This is true...And that's all before they get to the Post Season and they REALLY get picked apart... What we should know is one of the top guys will fall back and one will come out of nowhere to crack the top 15 or so... I do feel this year is a little different...I've never seen so many potential (the dreaded p-word) premium QB prospects...Now...They could all flame out by next April...Maybe a few don't come out...But on the other hand if most of them play well, and they all come out?...This is going to be nuts!

I will say this much...Intended or not Miller looked real good tonight...And he looked pretty good in the limited plays I saw from him in the Philly game... So maybe they got what they wanted with this Ducasse thing...But that dude flat out sucks...

Well... That's all fine...Everybody has an opinion and I'm certainly not going to say an ex-player doesn't know a thing or two... But does this guy seriously think this Bills roster was going anywhere as it was? Before the trades? And interview the players about the direction of the Franchise? Most of them won't be here anyway when the plan is complete a few years down the road... Here's the message they are sending to this Bills fan of almost 50 years... They have a plan...You may not like it...You may not agree with it...It may or may not work...But they have an actual plan to build a contending team down the road...In the meantime they are going to try to win...But the reality is that may not happen yet...And they know it... They have 12 picks combined in the 1st-4th rounds in the next two NFL Drafts...One of those picks next year WILL be the next try at a Franchise QB...Take it to the bank...Those 12 players, the 2017 Draft, and a few others will be the core of this team moving forward... They are going that route...Will it work? Who knows? But I respect it...And I'm about as skeptical of all things Bills as they come...But I'm not even close to being turned away...I think that part of his opinion is the least accurate...And I think most Bills fans understand what they are trying to do, whether they like it or not...Maybe these "turned away' fans loved that moron Marrone, or the blowhard Ryan? Maybe they thought Whaley was a genius while he was trading away Draft picks like they were the plague for the likes of Ragland and Watkins?...Why turn away now when there are actually folks with a modicum of intelligence in charge that have an actual plan to get us a freaking QB?...I mean...They won't be perfect...I get that...But at least they can see things are screwed as-is...And they realize it's going to take some serious effort and a Franchise QB to turn this thing around... I'l wait a while to pass judgement...

Exactly... I think Peterman is going to be our modern day Reich...Smart...Good teammate...Helpful...And can win a game or two as a starter when needed...

This is all true...So I think it's important to at least acknowledge that Beane and McD have accumulated 12 picks in Rounds 1-4 over the next two Drafts...And that's just so far... It's going to be tough to swallow over the next couple years...But hopefully by the 2019 season we will begin to see the fruits of it...

None of the current decision makers had anything to do with that pick, or that trade up... And a LOT of people feel what made the Bills look dumb was to give up two 4th round picks to trade up for a 2-down, 3-4, ILB...Then they switch back to the 4-3 and he's not really a fit at all... To boot, that same ILB is coming off a major knee injury and was not going to play...Nothing against Ragland...it was to be expected he would not be back to full speed for a while... How is this dumb again?...

That is the plan after all...Not trying to be cute either...That is the plan...And I certainly hope it works...

No thanks... Peterman will be the backup here minimum for the next 4 years, and the Bills will be Drafting their next guy in 2018 Round 1... No reason to give up ANY Draft capital for anyone around the league now...This team is too far away realistically, and the plan is clearly to get a top guy in the next Draft...

Really like the kid... And he was not bad at Nebraska...It not a huge surprise to me that he flashing a bit...

I would not waste much energy on these kinds of arguments after 3 preseason games...I can't wait to see the reaction from some around here by the end of this season...Like pulling out of a 17 year drought was just going to be a piece of cake!...A regular walk in the park... I mean...If you are behind the plan going forward just get ready to ignore all kinds of garbage...Because it's coming for McD and Beane...It's going to be raining on them hard soon...I just hope Pegs has the stomach for it...

That's good of you to give him 8 games...I doubt many will be even that gracious... But be prepared...It's going to take more than 8...New schemes, less talent, and an ownership that is firmly behind these guys long term and the plan in place...And I think they are nuking this by the time it's all said and done... The only thing I wish is that they could be more honest about what is really going on...I do kind of understand why they won't be...It would just be nice to hear some brutal honesty...But make no mistake, this does not look even remotely like a good football team, and they know it...In fact I firmly believe that's kind of the plan...By the time this plan is fully implemented there will only be a handful of this current roster still around...And I think that day can't come soon enough for McD and Beane, despite all the process talk...Maybe that is the actual process... The only question now is how high they will Draft and if they have to give up much of the collected capital to get the QB of the future...I know that does not do much for the discipline thing, and it's not going to make Sunday's any easier to watch this year...But it is what it is...Maybe I'll be wrong and they will shock me...But I really, really, doubt it right now...

He would have done better vs the 1st team if we could have lined up correctly...He had two nice gains called back and made some decent throws despite the constant pressure...

Dumb Penalties have stopped 2 drives now...This O-line can't pass block at all... But IMHO Peterman still looks better than Tyrod...

Because the OT's are scared to death of getting beat so they are lining up too deep...

At this point I'm guessing...maybe even hoping no one is surprised...

I watched Stidham vs Oklahoma, Kansas St, and in Auburn's Spring Game...I'm impressed...We have to keep in mind he was a true Freshman when he came in at Baylor...He did not look out of place at all...He seems to really like pushing the ball down field, so it should be interesting to see how much they let him at Auburn... Let's see how he does vs those SEC D's...But if he does well Stidham can rocket up the QB Rankings should he decide to go one and done...

You really think it's just because of one preseason game? There have been plenty of Tyrod doubters all along the way...This is nothing new...

I think he'll be here as a back-up for years to come behind the guy we Draft in the 1st next year... And I know it's the season and all...People have to micro-analyze everything, especially the QB position...But the minute the Bills traded down and got that extra 1st the writing was on the wall...They will take a QB in 2018...It may not be the top guy...It may not even be one of the top 3 (and yes I think they are all coming out assuming they don't completely crap out this year)...But they are taking a QB...And that guy, whoever he ends up being, will be the future at QB for the Bills...Peterman will have to beat that guy out, and do so convincingly...Which is going to take a massively huge step from what we've seen of him so far...

I don't know...Maybe...But they're not doing that with Woods or Incognito... I just don't understand why you mess with Miller?...To me this is all about dissing Miller rather than finding out about a washed-up, back-up...Of all the problems the Bills had last year can anyone honestly say Miller was in the Top 10? Top 15? Top 20? And again I'm not trying to say Miller is a world beater...But he's solid, and he really improved last year...It's a position that did not need to be messed with... Makes no sense to me no matter what they are trying to figure out with Vlad...But maybe it's just me...If I was Miller I would be insulted by this garbage...

I've been on board with the new regime from the get-go...But this garbage they are pulling at RG is a joke...Why mess with John Miller? And if you're going to look to upgrade at RG, Vlad Ducasse? Are you kidding me? Good grief even the casual fan knows the guy sucks... Miller made huge, massive strides in his 2nd year...He's still a young guy and for the life of me I don't understand why they would want to mess with that? I'm not saying he's Larry Allen, but if Miller takes a similar step from year 2 to year 3 than he did from year 1 to year 2...he's going to be pretty good...Why mess with him like that? I really don't get it, and it's stuff like this that kind of chips away slowly at the stone of confidence I have for this new coaching staff...
