I'm guessing CB in the 4th...The Bills are overdue to take a DB...

While I agree with this take Ryan... Up to this point at least I believe it is a physiological impossibility...

If "we're" is Bills fans then I would say it's 50/50 at best Joe...There are plenty who don't believe in EJ...I'm on the fence myself...But if "we're" is the Bills FO I think it's 100%...I think they've made that abundantly clear...That's all I'm trying to say...

Tuel is 23 and Lewis is 26...The can still get better...Though I'm not predicting anything of the sort...But it is possible...Stranger things have happened...They're still on the roster right now...I think that is the current plan until it changes... We'll see soon enough... Like I said before...You can argue what they should do until the cows come home...And you may very well be right...There is absolutely no question that EJ has not proven he's going to be great in this league...But up to this point they have shown zero interest in bringing in another QB...And I mean zero as in 0.00...No Free Agent visits...Not even a token vet back-up...No pre-Draft visits...Not a single one...Everything...and I mean everything...they have done has shown they are disinterested in bringing in another QB...They've yet to show interest in simply bringing in a QB to challenge their back-ups let alone EJ... They have 4 more picks tomorrow... We'll see what happens... But my guess is they don't take a QB, and we have a hundred million posts over the next few months about who they should have taken in the 4th-7th rounds... And again...I'm not saying they should not take a QB...I really like McCarron and have for years now, and I think Savage may develop as well...I just don't think they will take a QB because I don't think they want to in the least...

No question a LOT of Bills fans feel the jury is still out on EJ... But I find it interesting that some folks are ignoring the fact that the Bills as an organization have completely refuted that argument through not only their words...but their actions by adding the Williams' at WR and LG, and Drafting Watkins along with Kouandjio...If the Bills take a QB I'll be really surprised...Not because I believe so strongly in EJ's ability to be great...But because the Bills have been steadfast in their claim that EJ is the man and that's all there is to that...And I don't think they want to do anything to confuse the QB situation this coming year...They want to hand EJ the keys and hope for the best while continuing to develop Thad Lewis and Tuel behind him...I don't think they want to show even the slightest hint of doubt in EJ...And Drafting a QB...later round flyer or not...will add fuel to the doubt...I just don't think they want anything to do with that kind of thing this year...And they have made up their minds...

I'm really interested to see what Marrone can make of Kouandjio... I just think if you assume the knee is going to be OK the sky is the limit for the kid as an NFL RT... I know Mayock compared him favorably to Loadholt, but I think Kouandjio's upside is WAY higher...I watched a ton of Loadholt when he came out because I knew he was a possibility for the Bills, and I watched a ton of Kounandjio the last two years...And despite his raw numbers in shorts, Cyrus looks like a much better athlete to me with the pads on...The thing I loved when I watched Kouandjio at his best was how fluid and in control he can be for a man his size...He's just does not look as slow as he is when he's on the field...He moves great...Watch the LSU tape this year...He moves so smoothly into the 2nd level on some plays... He's going to have to get a bit stronger, but this kid is a monster...He'll get stronger when it's his job to do so...The trainers will see to that...I just see him as being a Cordy Glenn-type steal in the 2nd round as long as he stays healthy... This is not a knock on Brown at all...But Willis is an amazingly freaky athlete as an ILB...Brown's raw numbers are no where near Willis'...If he ends up being half the player Willis is we'll all be thrilled...

Interesting... Mayock and Davis said they liked him a lot more after they watched more tape...They said he's more than just a downhill thumper... It's so strange to me...In the first 3 Buddy years I never felt like I knew what they were up to...But these last two years have been far more stable and clear to me...Last year I wanted EJ and Woods...They got EJ, Kiko, and Woods...This year I wanted Evans and Kouandjio (though I fully admit I did not think he would slide that far...)...They got Watkins and Kouandjio... For better or worse Whaley and I seem to agree a lot...I think Whaley should be concerned about that...

I'm really surprised by that pick...Carolina has 2 stud DE's...Their GM warned the Charlotte media he would not be afraid to take a DE if the right guy slid...But goodness they have other needs...I'm really surprised they did not go Morgan Moses there... I like him as well...In the weeks before the Draft he seemed to be getting more and more attention... Greg Gabriel felt he could get into the bottom of the 2nd round if there was a run on DB's...I think Crichton and Gaines are the names to watch now...

I'll believe the guy with 29 years of scouting in the NFL all day over any of these TV guys...Gabriel had him rated at #31 overall... http://www.nationalf....html&player=17 He does not play slow...And yes he only did 21 reps at the Combine...But watch him on the field...He's a mauler...He had no problem with strength on Saturdays for the most part...His biggest weakness is getting beat by little guys on the edge...
