AFC Best Case Worst Case Season Outlook July Edition
Big Turk replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just have a hard time seeing it because Tua is simply too limited physically and good teams will force him to beat them, and he simply can't. At least not frequently enough to win 13 games. When you have to hide your QB as much as possible, it doesn't say a lot of good things about his actual capabilities. The easiest way to beat the Fins is to force Tua to beat you. -
Will there be a surprise trade or cut before this season starts?
Big Turk replied to tomur67's topic in The Stadium Wall
almost always is. But how surprising is a different story. Sam Martin likely gets cut in a surprise move, but how surprising would that be? He signed a new contract extension but Bass has been much worse with his kicking since he took over. Since FG's are worth more points than yardage saved from punts over the course of a year, I would imagine if they find someone that Bass does better with he will be gone all things considered and Browning is supposed to have a very strong leg. -
Josh Allen: which ways will he struggle and shine?
Big Turk replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
When Allen struggles he still is better than more than half the other QBs in the NFL. -
It's a hard knock life for us...

Wonder if we are going to get some famous commentary like on the old Joe Montana football game...one time the QB got hit and fumbled and the commentary was "The quarterback hands off to the nose tackle..." 😂

Sunday Ticket lawsuit alleges price fixing by the NFL
Big Turk replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Whoever lead counsel for the NFL that wanted to go to trial versus settle is about to be out of a job...holy crap...he just cost them $14 Billion...probably could have settled for $2 or 3 Billion, maybe less. -
Von Miller ready to prove the critics wrong

I wouldn't bet against him...people who reach those type of high levels turn any sort of slight or doubt into huge amounts of motivation towards channeling it on the field -

But yet people go into business all the time and don't end up owing $35 million dollars when the businesses go south. -
Raiders HC Antonio Pierce faces civil judgements totaling 28 million
Big Turk replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh man...that's business 101...you never guarantee business assets with personal guarantees that open you up for liability outside the business itself. That's the whole point of having a business entity to begin with...to protect YOU PERSONALLY from this type of stuff. How the hell did his business attorneys allow this? -

The Bills have over $10 million in cap space- what is Beane’s plan?
Big Turk replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Surely they will be cutting some higher priced players once younger players beat them out that will save them some money on the cap as well. Jack Browning at punter is highly likely to unseat Martin for starters. -
More like it's like trying to have a conversation based on logic with a rock outside in my garden.

A player tied for #1 in the NFL in RB yards per carry with the MVP that year AP on over 200 carries and 2nd in yards per reception for RBs to only Danny Woodhead who was basically used as a receiving back only by the Patriots in a season is elite by any standard except one that makes no logical sense.
-
Yes, because he controls how much he was used or not used. Makes perfect sense. Perhaps you need to change your username to something that better reflects your logical reasoning abilities, or usually in most cases, lack there of.
-
Spiller WAS elite for that one year. Literally every time he touched the ball he was a threat to take it to the house. I don't care who you are, you can't average 6.0 YPC for an entire season with over 200 carries and not be elite. He also averaged almost 11 yards per reception that year which is outrageous for a running back. That's just you trying to downplay him due to his overall career. That's what is ridiculous. Cook has a much better overall skillset and vision as a running back. His weakness continues to be Pass Pro and some untimely drops, even tho his catch rate is above 80%.

Interesting Bills storylines to watch during training camp
Big Turk replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Milano has to watch out he doesn't get mobbed by single women at training camp while interacting with the fans...if I had a dollar for every woman I've heard who says Matt Milano is "hot", I'd be very wealthy. -
Yardage Predictions for Bills Receivers in 2024
Big Turk replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the Bills want to be able to exploit whatever matchup advantages they have and in the games where they feel it's in the run game(like against the Cowboys last year), they will likely look to be more run heavy. But agree, in general, the Bills know they go as Allen goes. -
Any insight with Paramount+ and/or SiriusXM for games?
Big Turk replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
Paramount, Parmamount, Paramount Plus! Or you could just stream it online and not have to worry about any of that. -
Yardage Predictions for Bills Receivers in 2024
Big Turk replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
He did actually...first 6 games he had 17 catches for 118 yards and the last 11 he had 56 catches for 555 yards. If you project his last 11 games over a full season it comes out to 86 catches for 935 yards.
