I'm down here in Charlotte as well and I fully agree... No way they pass on Luck if he comes out and they have the #1...In fact right now the Top 5 Picks would go to Carolina, Detroit, Cincy, Buffalo, and Arizona...I think only Detroit would pass on Luck if they got #1 Overall, but they would likely just Trade out to a Team that's going to take Luck anyway...

That was the exact description Joel Buchsbaum used when he wrote up Travis Henry...I'll never forget that for some reason...

I don't disagree that Fitz is good enough to win a Championship with, but I think at this point it's easier to imagine Fitz improving than it is for the Bills to build the type of Defensive Teams Chicago, Baltimore, the Giants, and Tampa Bay did in order to win a Super Bowl...Plus those Teams for the most part had potent running attacks...That's why I never like that argument...Give me the great QB first and it's WAY easier to build a Championship Team...Give me the average wont-lose-the-game-type guy and you're going to have to build one hell of a Defense, Special Teams and Running Game to win it all...It's not impossible, just a lot harder...

Fitz has most definitely earned the right to be The Bills Starter in 2011...Assuming he continues to do what he's doing now...And I think he will...I doubt very seriously any Rookie could come in next year and perform better than Fitz is right now...Plus one can assume Fitz will grow with Gailey and maybe even get better as the ground game and O-Line improve... That being said beyond 2011 I'm hoping the Bills proceed with caution, and I would not be opposed whatsoever to taking a QB high in the 2011 Draft...While Fitz is 9th in TD Passes this year he's also 10th in INT's. Surprisingly he's 27th in Completion %, and 20th in QB Rating overall...I know numbers never tell the whole story and I don't want to take anything away from Fitz because obviously he's playing well right now...But clearly it's become a Passers League and the bar is being raised everyday...At this point Fitz could conceivably go either way career-wise...And if you don't have a massive belief in Brian Brohm I think it's best to plan for the future at QB just in case... Because this could very well be a case where Fitz is playing so much better now than what we've seen with Edwards and Losman over the years that even if it was not good enough in the long run it's impossible to tell by comparison... I'm simply saying advance with caution...Hope for the best, and prepare for the worst...That's all...

All fair points... Most of us are old enough to remember some pretty decent Defensive Players in Buffalo...And even the younger ones have seen Lewis, Willis, and Urlacher...These top ILB's make plays in the backfield because they have a knack for diagnosing plays, getting off blocks, and knifing into the gaps...You may go a whole Game without seeing the same from a Bills LB...It simply does not happen much anymore... I think IF the Bills upgraded 2 out of their other 3 LB spots Poz could be serviceable on the Inside. But from what I've seen he's never going to be a great ILB...And that may be OK...You can't have a Roster full of Pro Bowl Players...The risk the Bills are flirting with is paying guys like Poz and Whitner as if they are top tier core Players, when in actuality their play overall is closer to average or slightly below...This is not going to leave enough cash to truly upgrade where it is needed with the type of talent necessary...It puts TREMENDOUS pressure to hit on each and every Draft Pick...That's why in the case of these two I'd rather see The Bills let them go an take a shot at getting a better Player in Free Agency or in The Draft...Cause we know what we have with them now, and yes I realize they are good locker room guys...But unless The Bills get a SERIOUS Home Town discount, based on their play on the field overall, I don't see why they would want either of them back...

Oh wow! Replaceable? Have you seen The Buffalo Bills at WR over the past decade? Unless you're talking about A.J. Green or Julio Jones I doubt Stevie is too replaceable...And no matter what happens the rest of this Season I doubt the Bills take a WR high in 2010 anyway...I admit Stevie is not perfect, it's easy to do so after yesterday...But the Kid gets open A LOT...And granted Fitz has been a big help, but that 90/10 split estimation is ridiculous...Come on now...

I'm sorry...I know I should not laugh at Maybin's missed opportunities...But that description cracked me up for some reason...I did not see Maybin till the end of that play...I'll have to go back and look at it again now...

Yeah...I'm shaky on that kind of logic too...I really don't believe all that off field crap has anything to do with what happens on Sunday...At least not most of the time...The Kid had a bad Game catching the Football...It HAS happened to the best of em'...He was running his Routes well enough...He was where he was supposed to be most of the day...He was just dropping the damn ball and he dropped the biggest Pass thrown to him so far in his young career...If he catches a Game winner next week, or has another big Game, this will be over and we can all get back to enjoying Stevie's VERY cool personality...He's just got to push through it and move on... I agree the off field stuff with Stevie just gives Folks the ability to point a finger...It don't mean squat though...

There are plenty of reasons to keep Bell...In terms of experience Bell is still WAY raw...I mean think about it...This Kid has played Organized Football for 5 years and he's starting at LT in the freaking NFL!!! That is almost impossible to imagine...And the Months he lost to the injury did not help him improve much either...Still, I think overall he's come an awfully long way in a short period of time...Admittedly he's got a ways to go still...But he's only 26... The Bills have holes on Defense and still at RT, so I expect we'll see Bell at LT at least till the end of 2011...And if he continues to improve probably beyond that...And realistically if Bell continues to improve at the pace he has since he started playing Football in the Fall of 05 at Northwestern State, he'll be a Pro Bowler in a couple Years...It could happen...

Well maybe not...But it sure as heck sounded and looked like it at times today...The first time Pitt hit a big play I did a double take at the crowd noise...Kind of made me wanna puke a bit...But I don't blame Bills Fans for staying away either...

No one has been tougher on Kelsay than I have over the past few years...But these last couple weeks he has come up with some big plays and...I can't believe I'm saying this...Kelsay's FAR from the biggest problem lately...Of coarse that could change quickly...

I'd rather have Fairley based on what I've seen of him, especially these last few weeks...That guy is a freaking beast...But if you can watch that tape of Quinn and not come out impressed, then you just don't know a Football Player when you see one...He's disruptive as hell, and even when he does not get there he's effecting the QB's throws...I see a little Bruce in that Kid...The way he moves in space and knifes the double-team...Who knows how raw he's going to be coming in but he's got more talent in his pinky than Maybin has total...I would not mind at all if The Bills ended up with Quinn...

That may be true...But until you get down here in the Dirty South you really have no idea...It's a WHOLE different world down here let me tell ya...

Lets keep in mind the chances of The Bills getting the #1 Pick in the 2011 Draft are already pretty slim... But... IF The Bills got the #1 Overall Pick and IF Andrew Luck comes out The Bills will Pick Luck and that's all there is to that...The way Fitz is playing leaves the rest of the QB's up for debate...But there is no way in hades The Bills pass on Luck...Zero chance...
