  1. No not everyone...Because that would be over-generalizing...I was 100% fine with the FG there...You're at Home and you keep the momentum going by scoring points...By saying "everyone" you are making the assumption that everyone thinks exactly the same...Which to be honest is a ridiculous assumption, especially on this board...
  2. Just terrible...And an assist to Marrone for giving the Bengals even more momentum as if they needed it...
  3. He's not comfortable at all...He's one-armed, out of practice, and uncomfortable...
  4. There you go...Knew it was coming...Bengals getting HUGE plays every drive...WTF is going on with this Defense? At Home too?
  5. Some big holes for Cincy's run game...
  6. Maybe it's just me...But I hate that call...I would prefer to take the points at home and tie the game...Keep the confidence going and the atmosphere pumped up...At least this was early in the game...But I've always been of the mind to take the points at home and gamble more on the road...
  7. That was a nice catch by Green...Those things are going to happen...But those big chunk plays are going to kill this Defense...They better buckle down and get more disciplined because Cincy is a team that will kill you if you make mistakes...They have talent all over the field on Offense...
  8. Wow! Very nice...Though that roughness call was a bit ridiculous...I don't think they needed it anyway...Great drive...
  9. Thought the same thing...Major wishful thinking there...
  10. I mean...I understand that and all...I know the rules...But again, it's technicalities...He could have signed the tender, like most do, and had a full off season with the teammates he claims to care about so much...I think that gesture would have gone a long way towards Byrd getting what he wanted in the long run...But he (or his agent) wanted to make a point...Just like a holdout does...Then on top of it the PF issue comes up after he misses all that time...It's tough for me to have any consideration for Byrd's rights beyond the fact that he pushed his agenda within the rules...I understand it was his right to do so...I still think it was petty...He pretty much lost me as a fan right there... Sure he had every right...Everybody has the right to be a d-bag if they want to...
  11. All due respect Bro but that's agent and FO speak...The truth is of all the tagged free agents who did not get a long-term deal over the past two years only Byrd and Dwayne Bowe did not sign their tenders almost immediately after the deadline...Add to that the fact that Byrd held off signing his tender 3 days longer than Bowe did and you have a guy who was basically creating his own holdout for effect-sake...Just because it's "technically" not a holdout does not mean it was not the exact same thing a a holdout...
  12. Exactly... It would be nice to know we've got the QB position locked down for a couple years...I know that's a stretch not knowing how Lewis will perform, and not seeing enough of EJ yet to make a complete decision...But it is possible EJ and Lewis could be the near-future at QB for the Bills...I do have a feeling this kid can be a decent back-up if given the opportunity...One thing is certain...He's light years ahead of Tuel at this point in time...
  13. I think more than anything Geno and EJ have already shown they have legit potential as starting QB's, and both were worthy of 1st round picks...Geno's slide was obviously due to the attitude questions...He's got the ability and the tools for sure...It should be interesting to see how Glennon does as time goes on...But the fact that there are already 3 starters at QB from this Draft class has to have some scouts surprised...
  14. Agreed on the OC aspect...I think Marty deserved a game ball vs. the Bills...Geno was reeling from all the turnovers in NE and Mornhinweg called an awesome game...I'm not trying to bash Hackett either...MM just has worlds of experience and success as an OC in the NFL...Hackett is just starting... There were PLENTY of folks on this board that wanted Geno...He had a ton of support here...I liked EJ a lot too...Probably a little more than Geno because I like EJ's make-up overall...But I was OK with the Bills taking Geno halfway through his Sr year...And my opinion never changed about him...There were tons of Bills fans who felt the same way...
  15. I HATE seeing the Jets win... But... Half the remaining people in my survivor pool just got KTFO... And Geno is looking better and better...Can't knock this performance...
  16. Exactly... I was never a Fitz fan as a starting option...As a back-up behind a strong starter...OK...But not a guy to challenge for a starting position...Before he came to Buffalo he was basically the same guy with less experience...Then he lucked out to have Gailey who was, at the very least, able to hide some of the warts...But in the NFL you can only hide so long, and Fitz now has a pretty decent book written on how to stop him...And he's always going to throw a few to the other team...He's always been streaky going back to his days in Cincy, and sometimes those streaks can go over multiple games...But he's nothing more than an average to below average back-up QB in the NFL ability wise...Brains wise he's top 10...But he cannot translate that intelligence to the field because he's just not that great an athlete overall...And he has a below average arm...
  17. Great...I doubt either is good enough to be honest...And they are in for one hell of a test Sunday...That Bengals D-Line is absolutely no joke...
  18. You want to be objective and you start off this way?...About a team that is 2-3 but should be at least 3-2 right now if their starting QB only ducked out of bounds a split second sooner...A team that in all 3 losses was ahead or tied in the 4th quarter? And the same team that has been playing without 4 of their top 5 DB's for a good chunk of those 5 games...A total train wreck? Really? I can be as negative about some aspects of this organization as anyone...I've proven that here hundreds of times...There's a bunch of things they could have, and should have, done better...But to call the Bills a total train wreck? No way...
  19. Exactly...For that reason alone cutting Jackson before at least the first cutdown was a HUGE mistake...Add that to the fact that Tuel was a UDFA coming off a College career that saw him get hurt a couple times as well and...Well...You know...
