With 3,054 posts (and counting), I wouldn't call it being a "short timer" or the "real" website. Not everyone posts on the same websites, so we're just trying to stay in touch. Is there something wrong with what we're doing?

I know that we can have multiple threads discussing multiple topics, but you're completely missing the point here. Us RF365ers are trying to stay in a centralized location for the time being until our website comes back up. Others are more than welcome to join in on the conversation(s) as we discuss multiple topics. Haven't those talks, as well as the waterfront development been going on since the early 80's? You're making me hungry! I haven't had a beef on weck from Steve's in a long time. After going to Schwabl's, I haven't been back to Steve's since. In the words of the late Ronnie James Dio "LOOK OUT!!!"

Just wondering, but why did Joma's last 2 posts get deleted? I understand that every site has it's rules and regulations in regards to personal attacks etc..., but is it wrong to have a negative opinion on things? Aren't posters allowed to argue with each other? After 13 years of terrible football, I think it gives a lot of people the right to be negative about this team.

http://www.trendingbuffalo.com/sports/buffalo-sabres/sabres-talking-trade-with-avalanche-for-top-pick/ Sabres are talking trade with Colorado and Florida for their 1st round draft pick. If this happens, I wonder if we'll see Miller and/or Vanek involved in the trade, or will the Sabres send their 2 1st round picks to either Colorado or Florida?

At the moment, this link is the temporary home to us folks from realfootball365.com. We talk about numerous subjects relating to the Bills, WNY, food, and life in general, which is why this thread is listed in "Off the Wall."

Brad Smith, as well as CJ Spiller were both underutilized under Cooter (for those non-RF365'ers, Cooter is Chan Gailey, Boss Hogg is Buddy Nix, and Mary Owen is Daisy Dukes (okay, I just made that one up about Daisy)). Yes, Smith did well during the very few times he was in the game in the wildcat by picking up first downs, but his contributions were too few and far between (again, that was on Cooter). Question is, will Hackett be able to get more out of this offense, and guys like Spiller & Smith then his predecessor did?

After the past 13 miserable seasons, I don't want to see a Bills QB just take the team to the playoffs, but one that will actually win a superbowl. Maybe I'll have better luck with with the Megamillions or Powerball.
-
I'm interested in seeing if Hackett can get the most out of the players on offense. It's clear that Cooter underutilized Spiller, and had no clue what to do with Brad Smith. Still no luck on RF365. It's up, but shows the same message when you click on the latest article.

The T-Jax cut means more reps for Manuel. Next question is, does Bills management see enough to keep Tuel as a 3rd QB, or are they planning on using Brad Smith as their 3rd stringer to save on a roster spot?

Thanks Jethro!

Honestly, I'm just a frustrated fan. If the Bills would have made the playoffs a couple of times within the last 13 years, I wouldn't be so frustrated with them. When you shell out a few hundred bucks every year on the NFL Sunday ticket, buy merchandise, and make the trek to Buffalo for an occasional game, you expect better results than what we have been seeing. I checked RF365.com, the site is back up, but when you click on an article, you get a blank screen with the following message: "No input file specified."

Thanks Joma!

Byrd Skipping mandatory mini-camp
Jerry Jabber replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2013/6/10/4415240/jairus-byrd-planning-to-skip-buffalo-bills-mandatory-ota. "This news isn't remotely surprising, as this minicamp is Byrd's last bit of leverage before a July 15 deadline for the two sides to agree to a long-term deal. If July 15 comes and goes without a contract, Byrd will only be able to sign a one-year deal with the club, and he'll have the option of abstaining from joining the team until as late as November 12." "Byrd can't be fined for his absence, as he's currently not under contract (he hasn't signed the franchise tender the team put on him in early March). His continued absence will undoubtedly be a disappointment for all parties involved, but again: July 15 is the date to really worry about." -
Thanks anello, I appreciate it! You and Goose wrote some great articles as well. It was nice having one site to discuss all things related to Buffalo and sports. I didn't care much for some of the political & religious rants by some members, but otherwise, I enjoyed our time on RF365.

I agree!

Conner was a good writer, I enjoyed most of his articles, but the guy that took over for him [Anthony Bialy] was a bad writer. RF365 was good while it lasted.

Irsay screwed Baltimore and Modell screwed Cleveland. Bills have been been getting screwed for the past 13 years. Otherwise, congrats to the Ravens on winning the Superbowl and getting their rings.

Since 1980, I haven't drank the OBD kool-aid in 2001 when Rob Johnson was named starter, and this year. After 13 years of missing the playoffs and getting my hopes up every year that they are turning things around, I need to see results first before I have anymore OBD kool-aid. Seeing is Billeving!

I'm still here (steveb). It sucks about RF365, but we kind of knew it was going to happen sooner or later. How has everyone been doing? Have you been able to locate the rest of the RF365 crew?
-
 I think the kool-aid at OBD has been a by-product of Monsanto since 2000, as the Bills win loss record since then is 82-126.

Bills sign WR DeMarco Sampson
Jerry Jabber replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is this guy a special teams player? I don't see him sticking on the Bills just as a WR. -
Is Jim Kelly ill ?? (update - has cancer)
Jerry Jabber replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Back to the topic at hand, hopefully Jim will feel better soon and have a speedy recovery from his surgeries. -
Interesting comment by Brian Moorman about the past Bills
Jerry Jabber replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if the Bills ever make it back to the playoffs, will they tear down the goal posts (like in 1988) and throw a parade for the team? The Bills have been an embarrassment for such a long time. Maybe the new youth movement can turn things around? -
Official OTA/Minicamp Thread (May/June)
Jerry Jabber replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/OTA-Practice-Notes---Day-6/46b8d837-9186-4aea-af60-b3ddffe57730 "Rookie connection strikes again EJ Manuel and undrafted rookie receiver Da’Rick Rogers again hooked up for a deep ball Thursday. Bills fans keeping track will remember Manuel and Rogers already connected deep once last week and once for an 80-yard touchdown Tuesday. On Thursday, Rogers ripped right up the seam and Manuel’s throw was on the money. Seventy yards later the duo had its third big play of OTAs." Should be interesting to see if this will continue throughout mini-camp, training camp, preseason etc... Andy Dalton & AJ Green were both drafted in the same year by the Bengals and have been good together since. It would be great to see that same chemistry with Manuel, Rogers (and hopefully the rest of the Bills WR's).
