  1. It's been greatly overstated. Mostly it will eliminate low level stuff like people who write documentation or do basic tasks like translation services, etc. People want to believe that suddenly in 5 years everything will be AI and all the software engineers will suddenly be out of a job. I use AI everyday in the form of GitHub Co-Pilot while writing code. It's valuable. But let's be real. It's not putting me out of a job anytime soon, if ever. It's very good at generalized tasks but not very good at complex ones, often sending you on wild goose chases for hours if you let it. Effectively I explain it like this. If you were using it as GPS, it would be great at getting you from Buffalo to Seattle by giving you generalized directions on what exits to take and what interstates to use. Once you get to Seattle it's not very useful at all at getting you to places within the city and you'd be driving around in circles for hours getting lost. More accurately, you could say that the developers who are using AI will replace the ones who aren't. Now THAT is likely accurate and has already started occuring as AI has helped developers become more efficient in what they do. Remember when robotic technology was going to replace every factory worker 25 years ago? How'd that turn out? Sure it replaced the most basic jobs and requires fewer employees now, but it is never going to fully replace humans. AI is very similar to this. Don't buy into the sensationalized hype of people who have no idea what's going on and don't actually work in the industry.
  2. People on welfare don't have much of a drive either and I'm sure they complain. But I guess they should get more money too?
  3. If you choose that career and KNOW the wage going into it, you don't really have a right to complain about it later. You chose to take that job out of high school and roll the dice, not go to college, not pay student loans, not deal with the headaches of all of that. I mean fast food workers are making $18+ an hour starting out now which is beyond ridiculous, I am pretty sure ditch diggers are earning more than what they are worth too
  4. This is not reality anymore. The job market has been improving steadily. I live here and make well into 6 figures. Your old beliefs that won't die from 30 years ago do not match up with any statistics that have shown what is actually happening here over the past several years. In fact, one of the reasons that Zillow ranked Buffalo as the hottest housing market in the entire US in 2024 was BECAUSE of the job market and it's considerable improving conditions. If people aren't making enough money it's likely because they are working dead end careers with no chance for advancement or careers not in demand. That's a choice.
  5. WNY continues getting love over the last few years in pretty much every study and report that's come out... Rochester ranked #2, Buffalo ranked #6 in most affordable cities in the world. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/home-prices-affordable-cities-cheap-housing/
  6. Been going on for thousands of years before Madonna was born. Not sure why this is surprising to people. It's called the world's oldest profession for a reason.
  7. It's called a transactional interest. He has money, fame and power and she has access to that and gains her own for being with him. Sex is performed as part of it
  8. Well, they effectively stole that money so they probably shouldn't be complaining.
  9. That's a lot for what they accomplished
  10. Said he was on the sidelines wearing a leg sleeve so likely something minor that might take a week or two to heal up
  11. This is just getting stupid now...5 years, $275 million and $200 million guaranteed?? For WHAT? WTF has he done to earn anything close to that? They are paying him as if he is the best QB in the NFL and he is fringe top 10 on his best day. I'd probably put him around 12th overall in the NFL. Tua's price tag keeps going up which is always a good thing to see...
  12. Yeah but at least he played for a while as a starter...what about players like Ja'Marcus Russell and Akili Smith who busted early?
  13. Pretty much foregone conclusions now, just have to work out offset language
  14. Not yet, but if he continues producing the way he has he easily could be...he isn't even really featured in the offense at all except in spots here and there and he finished 6th in the NFL in yards from scrimmage and 4th in rushing. The only 2 RBs in Yards from scrimmage ahead of him were McCaffery who led the NFL and Breece Hall from the Jets who was only 18 yards ahead of him in 4th place but had 18 more touches(rushes + receptions). The other 3 were WR's who all had more than 100 catches in Lamb, Hill and Nacua. Nacua finished 8 yards ahead of him in 5th. If he simply would have caught that easy TD against Philly, he would have been 4th.
  15. Jet's are just a dumpster fire...
  16. You been day drinking or something? 🤣
  17. Kinda reminds me of the Bills in 2020 when they were just decimating teams
  18. That's fair...that team still holds numerous records that have never been equaled and only recently did Boston pass them for most points in a season but had the benefit of extra points for OT wins they did not. Only lost 8 games the entire year. Imagine watching games already knowing your team was going to win before it started 90% of the time. Crazy.
  19. This dude is a trash human being if nothing else.
  20. According to WAR it was the 1928 A's in baseball... https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/27535188/what-greatest-collection-talent-ever-one-roster
  21. There are a lot of great teams but for me, it would have to be the Edmonton Oilers in the mid 80s. Basically had their own All-Star team with 7 future HOF'ers in their prime and several other very very good ones like Esa Tikannen and Craig Simpson. Gretzky, Messier, Coffey, Kurri, Anderson, Fuhr, Lowe, etc... Just dominant. And they could beat you any way you wanted to play. You wanted to be physical? They had some bad MOFO's on that team like McSorely, McClelland, Smith, etc...you want to run and gun? Good luck. They were more than happy to win games 7-4 or 8-5. I know some would say the Yankee teams with Maris and Mantle or even the ones with Ruth. Some might say the Steeler teams in the mid 70s. Some might say the Bulls of the 90s with Jordan or The Celtics or Lakers of the 80s... But for me, I don't think any of them compared to the sheer collection of top end talent the Oilers had.
  22. Talk about taking something and running with it based on absolutely nothing. I mean you gotta really really work OT to try and make this something about the Bills.
  23. I mean most of the places you work at probably think you are a loser too, but you still keep getting hired right?
  24. It's really irrelevant what he did in the past, it's only important what he does here and now. If the Bills can get him to play to his ability then we have a potential under the radar stud WR. If not, then he gets cut. No real risk for the Bills with massive upside potential.
  25. He has all the talent in the world and would easily make the roster if he plays up to his potential and likely would start opposite Shakir. Based off talent alone. The question is, will he be able to keep his head out of his rectum for the next 3 months to make it to that point? If he does, he is going to play a lot. If he doesn't, he likely gets cut out of training camp. Based off sheer physical talent he is easily the most physically gifted WR on the team(not even close) and one of the most physically gifted in the NFL. His RAS score is a ridiculous 9.98. His issue has been how hard he wants to work to realize that talent and what's between his 2 ears. Compare that to an 8.28 RAS for Shakir, 8.06 for Coleman and a 5.22 for Samuel. In the NFL, by comparison Ja'Marr Chase has a 9.82 RAS, Justin Jefferson a 9.69, DK Metcalf 9.66 and Tyreek Hill a 9.39. Just to show how much of an athletic freak Claypool is.
