I'm always trusting the team that has been to 4 straight NLL Finals and won 2 NLL Cups in a row over a team that hasn't until proven otherwise. Being in those high pressure situations before means something that cannot be gotten any other way.

Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)
Big Turk replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
You mean other than smoking DPOY Surtain for like a 60 yard TD in the Broncos playoff game? -
Jeremy's problem is he has "Smartest Man in the Room" Syndrome, where he always has to be seen as the smartest guy in the room and everyone has to bow down to him and tell him how smart he is or he gets defensive.

Imagine being the highest scoring team in the NFL last year when you include the playoffs, set franchise record for points, become the only team in the history of the NFL to have both 30 rushing and passing TDs during the same year and still have people act like he doesn't know what he is doing on offense. Comical really.

Can only deal with the same BS year after year and keep a lid on it for so long. Probably just the final straw that broke the camel's back or the drop that finally caused the cup to overflow.

Can't say I blame him.

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
Big Turk replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
After watching the video of him and his first 24 hours in Buffalo I swear I saw him when I was leaving the Bandits game at the Courtyard Marriott hotel loading up luggage into a car with some other people(assume they were Bills employees?). Had the same hat and suit on...can anyone confirm if that was him or was he staying there? -
With the draft over it is time for the udfa thread

Or maybe he just couldn't play. He never appeared in a single NFL regular season game even tho he was signed by multiple other teams. -
Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?

Shakir was wide open in the endzone and Dawkins got shoved into Allen's left shoulder as he threw...he holds up for a half second longer and it was a TD. -

The other team gets paid to win too...sometimes they make a play. Unfortunately it just happened to be a perfect call at the perfect time. Maybe try not allowing a bad Kansas City offense to have a season high in points for a non-OT game. Probably still would start there. Eagles had 9 consecutive stops against the Chiefs to start the Super Bowl which is more stops than the Bills have gotten COMBINED in 4 playoff games against them. -

It's called diminishing returns. There is far more upside to be had on defense than on offense in terms of improvement. -

Certainly diversifies their ability to do things on short yardage situations. -

And we still scored 30+ points a game, tied the all-time NFL record for most consecutive 30+ points games and finished tied for 2nd all-time in the number of 30+ point games in a season. -
Allen's deep balls are mostly the "deep over" routes which he actually does throw exceptionally well. 25-30 yards running across the field and usually drops it in the bucket. But you aren't wrong on Allen's deep balls...sometimes they are beautifully in stride and then other times they get players injured like Kincaid when is literally so wide open he could have thrown up a punt to him and it would have been a TD and he forced him to try and dive for it and hurts his PCL for that kept him out several weeks... Can't say I've ever seen a player get seriously hurt on a wide open overthrow...that's a new one on me.

But we are still going to score 28+ points a game regardless -

Vancouver won 15-10, bring it on...they get to make a long trip this week.

The defense has always been a liability against KC in the playoffs even when it was top 5 in the NFL.
-
Maybe he would be out on Bond?

Bills 6th Round Pick (#1) : Dorian Strong - CB - VA Tech

Because they wanted to let KC get another very productive player that fell a ton into their lap -

Irrelevant. We won't know for 3-4 years. That being said I don't like that they completely ignored offense other than maybe a 3rd string TE and drafted 3 corners when they could have likely used a WR to help the offense. -
Man that game was stressful as hell last night! Lowest scoring game I can ever remember being at or even seeing a score line on... Bandits pulled off a 5-4 win even tho they were shut out the entire 2nd half. Super physical right from the get go, great goaltending from both sides... Vinc had 48 saves for the Bandits and was looking like Prime Dominik Hasek with several unbelievable saves, some in quick succession on rebound chances after the initial shot. Bandits scored their final goal on an amazing set piece play with 0.1 second left on the clock in the first half. Goal held up after a challenge and it turned out to be a critical goal as they would get stonewalled in the 2nd half. San Diego scored once and then failed on a 5-3 power play(in part because their guy took a penalty about 40 seconds in to make it a 4-3), then after the Bandits missed a glorious open net opportunity to seal the game, scored again with 1 second left on the clock to make it a 5-4 final. I don't think I have any nails left after that one...surprised I didn't start gnawing on my fingers 🤣🤣 But they survived and advance to the semifinals and a 3-game series instead of the single elimination game like last night, looking to go for a 3-Peat. Let's go Bandits!!

Bills 2nd Rnd pick in 2025 Draft : TJ Sanders - DT South Carolina

Notice the Bills went for very productive players in the SEC all 3 rounds. I don't think that was by accident. -

Seems like opinions vary a lot...Lance Zierlein, the guy who writes all the scouting reports for NFL.com, has a 2nd round grade on him and says he will be a plus starter eventually... https://www.nfl.com/prospects/t.j.-sanders/32005341-4e49-5668-67df-7d6378973c80
