James Madison destroying North Carolina...what an embarrassment...currently leading 70-50 and scored a North Carolina record allowed 53 points in the first half against them. North Carolina has tried to come back but were in a 53-21 hole to start the second half. Both teams are playing no defense in what appears to be a basketball game at first glance based on the score... They both have over 600 yards of offense. James Madison QB Alonzo Barnett III is currently 22/34 for 388 yards and 5 TDs passing along with 13 carries for 99 yards and 2 more TDs Rushing. And they are at the UNC 43 and threatening to score again...but mercifully the final gun sounded and UNC can limp away to go kick their wounds after this thrashing that they paid 500K to get.

Bills vs Jags Game Week Thread - MNF

As of right now there appears to be a very low chance of rain between 10am - 11pm, somewhere in the 20% range so I wouldn't call that misbehaving. Any real idea of how things will be for that small of a window tho will to wait til Monday afternoon. -
Excluding JA, predict your impact player - Jags at Bills

Allen's legs will likely play a key role as well... Jags play the most man coverage in the NFL, over 50% of the time and that means their backs are turned to the LOS and there should be gaping holes for Allen to run thru... Don't be surprised if you see some "All Go's" out of 4 WR sets to take everyone deep leaving lots of green grass in the middle of the field for Allen to exploit. -
They say we have no "weapons", failing to realize that Josh Allen IS the weapon.

That's the Bills version of Ingram...the Jags version is Engram. 🤣 But yes, I agree that is a key loss for them...he is a weapon on the passing game. Very interested in seeing if Allen uses his legs a lot...Jags have played the most man coverage in the NFL this year so far, over 50% of the time...that usually leads to huge running lanes for Allen when defenders have their backs turned. -
Now show where Murray was and what was happening as Harrison was all alone. The All-22 will tell the full story not the cherry picked version you choose to go with.

Khalil Shakir and Kincaid Think both have a breakout game as the Jags play more man coverage than anyone and these two players are exceptional at separating from it. -
That roll out throw he made on the run on a rope down field to Collins while scrambling reminded me of a Josh Allen special. Cook is averaging 5.77 yards from scrimmage per touch since Brady took over, second in the NFL only to McCaffery over that time. If you have an elite player capable of that, it would be foolish not to give him the ball a lot. Hard to say he "missed him" when he was running for his life in the opposite direction and it appeared the defender saw that and left Harrison alone since Murray would not be able to make that throw...unlikely even Allen would have been able to based on where he was on the field and what was going on. Context matters.

Imagine a woman using logic instead of emotions to dictate thought processes... Every man's dream... -
For kids in Kansas... To those who speak Spanish... Doing crazy damage, so the whack get banished... Wonder if they will pack up in the middle of the night again and ghost them? 🤣

Look at Allen's efficiency metrics under Brady... Literally off the chart in terms of EPA when disrupted. Allen is a unicorn but Brady isn't forcing him to pull out his "do something only Josh Allen can do" card two or three times a drive anymore...he is only asking him to do it a few times a game and it's leading to a lot better offensive flow and a lot smoother looking offense. Bills still move the ball at will, they just don't rely on Allen making crazy plays to do it as much. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2024/9/20/24247411/buffalo-bills-oc-joe-brady-exploiting-achilles-heel-of-nfl-defenses-analysis

I could see the Chargers moving again. Los Angeles HATES them...when every game is a road game, it makes it tough to stay in a city long term.

Josh Allen, committed singles hitter (The Athletic)

If Allen maintains this mindset and philosophy and doesn't get impatient the Bills will be almost impossible to beat. Safeties are the RB of defense. Can plug and play different guys with not much loss many times. -

What about Casey Threehill? Yeah those 5 TDs by Burrow in 4 games in his Super Bowl year really showed swagger... That's a one game total for Allen in the playoffs. -

Jags are building a new stadium and will need a place to play for the 2025 or 2026 season... There was talk that the NFL was testing the Jags playing in London 2 weeks in a row to test how much of an advantage it would be for them to be there waiting while the other team has to come over on a normal week.. Unfortunately the Bills ended up as the team that got chosen to get screwed by the NFL for it. If the NFL thought it was OK, there was discussion that they would play their home games that season the stadium was being built in London and would either play all their home games first to start the seasona and then go back to Jacksonville as their base for the road games or do all their road games starting in Jacksonville as the base and then go to London for a few months and play all their home games aa the travel back and forth would be too much for them on a week to week basis. Not sure if that is still a viable option or not at this point.
