Blue jerseys, white pants, blue socks vs the Jags on Monday night.
Big Turk replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Blue on White, for Monday Night!" Got a nice ring to it, don't it?? Well...maybe not considering their record wearing them on Monday Night 😂 -
Maybe Denver or Seattle? The only thing Sauce has been good at is holding this year. If they awarded All-Pro votes for the DB who gets away with holding the most he would be it this year. He has been getting away with murder on some of those plays. He also has been getting cooked by WRs...watched both Jet games and he hasn't looked good either game.

It's only within the last 2 minutes of the half to prevent an intentional play like the "Holy Roller" that the Raiders won on from happening again and on 4th downs. "Fourth down or last two minutes If the offense fumbles the ball forward on fourth down or in the last two minutes of a half, only the fumbling player can recover the ball and advance."

If there is a consolation prize, they were able to bring Hunt back who was highly prouductive with them and only got released due to trouble with the law and getting caught on video doing bad stuff...which seems pretty common for KC. Wouldn't be surprised to see him tear it up. He can still play I am sure, and he knows the offense well and is a great fit. I mean his WR production last year was not great...no receiver had 1000 yards, not even Kelce.

Hahaha...yeah it took me a lot of tries to consistently hit the right part of the ball to get lift and avoid that. I played soccer for a long time and the strike point on a soccer ball versus a football is completely different.

His foot placement is halfway past the ball itself which is a pretty large overstep, I mean that's just terrible for a professional kicker to make that kind of gaffe...almost no chance of the ball going straight at that point. I don't know if he lengthened his steps on approach or didn't set up properly at the start...typically it's some variation of two big steps back and one to two smaller steps sideways--each kicker has what they are comfortable with and usually once they have a system in place, they don't change it. When you are experimenting with a new system or some sort of change to your setup this is that is the kind of stuff that happens because you haven't practiced it enough to be 100% consistent with it. This is a clip I found that demonstrates where "normal" foot placement is on kicks...typically your toe is lined up with the back of the ball, which then allows you to open up your hips and have your other leg act almost like a "swinging gate" thru the ball.

Bad QBs tend to make the OLine look far worse than it actually is.

McDonald's style? He deserves a break today 😂

Hold up a second...as Allen would say, "When he does something really good, we call him 'Himbo'" He is definitely Himbo after that performance 😂

Bills vs Jags Game Week Thread - MNF
Big Turk replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Interesting side note...not sure if it has been brought up yet in the thread as I haven't read thru all of it. Jags have lost their last 7 regular season games going back to last year while the Bills have won their last 7. Literally two teams going in opposite directions over that time. -

Strong statement in week 2. -
Seriously? Do people not learn from other instances of hiring random sports reporters to either be the coach or GM? Jeff Saturday with the Colts? Mike Mayock with the Raiders? Just because he went to Bonaventure and graduated doesn't make him fit to run the basketball operations. Mind boggling. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/nba-insider-adrian-wojnarowski-leaving-espn-to-take-over-as-gm-of-st-bonaventures-mens-basketball-team-150237562.html

Bills now have the 6th youngest starting lineup in the NFL...

Fins have the oldest in the NFL don't they? -

Or that they didn't have a John Brown type needed to be a complete passing attack -
Stafford is just old at this point...in his prime he was unquestionably better than any of those names you mentioned. Regardless, I don't think you are going anywhere in the playoffs with any of these QBs...Stafford mainly because of his age, not ability as he obviously won a SB once he escaped that iteration of Detroit

He is in the media. They are the ones voting, not the players. -

That was still under Dorsey who had a pedestrian run game and relied on Allen a lot throwing. I'm not saying they won't have similar issues, but I don't think Brady gets away from it...I think he continue to utilize the ground game and try and wear them down over the course of a game and mix in some shots and play action. In today's NFL it is beyond absurd the Bills have gone almost 3 full seasons between losing by more than 6 points. -
Until midseason when teams figure him out like always and he goes back to looking meh. That's the problem with being physically limited...when teams take something away, you don't have the ability to do something else.

So is it Tua or just that defenses wear out and get tired in the heat? -

Is it true? That's exactly what Daboll did and he had an MVP worthy season in 2020. -
Yikes...that was brutal after seeing the closeup replay... main thing I see is that it looks like his plant foot is too far in front which means when his back leg follows thru, it is going to naturally turn his body to the right due to momentum. This is kinda something basic that I would not expect to see from someone professionally kicking...this is something that happened to me when I first started kicking a football for the first month or so and gradually declined once you figured out where to put your plant foot and have your targets. Almost like he is in his head and experimenting with a new stance/approach and he doesn't have it down yet. That is something that happens when you get in your own head...you start trying to make changes to what you are doing and then sometimes those changes lead to stuff like this because you don't have the years and years of muscle memory and practice with it.

Josh is a system QB...whatever system he is in will look like genius and turn that OC into a hot name for a head coaching job. -
Heard on a show where they were talking about injuries that he will be having surgery and going on IR and the minimum time is 6 weeks for the injury to heal up after surgery but expecting 8 and if there is associated ligament damage like there often is when they get in that has to be repaired, it could be even longer than that.

Yeah apparently the University of Miami game that was played there Saturday was a disaster too for that. Yes he did. Almost impossible to hit a ball that poorly unless you slip, and it had the same trajectory and direction as a slip would.
