  1. It's one thing if this was the 2nd year under Marrone, Hackett & Pettine where we've seen the Bills play, their schemes and how they use players, but this is year one under a new coaching regime with new coaching schemes. Trying to predict how the Bills will do at this point before even seeing them put on the pads and play a preseason game is equivalent to predicting how well you're going to like a new job just after completing the first interview, but appearently Ms. Cleo, you have the ability to do that. So continue being a troll with avoiding questions and making blind predictions.
  2. No Ms. Cleo, you're the psychic here. Your psychic powers are predicting Mike Pettine will turn the Bills defense around in one season and he will be a Head Coach in 2014, even without seeing the Bills play a single down. What's the winning lottery numbers going to be this week?
  3. I already stated my predictions and said that you could get a good gauge at how the Bills could do this season after the 3rd preseason game (when the Bills starters get extensive action). I also laid out the scenarios of how Spiller could do based on how Hackett could run the offense. There's no point in having you re-read my post because it's painfully obvious you don't have reading comprehension, so let me help you out. Dial 1-800--ABCDEFG and ask for a program called "Hooked on Phonics," It will give you a start in the right direction. Since you're into bold & blind predictions, how many tackles will Kiko Alonzo have in his NFL career?
  4. (From Matt in KC): Fun! I'll take a shot. Do you even know how Hackett is going to utilize Spiller? No, but I suspet he'll be the primary RB. That's a given. Do you see Hackett using Spiller like Gailey did, go 50/50 pass/run, or like the Vikings used Adrian Peterson (heavy run, minimal passes)? Who is going to be the starting QB? Kolb until 3-6 games into the season, then Manuel. I agree with that as I imagine Kolb will get injured (he's been injury prone during his career) and Manuel will take over. How many WR's are the Bills going to keep? 6 I agree. I'm going with SJ, Woods, Graham, Goodwin, Brad Smith and Rogers. What's the Bills win/loss record going to be each year for the next 5 years? 6-10, 9-7, 11-5, 10-6, 9-7 6-10, 7-9, 7-9...new coaches again...6-10, 7-9 (just going with the averages, hope I'm wrong) Who will win Superbowl 50? The Saints I'm going with the Ravens When will the earth come to an end? 3429 (from an asteroid) - I assume you mean when will humans be wiped from the Earth. There will still be giant mass circling the sun after the asteroid collision. I'm going with 3797. http://science.disco...predictions.htm So if the discussion is pointless to you, why not just skip the thread? Didn't say the whole thread was pointless, just trying to predict what could possibly happen 2-4 years from now before the Bills even take a snap in preseason with a completely new coaching regime is pointless, same with trying to predict who the Bills first round pick will be in 2014.
  5. I get it, you like to make bold and blind predictions. This is just as ridiculous as the thread guessing at who the Bills will draft in the first of of next year. So, you're just throwing out a blind prediction on Spiller without evening knowing how Hackett will use him. Here are my guesses on Hackett and Spiller: If Hackett uses Spiller like Gailey did (excuse me, underutilized him), then I can see him get anywhere between 1100-1300 yards rushing. If Hackett spilts the plays close to 50/50 pass/run, then I can see Spiller having more than 1400 yards rushing. If Hackett utilizes Spiller the way Minnesota did with AP (heavy run with limited passes), then I can see Spiller being in the Top 3 in rushing this year. The Bills have an entirely new coaching staff and systems in place, so at this point, it's useless trying to predict or guess at how well/poor the Bills will do. After the 3rd preseason game is when you can get a decent gauge at how the Bills look (when we see the starters in for extensive action). Since you're into bold & blind predictions, answer these questions then: Do you even know how Hackett is going to utilize Spiller? Who is going to be the starting QB? How many WR's are the Bills going to keep? What's the Bills win/loss record going to be each year for the next 5 years? Who will win Superbowl 50? When will the earth come to an end?
