I said this dude would be a perfect scheme fit for the Bills but not even I could have foreseen the impact he has had.

Even if they do, they literally HATE the Steelers, a bitter division rival, so they will be playing as hard as possible to keep them out. Plus it's a home game for them. No different than the Bills destroying the Fins in a meaningless game resting half their players when the Fins could have gotten in the playoffs with a win in 2020...

Bills-Dolphins Week 18 for the Division! SUNDAY NIGHT GAME
Big Turk replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Have the Dolphins ever won a key matchup against the Bills since the Kelly era when both teams were good? Like in the playoffs or situation like this late in the year to decide the AFC East or a win and in scenario for one of the teams? I can't recall them ever having done so. -
Ed Oliver is turning into everything the Bills thought they were drafting with the #9 pick and then some.

Hatin' on the Bills then you way off... Talk is cheap, meet us in the playoffs... -
I have high hopes for him next year...I think he could really make a big jump to 800-900 yards. He definitely has a good skill set that is missing in other WRs.

Three Dolphins Starters Suffer Serious Injuries against Ravens

A good team when playing bad teams. -
Lamar in the playoffs is usually a far worse version of him in the regular season. Has he even had a single good playoff game performance?
-
Their backups could still beat the Steelers and I would half expect them too.
-
I think maybe we have seen the rest of the NFL catch up to the Daboll offense and perhaps specifically the things that give Allen trouble defensively. Wouldn't be surprised if we went in a different direction offensively in the off-season. Seems like we have been getting diminishing returns offensively each year since 2020.

Bills will probably be #3 or #2 seed if they win out
Big Turk replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. It's not the playoffs. Do it in the playoffs. Regular season games are still regular season games no matter how hyped up people want to make them. -
This was never somewhat probable. Every year teams lose games they "should" win down the stretch. This year it's happening almost too often. Virtually every team is losing these games. Except the Bills. Hopefully people at some point will remember how the NFL actually works and stop playing games in their head on "paper" and saying teams have "no chance" to win. Doubt it tho.
-
Yes because they are going to be cool with losing to Miami and then not bother trying week 18 because they are sure we will beat them. Do you realize how silly you sound? As if pro athletes are going to go thru this thought process.
-
Ravens dominating on D...good luck Fins.
-
Huh? It's the same situation. Are you dense? If the Ravens lead by a game going into it and Miami wins head to head they are even but Miami wins the tie breaker. Also this isn't really how it works in pro sports.

At best he is a 70% Allen that can't hurdle or truck anyone
-
No idea. But his record was 77-47 and Williams was 38-42-1. That's not all on either of them but it would be hard to argue for Williams with that huge of a difference. Hard to argue someone is a "good" QB when they not only have an abysmal completion percentage compared to their era but also lost more games than they won.

Yes in eras 15-20 years prior

Good for us, bad for fantasy teams

C'mon man this was not the early 70s or late 60s. It was the mid 80s. Marino was in the high 50s to mid 60s in same timeframe. Elway was at 47.5% his first season but finished his career at 56.9% Phil Simms was 55.6% Montana 63.2% Stop acting like this was a normal occurrence at that time...it wasn't...except among bad QBs
-
More than anything Josh isn't having defenders drop his INTs at the rates other QBs are. Allen has one of the lowest rates of turnover worthy plays in the NFL... Every week you see a guy who made a crazy INT on Allen drop a gift INT from one of the other QBs. Or have it overturned on replay like Mahomes did today but they manage to hold on while diving against Allen.
