  1. Chips can be good too...Tom Brady still has one the size of Everest...Thurman had a pretty good sized one...It all depends on the individual and what they do with it...Chips can cause some serious positive motivation with the right mindset...
  2. I was thinking about this yesterday... I don't think bringing in Woodson would have any effect on the Byrd situation at all, because at this point of CW's career he's not a 3-down DB anyway...What it would do is take away time from Duke Williams (I just noticed this as I was writing it...But another Williams on our D?...This has to be some kind of record!), and Ron Brooks... That being said, Woodson is one of my favorite all time players (I'm a die-hard Michigan fan)...And I think, even at this stage of his career, it would be a HUGE upgrade to the Bills secondary as a whole...I would love to see the Bills bring in Woodson...But I know they won't...
  3. http://audio.wgr550.com/a/73481825/4-12-john-murphy-interview-with-mark-anderson.htm And in response to the OP...Kolb over Jackson...And switch Branch with Dareus (Branch to NT, Dareus to DE)...Also...I'm not so sure about Duke Williams at SS...Instead I think the Bills would like to see him step up and win the Nickle CB job...I think Meeks is the sleeper at SS behind Searcy...Otherwise it looks pretty good...
  4. Again...Not my kind of music whatsoever...And no offense to Hill who can definitely sing...But even still...You're take is ridiculous...Just because Underwood does not show it in every top 40 song you may hear, it does not diminish the fact that the girl can flat out sing... And personally, as a Hard Rock guy who was in in first garage band at 15, I pretty much despise American Idol and everything it stands for in the music industry...But that being said, I'm not going to deny that it is the single hardest talent competition to win on this planet...And there is absolutely no way anyone can win that thing on looks alone...It takes real talent...Don't kid yourself...
  5. I guess the EJ pick could make me an emotional mess... If I was a menopausal woman... I kid...I kid...
  6. Jimbo, Bruce, Thurman, and Andre... Can't put OJ up there because...well...just can't do it...
  7. 100% agree... Did not like the tone of that article whatsoever...And if you knew nothing about Football, and just read that article, you would think Williams stunk-out-loud on the field last year...And we all know that was not the case. Especially after the wrist healed...
  8. I certainly don't like her music...Just far from my thing... But no-talent? That girl can flat out sing...I give credit where it's due...She's a very, very gifted vocalist...
  9. I honestly don't think it's close... LT by a bit when you're grouping all LB's... I think if it's Inside guys only you have Ray, Lambert, and Butkus...I can't see how anyone could think one of those 3 was much better than the other two...They were all great...But none of them was as good as LT...
  10. Exactly...And even though that was the question asked it's only 51 to 44 in favor of Kolb...Ask the question "Who do you want" and I'm guessing EJ wins pretty easily...
  11. Agreed... I think they want Hairston to compete with Pears for the RT position...I'm going to be interested to see if Marrone can get him to reach his potential there... I'm just guessing, but I think the Bills would like to see Sanders step up and grab the starting LG job...He's (Sanders) going to be on John Murphy's show tomorrow night...So hopefully we'll get an update on the injury situation and whether or not he's going to get a look inside...
  12. I think with Robey and Vernon Kerney the Bills brought in two very interesting UDFA's at CB...Should be interesting to see who separates from the pack...
  13. I'm not going to read back...But I was wondering how we got to a Fitz discussion in a thread about a LB vs LB trade... Not that I'm surprised of course...Just wondering...
  14. Carrington is the odd man out? What in the world would give you that idea?...He perfectly suited for the DE position in a 3-4...As a depth player Carrington can fill in at just about any spot, other than NT, in any front...He brings the versatility this coaching staff craves...And he's one of a very few young players on the Bills Defense that has actually shown improvement over the past 2 seasons...He's also a very good Special Teams contributor... And like No Saint pointed out, Anderson is an OLB in the new Defense...He said so himself...
  15. You noticed that too huh? "Old Skoal"
  16. I would be in favor of trading KW mainly because he's getting older and he's already had some major injuries... But the other two...No thanks... Unless Bryd is just asking for the moon, and does not want to play here...Which I doubt... There is no way I would trade Stevie...Period...
  17. That was a heck of a call on Floyd my friend...Just about everyone and their Mother had him penciled in at #3 overall...You definitely saw something that many scouts saw as well... Good job!!!
  18. Oh boy...That did not take long...
  19. I'm far more excited to see what CB Vernon Kerney brings at 6-2 with 4.49 speed...If he can keep showing well vs tougher competition he'll be a steal and a half...
  20. I think that's exactly what they brought Branch in here for...Because I agree...Teams will run right at us with Dareus or KW in the middle...No question about it...And chances are they will have success running it just like the past two years...IMHO neither is an NFL NT, and until they can anchor a D-Line that is at least average in stopping the run I'm not going to back off that assessment...I realize better LB play will help...But as a pure NT I think both Dareus and KW are playing out-of-position...And that's just not good...
  21. I agree...Branch and Troup are the only pure NT's the Bills have...And Dareus should be a beast as a DE in the 3-4...Like he was at Alabama...I think we may see the base front 3 as Dareus, Branch, and KW...I think Mario will be outside in that Demarcus Ware-type position, with Anderson at the other OLB spot...But they are going to be cycling in front 7 players like crazy I imagine...It should be very interesting to see what Pettine can do with this bunch...
  22. You are... I agreed with his take on Nassib...I was only adding that, in general, the Manuel pick may have led to further the QB's slide in general...My comment was more about the QB class in general than Nassib specifically...
  23. I agree with this take...And I also have a feeling...and it's just a hunch...that the teams like Oakland, J-Ville, Philly, Tampa, and Arizona who may have taken a QB in the 2nd Round, had their sights set (at least some of them did) on Manuel...I think once EJ went at #16 those teams immediately changed their strategy and decided to wait it out...