  6. That's your opinion. This conversation was talked about last year with Dave Wannstedt and looked how things turned out. After 13 years of missing the playoffs, I'm not predicting or assuming anything with this team. Some people (like yourself) are assuming Pettine will lead the Bills defense out of the abyss they have been in for years. We need to see Pettine prove it in Buffalo. Will Pettine come up with a good game plan every week? Will he put the right players in the right places? How well will Pettine make adjustments throughout the game. Once a team figures out the Bills weaknesses on defense, will Pettine be able to counter effectively? Those are the questions that should be answered first before we say he'll bolt for a HC position.
  7. I think the tooting of Pettine's horn is very premature. The defense hasn't even play a down under Pettine, so let's wait and see how the Defense performs over the course of the season before recommending he should be a HC in the league (Dave Wannstedt ring a bell?)

  12. This is something you would expect to see in a horror, not in real life: http://news.yahoo.com/california-landlords-hell-heading-jail-menacing-tenants-194650343--abc-news-topstories.html "The landlords' actions ranged from cutting holes in the floor of one victim's living room with a power saw while he was inside the apartment to soaking victims' beds, clothes and electronics with ammonia, according to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office." "The actions of these defendants are so outlandish and brazen that it sounds like the plot line of a horror movie," district attorney George Gascon said in a statement. "This case shows you you cannot flee this country and avoid the consequences of your actions. These defendants will be held fully accountable for their crimes."
  13. Nope, it will change to figisstillanobxiousa-hole.com Exactly.
  14. If I wanted to talk about it in the Aaron Hernandez thread I would have posted it there. It makes no sense, if I'm having a conversation on a thread, what are we suppose to say to each other, well we can't talk about that here, we have to go to another thread and bounce all around trying to keep track of a conversation. It's one thing if we were on the stadium wall, but we're in the "off the wall" forum.
  15. What should have been validated is how many times this has happened to a team in the NFL, say over the past 10 years, 15 years, 20 years (however long "bye" weeks have been around). If there is some statisical proof that this has happened to the Bills significantly higher than any other team in the NFL, then Chris Brown has a valid complaint. If this is just an anomaly, then the complaint is not valid. If it continues to happen, then Brown has a valid complaint. Without previous statistical data to back up Brown's claim, his complaint is invalid.
  16. They were transferred to the Aaron Hernandez thread (not sure why?)
  17. I agree. I guess it's everyone else's fault for all the years of bad management decisions, bad drafts, bad player signings, not getting a franchise QB, etc...
  18. There needs to be more analysis done to determine how many teams have been getting a raw deal in regards to the schedule, home games after Thanksgiving, etc... and for how long it's been going on. At the moment, 2 years in a row doesn't seem like much to complain about, but if it continually happens year after year, then there definitely is a problem,.
  19. Who the hell wants to pay money to sit at an NFL stadium (which is not cheap these days) to watch a team after Thanksgiving when you know they have no chance of making the playoffs at that point! It doesn't matter if you're at the Ralph or in a domed stadium, you're not going to sell out a stadium if your team is doing terrible (like the Bills have been for the past 13 years) and has no chance at making the playoffs.
  20. Maybe someone should check out why Fitzpatrick couldn't accurately throw the ball more than 20 yards down the field; The limited amount of carries CJ Spiller got; the vanilla defense that gave up a record amount of yards over the past 2 seasons. Do you think that had anything to do with the Bills problems last year?
  21. I agree John. Are the Bills always going to complain when things don't go their way? Like you said, the Bills complained about having numerous games at the Ralph after Thansgiving because the poor weather conditions at that time of year was having an effect on ticket sales. The NFL granted the Bills wish this year, yet they are still complaining! Back in the late 80's thru the mid 90's, selling out the Ralph in December & January was never a problem because the team was winning. If the Bills would focus on having competent management & coaches running this organization, then they wouldn't need to come up with excuses for their shortcomings.
  22. Brady & Welker had great chemistry together. I don't know how well Danny Amendola will fit in with Brady, but I expect there will be some kind of drop off.
  23. If the Bills had better talent (at least year and years past) in regards to management, coaches & players, then this wouldn't be an issue. We'll see if this year will be any different.
