Trent Richardson had 60 more carries, and 8 more receptions than CJ last year for a combined 386 less yards, and he's on the list...That's an average of 4 additional touches per game, and Richardson had no where near the competition for PT that CJ had...So I really don't see why, considering this, any player would hold CJ's "part time" status against him... Besides...Anyone...NFL player, or casual observer, who cannot understand that CJ was one of the top 100 NFL players last year has no business voting on such things...Because the kid was absolutely electric on the field...And he made some very, very good Defensive players look really bad at times...In fact IMHO there is no question he was a top 50 player last year...He was awesome...And at times he was asked to carry that Bills Offense on his back...He was seriously good in 2012...

If CJ is not on the list it renders the entire thing useless in my eyes...Because there is absolutely, positively, no doubt that CJ Spiller is one of the top 100 players in the NFL...It literally cannot be questioned... And like a previous post said...If this list includes Trent Richardson and leaves CJ off...well...I can't imagine that could be possible...But if so...It's a joke...

Life of a Bills fan - great YouTube video
KOKBILLS replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I usually go through half my Bills wardrobe by the end of the 1st Half of each game...I refuse to wear anything that is bringing bad luck on that day...I also have a sick ritual about when I slip on and slip off my Bills slippers during the game...Most games I'm standing for 80-90% of the game...Last year I decided if I was going to be up so much moving around I might as well do some free-weight work...That helped I guess... I have serious issues... -
Why are Lawson and Branch missing?

Slightly off topic...But did anyone notice how bright red Jerry's face was during the Draft? I saw a couple interviews with him on Day 2 and he was REALLY excitable as well...So his face was bright red and he was talking gibberish...It was so funny...

They Drafted Travis Fredrick at #31 overall...That's all you need to know about that scouting department...I have close friends who are die-hard Cowboys fans...Every bit as die-hard as I am with the Bills...And they absolutely despise Jerry as a GM, and the Cowboys scouting department as a whole... I would not pay any attention to what the Cowboys have on their board...Who cares? What have they done lately? Oh boy...here we go... Exactly...

Official OTA/Minicamp Thread (May/June)
KOKBILLS replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What is ridiculous about it? You think he's closer to being an All Pro? Maybe I went to far by saying he's closer to being out of the league...But he's light years away from being an All Pro...Far, far away... You really think The Bills are asking him to come in 22-30 lbs heavier than he was at his Combine? Really? -

Agreed... And though I think the personal issues had to have some effect on Marcell on and off the field, I also believe the weight is having the biggest effect...And I think those of you who believe it's OK for him to blow up and play NT are kidding yourselves...He may be athletic enough to get away with it some, but this is the NFL...And IMHO, to be elite and live up to the #3 overall pick, Dareus needs to be between 315-325...Great athlete or not, the more extra weight you carry the more gassed you're going to get...Especially vs the rapid-fire NFL Offenses that are becoming more and more prevalent these days...And Dareus is simply not a natural NT... JJ Watt at 6-5 came in to the league at 290 and currently plays at about 295...Like Dareus, Watt was a beast coming in to the league...Unlike Dareus, Watt has maintained his weight and turned in to one of the best D-Linemen in the NFL...And please for the love of God don't give me the whole Dareus is still so young he's just growing into his body bullcrap...340 plus pounds is a ton of weight to carry on a 6-3 frame...And when Dareus was 318 he was testing out in the elite category at just about everything...Keeping his weight around where he was at the Combine, while improving his strength and conditioning through NFL training would likely have produced an All Pro D-Lineman by now...Dareus is closer to being out-of-the-league than he is to being an All Pro...Not that I think he's going to be out of the league soon or anything like that...But he's no where near an All Pro...Not even close... I've watched Dareus more intensely than any Bills player since we Drafted him...I really want to see the kid reach his massive potential...I think he's a really good guy at heart...Even though there is no way for me to know 100% what his current weight is, I do know I've never seen him "appear" to be as heavy as he looked in that OTA film yesterday...And we all know for certain he has been over 340 before...So...I'll let y'all speculate on how heavy he is now...I'm simply going to say he's never going to be the player he needs to be unless he can get back down to 315-325...And that's just my opinion... -

There are some things I know, some things I don't know, and some things I can make an educated guess about concerning Dareus...One thing I know for certain is that Dareus was 318 at his Combine where he absolutely tore it up...He looked like one of the more athletic DT's (or 3-4 DE's) to come out in some time...A wicked combination of brute power and speed... It's also well known that Dareus was over 340 by the time he showed up to his 1st Camp with The Bills... Now what I don't know...I have no idea what his weight has been since that 1st Camp...He's looked heavy to me...But I don't know for certain... What am I guessing? Well...I'm guessing Dareus has not sniffed that 320 area since he's come to The Bills...I doubt he's been under 330...And it's JMO...But I think that has had a lot to do with why his play has suffered at times...Because he was an absolute beast when he was 318...That much I know... So anyway...It's my humble opinion that Dareus is best suited to be a 320 lb DE in the 3-4...I'm guessing that if in fact the Bills are asking him to beef up and play NT it's because they have given up on trying to get his weight down...It's just a guess though... -

