looking for somewhere around 10 million a year and Williams wants to be paid as a number one corner which he is not and the Ravens have already paid Lardarius Webb for that. I could be wrong but at least the team has some room to work with this season so, if they don't strike it rich in the draft with young talent at all the positions they need, they can still search the free agent market for guys who have not gotten the contracts they had hoped.. Players that would welcome the idea of coming to the reigning world champions for a bit less money than they were hoping." The Ravens could still resign Ellerbe given Flacco's low hit against the salary cap this season.
  12. So, anyone that has any type of complaints about the Bills is a blubbering four year in walmart?! So, we've just got to keep "Billeving" right, even though the same management that brought us a crap team for the past 3 years is still in place? We're just suppose to think because Brandon says "the Bills brand has been tarnished" and "we've got to get back to the playoffs" that the Bills are actually going to be a better team? If bringing the Bills back to respectability and just making the playoffs is equivalent to a Superbowl for you, then that's great, whatever floats your boat pal. Considering we've been a loyal fan base for how many years, I feel we should see a high quality team that goes on a successful run like the current Baltimore Ravens or how the Steelers have been under Roethlisberger, not just being like the Detroit Lions (one playoff appearance after 10+ years of losing teams). Do you buy Bills merchandise? Do you go to the games? Where were you when the Bills got destroyed 56-10 by the Patriots in 2007? Did you watch the game comfortably from home, or were you in stands wondering why you wasted you hard earned money to watch such as terrible team?! Keep drinking the kool-aid, Ralph & Russ need blind sheep like you that will follow them no matter what. Who's the next free-agent the mayor is going to give the key to the city to? Talk about lowering your standards!!
  13. I already stated that I feel Brandon & a lot of fans have lowered their standards about what the Bills should strive for. I feel we've been a very loyal fan base and deserve so much more than what we've been getting from the organization. But if that bothers you, then deal with it.
  14. That's nice I don't think I'm off base, it was a legitimate question. Yes, sports fans will cry no matter how good or bad things are. I've given the Bills the benefit of doubt for so many years, but I need to see results before I start believing they are headed in the right direction. I really hope Marrone has the same success with the Bills as the Harbaugh Bros are having with their teams. Only time will tell if that will happen.
  15. Good question. The article didn't say.
  16. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/01/andy-levitre-in-limbo-hasnt-heard-anything-from-bills/ “I’m in limbo right now,” Levitre said. “I don’t know what their plan is. “Now that Jairus got his franchise tag, there’s a week and a half for them to work a deal out with me. But I haven’t been offered anything yet. We’re waiting around to see if something will pop up.”
  17. So you mean to tell me that if you paid for a product or service and wasn't happy with it's performance, that you wouldn't voice your opinion about it? You would just keep your frustration to yourself? I guarantee you if RWS did not sell out as many games and there were tens of thousands of empty seats that ownership/management would make some drastic changes.
  18. If more pissed off fans (like myself) quit buying merchandise and stop going to the games, then that will make an impact. Look at how empty the stadium was during the Kay Stephenson/Hank Bullough era. But hey, if you don't see a problem and are happy with the status quo of the Bills, then good for you...Russ & Ralph are counting on you!
  19. Well said! This is the same as politics. If you don't voice your opinion or do anything at all to make the situation better, then nothing will change.
  20. Brandon's words are all bark and no bite. I get tired of hearing the Bills don't have enough talent and the team is rebuilding. The Bills have been rebuilding since 2000.
  21. You're not getting the point, and it's not having the Ricky Bobby attitude either. Yes, who wouldn't love to see the Bills back in the playoffs? Expecting a championship every year is unrealistic. I'm saying just becoming relevant & making it back to the playoffs should not be the only goals, but many on here, as well as Brandon seem to think that will be good enough.
