The Bills will never get fair return for Evans and what he brings to this Team (and I realize he's not Calvin Johnson, but his presence sure as heck helps Stevie) so it seems to me the Trade is stupid... Unless of coarse the goal is truly Andrew Luck ...

Poz was WAY overpaid...And Bell may still be a bit raw and inexperienced in comparison to guys who have played Football their whole life, but he is certainly not a sub-par talent...Bell's actually VERY talented athletically...The waiting-for-next-year mode is 100% due to the fact that The Bills Draft Picks, most of whom came before Nix, have not lived up to expectation...Let's see if that continues...I know #99 is going to have something to say about that sub-par talent thing...

I greatly doubt it...Especially now that it's crystal clear Lil' Donte is not getting the offers he thought he would get...The Bills are not exactly in the business of free-spending...I'm pretty sure that deal is LONG gone... But who knows with this bunch...

You're actually furthering the point some of us are trying to make...In away at least... No one wants to hear ignorant callers looking for their 15 seconds of fame talking out of their butts about The Bills...What we do want is Sports Talk Radio Hosts who honestly care and prepare to talk about the Home Team...Lining up Guests and experts to talk about the Home Team... This whole thing about being entertained while listening to Sports Talk Radio is fine...But truthfully it usually pertains to the AM shows more than the afternoon shows...Usually the afternoon shows are more hardcore Sports Talk...At least from what I've heard in other Markets...To me these afternoon guys are goof off 1st...Sports Talk second...And you're not the only one who is tuning out after a few minutes believe me...It's just for different reasons that's all...And I actaully hate that I'm obviously coming off as a stick-in-the-mud because that's actually the opposite of who I am normally...But I just think the Afternoon Show on WGR is greatly lacking on most days...Especially concerning Bills Talk...That's all...

Either you just don't get the point, or you work at WGR? Maybe a relative works there? What is it? It's Local Sports Talk...That's EXACTLY what listeners expect from Local Sports Talk...How much Football Talk do we want? You're on a Bills message board asking that question?... I've listened to plenty of Local Sports Talk in Cities that don't have close to the rabid Fan base The Bills have, and there is really no comparison to what they do at WGR in the afternoon...And every Station tries to entertain with off-topic nonsense as well...They just do it sparingly...And when it's humorous that's great...In moderation...But it should not be asking for too much to expect your Hosts to be dead serious about talking Local Sports...ESPECIALLY when there is the King of Kings, an NFL Team, in Town...It should be a layup...And it's not on WGR any given afternoon...I know the play of the Team over the past decade has made it harder for them...I get that...But if it's that hard maybe they should take Football Season off...I'm certain someone willing is standing by ready to talk Bills Football ad nauseam...

Exactly... And they know exactly what they are doing...Especially Schopp...They know what they want to talk about and what THEY are in the mood to discuss...And it really matters not what is currently going on with The Bills...They are Hockey guys through and through...And during Hockey Season that's fine (to the extent that it still should not take from Football if The Bills are still playing) I guess...But the other day was really a disgrace...Waiting for Football this long, Camp opening up that day, and we get a few hours of Movie talk...It's really insane...I've written the Programming Director...I hope the rest of you who don't like this garbage do the same...

Well... That's fine, and no question Woody could be right...But Nix/Gailey and The Bills are banking on young players like CJ, Moats, Troupe, Carrington, Dareus, Stevie, Woody, Sheppard, Williams, etc. to take this Team to the next level towards being competitive...If Nix/Gailey are wrong then...well...The Bills will be slaughtered in this Division...If they are right then The Jets and NE are going to have a much tougher time than anyone thinks...We'll see...

I don't know...Maybe it's because I just moved back and now I can listen in my Car instead of just streaming, but I expected more...I think they could make it (debate or talk about Buffalo Bills Football) exciting if they wanted to...But clearly they don't care about that...And don't get me wrong...Some of the stuff they do cracks me up from time to time...I just wish they would be more hardcore Football Talk guys...Especially when Camp starts...I know that's what I would do if I had their incredibly awesome job...Seriously...I know I'm nuts...But that is just about my dream job...Right behind Bills GM...I would kill to do what they do...So it kills me when it seems like they don't care... Right because Talk Radio topics are controlled by the callers... I mean...I know it happens from time to time...But for the most part the Hosts control, and sometimes (rightfully) monopolize the conversation...That's what Talk Radio is...In a Sports Town like Buffalo, on the 1st Day of Bills Camp, there is no way the conversation should be about ANYTHING other than Football...Especially in an established, old-school Market like WNY...And letting callers control topics is always dangerous...I've listened to Sports Talk for over 20 years now almost every day and I've never called in once...Many of the callers I hear on Sports Talk Radio both here and in Charlotte NC are complete idiots...Sometimes I wonder if they are really just joking...It's up to the Hosts to make good Talk Radio...The Afternoon guys on WGR are brutal at times...I mean REAL bad...It gets a little old...

Well if anyone does want to start one I'm in and I come REAL cheap... And all kidding aside...yes...I think I could do better than most of them at WGR...Though I am, and always will be, a Howard Simon Fan...

Well the geniuses can say what they want if that happens because I'll never hear it...I've already scouted the local bridges...I know one that is plenty high enough...I'll be long gone...

Free Agency just started...For all we know right at this moment The Bills could sign Clabo at OT, and Kevin Burnett at ILB in a day or two, and this Off Season looks pretty good all of a sudden...And I'm never going to complain about getting a player like Brad Smith...It helps us, hurts the Jets...He's a game changer in a lot of ways...I LOVE this move...
