  1. Good teams force players to earn their spot no matter where they were drafted. Bad teams give players spots based on where they were drafted rather than how they are performing.
  2. It's actually designed to do the opposite. Make the kickoff relevant again instead of an extended bathroom break or time to be scrolling thru your phone while the kickoff goes out of the endzone.
  3. Apparently we have seen the first way teams are now trying to get a real advantage by kicking the ball into the landing zone... Rams kicker has perfected what is similar to a knuckleball in baseball, where it has no spin and dips and swerves wildly, except with a football and it's oblong shape, the movement is more pronounced. This "knucklekick", effectively is designed to either cause the ball to dip and hit the ground in the landing zone before getting to a returner and then bounce strangely which forces a scramble to try and pick up the ball before actually returning it, or causes the returners to bobble and drop the ball frequently when it takes last second dips on them... Something to really look for around the league now as the Rams seem to be leading the charge with this and it's been highly effective...they have 6 kickoffs already where they have tackled the returner inside the 20 as a direct result of this tactic.
  4. I've got it...how about the Bills simple refuse to snap the ball on offense and see if they can set an NFL record for the longest game ever today? We can see what the ref does when he has to keep marking the ball half the distance to the goal when it gets inside their own 1 yard line. Will he break out the magic index card to measure? Why? I don't know, and I don't give a darn! Trying to logic with OP leaves you like this apparently...
  5. Logic isn't your strong suit. Please stick to tiddlywinks.
  6. Go rewatch the games in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and you'll have your answer. It appears not.
  7. There is no supporting argument in favor other than the one you made up in your mind that literally makes zero logical sense to anyone who ever played sports at any level.
  8. This might be the dumbest post I've ever read on here and that says a lot.
  9. Except Minnesota didn't trash middling teams for the previous 5 years the Bills have, especially at home
  10. Which is why Allen and this offense has scored 30+ points in 13 of his last 14 regular season games and the only one he didn't they scored 24.
  11. The Bills are equally happy to kick a team's ass whatever way they are asking them to do it. And equally adept at it.
  12. He was injured most of training camp and just came back so that probably has something to do with him coming along slowly.
  13. 2 hard to watch offenses...yikes.
  14. Teams do it all the time.
  15. And also a much worse team now and likely moving forward for the foreseeable future, especially once Stafford retires.
  16. They did, but they also basically turned the Lions into a super team with the pieces they were able to get from that trade. Should that not be a ding against them? Essentially ushering in an era due to their trade where another team will be far better than them consistently?
  17. Justin Herbert isn't even in the same conversation. He should probably work on doing better than struggling to score 20 points every game before his name even gets mentioned.
  18. There is no arrogance. The Bills won by their average margin in any game they play over the last 5+ seasons which an absurd almost 10 points. Which includes their losses. It's so far ahead of the next closest team, it's almost unfathomable. So it's valid to expect them to roll over these middling teams, especially NFC teams, because they do it so regularly.
  19. Not enough to average almost 3 PPG over that time more than the next closest team which was the Cowboys. That also include all the times the Bills essentially started running the clock by mid 2nd quarter or by midway thru the second half with big leads where they just took as much time off the clock as possible to shorten the game. Could easily have racked up lots more points if they wanted to be aggressive, and games Allen took the entire 4th quarter off and twice he didn't even play other than to hand the ball off before leaving.
  20. The defense during the regular season I don't care about...can it actually get better like the majority of great teams do in the playoffs for once instead of drastically worse is the question?
  21. White also had to avoid a pick on the Waddle crosser play as well.
  22. When you watch the highlights, you will just imagine hearing this with Chris Berman narrating and it being 90% Bills highlights...
