  1. Meh...come on man...if you weren't a mod I would have to say this is a troll post. 🤣🤣
  2. This was about Tom Brady, not Joe Brady...updated title to remove any ambiguity
  3. Wow...Mayfield dropping some info... Says the team was stressed out by Brady the last year especially and that if he told his OC Byron Leftwich that he didn't like a play during the week and it was called in a game that he would intentionally throw the ball at the receiver's or running back's feet to show him who was in charge/in control of things and his displeasure. Also appears it might be related to Brady not respecting him enough since he was 2 years older than Leftwich. Brady apparently isn't the squeaky clean guy the media tries to make him out to be... Wonder how much other stuff like this goes on that you don't hear about... Baker Mayfield suggests Tom Brady 'stressed out' team On the podcast, Mayfield said, "The building was a little bit different with Tom in there. Obviously, playing-wise, Tom is different. He had everybody dialed in, high-strung environment, so I think everybody was pretty stressed out." Mayfield went on to say, "You hear some of the stories about if he didn’t like a certain play call and he didn’t like it throughout the week and they still call it in the game, there might have been a throwaway on purpose or throwing it at the running back or receiver’s feet. There were a lot of mind games going on." https://www.yahoo.com/sports/buccaneers-qb-baker-mayfield-says-152739052.html
  4. this happens frequently in the NFL, not really news anymore...would actually be news if it DIDN'T happen at this point.
  5. Meaningless this far out. Wait til Monday afternoon to really have an idea what will be happening at 8pm at night with any real certainty, and then if it is still saying spotty showers, there still won't be any certainty since it could rain 20 miles away but not at all at the stadium.
  6. It never is against the Bills or other good teams. When do the excuses stop?
  7. Except in the playoffs unfortunately where they seem to score whatever they need to score.
  8. Yes it is because he is the limiting force on their offense. He is the 4th best player ON HIS OWN OFFENSE after Hill, Waddle and Achane. Those players carry HIM, not the other way around. That's why when teams take the WRs out of the game when they press coverage and get rough with them to disrupt routes and timing and clog up the middle he looks like hot garbage. Because he can't beat you in other ways. His toolset is limited. And while he might be great at a few things those few things aren't enough when playing good teams that can take those away effectively and force him to do something else to beat you. How is this even an argument at this point? McDaniel runs a flawed offense predicated on 'tricking people" in large part because Tua acts like handcuffs on it and he can't win when they just have to line up and beat someone without all that. Stats are stats. Plenty of bad teams to pile stats up against. When he plays good teams his stats are average to below average CONSISTENTLY.
  9. Yes their problem is Nathaniel Hackett.
  10. no
  11. huh?
  12. Both of those games could go either way, IMO. Green Bay won with Willis last week, although it was really more in spite of Willis...they ran for over 250 yards against the Colts. I doubt they can do that against a very good front in Tennessee. I would expect a lot of 3rd and long situations for the Packers and Willis has been mostly brutal in those situations in the games I watched. Then again, Tennessee has Levis who seemingly is good for one back-breaking turnover a week that turns the tide of the game and turns it into a loss. I would expect a low scoring game and one that could be decided by a FG or by a defensive TD. Hard to really pick either team with confidence against that point spread, but if I *HAD* to, I would probably take Green Bay because I simply think they are the better team and can force Levis into more mistakes than GB will allow Willis to make. I could see it being similar to the game they played last week where they beat Indy 16-10. I would be inclined to take Zona with the points in the other game especially since they are at home and have looked very good offensively. Lions are honestly a better team but they seem to be kinda meh thru the first 2 weeks of the year needing OT to beat the Rams in a game they probably should have lost and then actually losing to the Bucs at home and not being very good offensively scoring only 16 points. Honestly, I think Zona might win that game straight up, so I would probably take Zona. That being said, Detroit certainly is a better overall team, but they haven't been playing like it yet this year.
  13. This seems to shed more light on it... "One club executive estimated the cost of a premium has increased around 30% to 40% in the past five years. Per insurance industry sources, if a club wanted to insure $40 or $50 million of a contract, it would cost them somewhere between $1 or $2 million per year. The Niners' 10-year total in end-of-year adjustments is $54.3 million, double the second-place team's total. This number isn't only insurance credit, but representative of other savvy cap hacks that benefit teams when players get hurt, such as paying salary in the form of per-game roster bonuses. Philadelphia's $19.1 million over 10 years is good for sixth." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41274295/nfl-insurance-policies-star-players-aaron-rodgers-tua-tagovailoa-jared-goff-joe-burrow-christian-mccaffrey Allen makes the list for top insured players - Mahomes is likely in there somewhere but the value of the insurance isn't specified in his contract so it can't be used in the chart below:
  14. Yeah...it's not at all.
  15. Who is going to trade for a kicker on that contract for 3 more years? Where do people come up with this stuff? Another Madden GM?
  16. The update is both are out for Monday's game. Terrel is out multiple weeks and haven't decided whether to IR him or not. Probably waiting til last possible moment to decide to see how he is recovering and give them the best timeline from trainers at that point they can get. I don't know if the deadline is Saturday still or if they get til Sunday due to it being a Monday night game. IMHO from the pics in the locker room where he is embracing and hugging rather forcefully with that arm after the game and no sling, it's likely about the least serious pec strain you can have which is a good thing. Johnson I am assuming they believe is sooner than 4 weeks because they didn't IR him when they had the chance last week prior to the game.
  17. Could also be a big week for Cook catching the ball...he will likely be the biggest mismatch against man coverage downfield.
  18. Will all your rowdy friends be there on Monday Night?
  19. Also one of the all-time Classic PBP moments after the game ended: "Madden is on the field... He wants to know if it's real... They said 'Yes!' Get your big butt outta here! He does! There's nothing real in the world anymore!" 😂😂😂
  20. No ideas why the Bills aren't bringing in some of those good ex-USFL kickers...Aubrey is one of them and has missed 2 FGs in his career...
  21. "Blue on White, for Monday Night!" Got a nice ring to it, don't it?? Well...maybe not considering their record wearing them on Monday Night 😂
  22. You mean a player like this? Must have been the old "Bobby Wagner" audible that left him confused 😂 Side note... Ed Oliver at the 24 second mark is an all-time classic random Bills moment 😂😂
  23. Maybe Denver or Seattle? The only thing Sauce has been good at is holding this year. If they awarded All-Pro votes for the DB who gets away with holding the most he would be it this year. He has been getting away with murder on some of those plays. He also has been getting cooked by WRs...watched both Jet games and he hasn't looked good either game.
  24. It's only within the last 2 minutes of the half to prevent an intentional play like the "Holy Roller" that the Raiders won on from happening again and on 4th downs. "Fourth down or last two minutes If the offense fumbles the ball forward on fourth down or in the last two minutes of a half, only the fumbling player can recover the ball and advance."