Honestly I noticed the same thing about Dareus today...And I'm not trying to start something or being a wise-ass about it...I'm really not...But I saw that tape from today's practice and thought right away that he looked fat...I was wondering if anyone noticed the same thing...He looks 350...And I admit it could just be the camera or whatever...But he looked awfully big to me...And if so, I don't think that is a good thing for Marcell's game... I really worry about that kids weight...I don't think he can be as effective carrying that kind of weight...And I also don't think he's a NT...But maybe that's just me... -
Geno a thug?... You do know he's an artist right? He may very well be a moody, self absorbed brat...To be honest I have no idea...But a thug? No way...

Warren sapp slams J Byrd on NFLN
KOKBILLS replied to taglientep's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well...Considering the fact that Byrd was a 2nd Team All Pro I'm pretty sure he's a little more than simply a ball hawk... You don't get on the All Pro Team easily...It's not the Pro Bowl...You have to earn that... -
We took two WR's because we let Jones and Nelson go, Brad Smith is not a full time WR, and Easley has done next to nothing in the NFL...I don't think it had anything to do with TJ Graham and his periodic struggles as a Rookie at one of the tougher positions to play coming in to the league...Plenty of Rookie WR's struggle...But Graham also got open deep on more than a few occasions only to see the ball under-thrown, or sail over his head...So...Tough to fully evaluate the kid under those circumstances... The Bills needed an influx of talent at WR in the largest possible way...They were paper thin at a position you normally line up at least 3...I'm not saying Graham did much to impress in 2012...But I don't think bringing in the youngsters was an indictment on him whatsoever...

Brian Urlacher annouces his retirement from the NFL
KOKBILLS replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly... And I'm not trying to take anything away from Urlacher who was obviously an excellent NFL LB...But I can't for the life of me understand how the hype machine immediately starts talking about 1st Ballot HOF concerning Urlacher, yet Cornelius Bennett never even gets mentioned for the HOF...They were different players no question...But I'll take Biscuit, especially in his prime, any day over Urlacher...And admittedly that may be just me... -
Do you actually watch the games, or do you just comment on the statistics?

Alex Carrington was arguably one of the best players on that entire Defense last year (though admittedly in a reserve roll), and I'd say he would have to have been #2 behind McLovin for The Bills Special Teams MVP last year...So I'm not sure why he would be on a list like this...He's already pretty darn good... I'll go with other and TJ Graham...He's got one year on the Rookies, which is a factor...He's got serious potential and speed...And now he's got a QB who can get him the ball deep...

Mario Williams: no love for
KOKBILLS replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You need to actually read her side of the story, from the start, if you're going to make comments like that...Keep in mind her story came out in public a week AFTER Mario sued her for the ring and the story was on the news in her hometown. It was also made public with the news of the suit that Marzouki had (allegedly) spent lavishly at Williams expense, and that he had voluntarily spent a heap of cash to keep her...Making her look pretty bad in the process ...It was only then, when she basically had no choice but to defend herself, that we heard from Marzouki...Up until then she was quiet as a mouse... Let me help you...http://www.khou.com/...-207274921.html At least wait to find out who is telling the truth before you assume she's just another classless b**** ...Maybe Mario's story is true...Maybe her's is...No one knows at this point (though she does claim to have records, witnesses, etc...)... Williams would not be the first guy with money to d*** over a woman if her story is true...And he certainly would not be the last... Just saying... -

Marcel/Kyle rated #2 DT tandem in the league
KOKBILLS replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could be... What is the use of disrupting a play as a DT when they play goes for big yards anyway? Are you really disrupting anything if the offense is still converting? As to the ranking linked in the OP...This has to be the very definition of "on paper." Because the on-the-field results are less than average... -

Mario Williams: no love for
KOKBILLS replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or just maybe she's not quite the b*&%$ the original report made her look like...Just maybe a man with mega-millions could be in the wrong too? Like...maybe a guy who just singed an $100 million dollar contract wanted to be free to do whatever he wanted to do despite his engagement and promises? Because that certainly never happens...Right? Well...admittedly they do usually marry them first...So I'll give Mario the nod there...At least he was man enough to break it off before he married her... I'm not saying there's anything wrong with breaking off a relationship that is not working either...But if you're going to file a suit like Mario did you best be ready for the other side of the story...Boys will be boys...There's nothing wrong with what Mario did...But deciding to drag this girl through the mud publicly afterwards may come back and bite him big time in the court of public opinion... Just love to hear the Neanderthal view on things...Always realistic and well informed... -
Just wanted to say that all of you who believed that the writing was on the wall all this time, and that Nix was all but a goner after the Draft...Well...You were right! Good job!!! There...I said it..
