  1. Personally I take D.K. and I don't even think twice about it... I literally make the pick in the 1st 30 seconds and run the card up... But that's just me...?
  2. Well...I pretty much knew from the tape what he would do at the Combine...I knew he would be a freak...But he's not a stop-on-a-dime-type...He's a beat-you-fast and hit the jets type with good hands... At this point he's not perfect...He's a bit raw...But look at what the Bills did in one season with Foster...D.K.'s ceiling is well beyond Foster's and he's a REAL hard working kid who wants to be the best...He has DRIVE...He's a good teammate, good character kid...I just don't see the downside whatsoever... Don't underestimate his ability to set up DB's either...He's learning the nuances at WR...He's not a finished product...But he shows enough growth to know he can be... Give him a couple years and watch...If he lands in Buffalo, adding him to Foster and Zay gives the Bills a REAL legit top 3 with a ton of diversity...In D.K. and Foster you would have two guys who can beat Defenses vertically on every down...That's going to open up all kinds of options for Zay and a TE...Add a Swiss-army-knife kind of slot guy and there you go...Done... It's a gamble on greatness...But goodness the payoff is immense...?
  3. True... I'm comparing them as prospects where athletic ability and upside for their position are considered...?
  4. Well...A few things Sir... QB play for one...A slew of other skill position players that were very good while he was there...They spread it around...It was an offensive philosophy... Plus he was the youngest of all the receiver options...And he did get hurt... Don't get me wrong...He was not perfect...But the sky is the limit with him...He's the (QB) Josh Allen of WR's...
  5. He's plenty...And I mean PLENTY good on the field already too...And he's just starting to scratch the nuances he'll need in the NFL...But he has and uses some already...Violent hands...He knows how to set up DB's...He's the son of an NFL player... He's SO much better already than most of these folks who think he's just another David Boston can even comprehend...There are lapses in concentration from time to time...The occasional drop...But the kids a redshirt sophomore...He's a SUPER hard worker with an amazing attitude...The medicals are clear... Wait a couple years...He's going to be an absolute stud...Hopefully not for the Jets...?
  6. D.K just ran his way into the top 5... And I'm sad...?
  7. I think Zay is our #3 in 2019 behind D.K. and Foster...
  8. I think I'm going to go for the record of Mock's on TDN...? It is interesting to see how some things fall differently from Mock to Mock... I have my favorite prospects already (Ozigbo and Hill for example), and I'm trying to stick to them...I like that I've been able to get Risner or Cajuste in each Mock at #40 (I prefer Risner)...Though I've yet to maneuver to land Bobby Evans , my sleeper at OT... Anyway...I'll never not take D.K. at #9...If he's there, that's who I'm taking...? 9) D.K. Metcalf, WR Mississippi 40) Yodny Cajuste, OT West Virginia 74) Isaac Nauta, TE Georgia 112) Renell Wren, IDL Arizona State 131) Jalen Jelks, EDGE Oregon 147) Devine Ozigbo, RB Nebraska 158) Justice Hill, RB Oklahoma State 181) Blace Brown, CB Troy 225) Kendall Joseph, LB Clemson 228) Jalen Hurd, WR Baylor
  9. Used the new tool on The Draft Network with their Predictive Board... 9 D.K. Metcalf, WR Mississippi 40 Dalton Risner, OT Kansas State 75 Darrell Henderson, RB Memphis 106 Dax Raymond, TE Utah State 125 Jalen Jelks, EDGE Oregon 137 Justice Hill, RB Oklahoma State 148 Montre Hartage, CB Northwestern 168 Demarcus Christmas, IDL Florida State 203 Jalen Hurd, WR Baylor 206 Kendall Joseph, LB Clemson
  10. Great minds think alike... ?
  11. This is basically the same theory I asked Joe Marino to talk about this coming Tues on the Locked On Bill Podcast... https://twitter.com/LockedOnBills/status/1096037556913954817 It's why I think Metcalf will be the pick at #9 assuming his workout/medicals all come out fine... There is a TON in common with the type-prospects Allen/Edmunds/and Metcalf are...?
  12. I heard the same thing (I think it was Kyle Crabbs maybe?)...And it (the Ole Miss O) did to the extent the passing game ran through anyone... But Crabbs, and the rest of the Scouts at The Draft Network pretty clearly prefer Metcalf as an NFL prospect...3 of them (including Crabbs) have written up D.K. already, and it's all pretty positive stuff...Bordering on gushing... On a side note...This is the single favorite thing I've read by a Scout about Metcalf...Ledyard wrote it: Competitive Toughness – Big receiver who plays like it. Won’t back down from anyone physically and looks for opportunities to remind cornerbacks he’s not your normal receiver. Like this play vs Alabama...I've watched that chop about a million times...Just LOVE it... https://thedraftnetwork.com/2018/12/05/2019-nfl-draft-player-profile-d-k-metcalf/
  13. Well...It's more like 2.5 yrs...10/12/89 to 4/21/92... But agreed... Either or...I think Morse will get similar money too...I just think they'll like Paradis more because he's been a better run blocker... We'll see...?
  14. My guess is, if in the end he's not a Bill, it won't be because they don't try... I think he's our #1 target in Free Agency and they are going to offer him a BIG deal...?
  15. I always liked him...Felt he could be an absolute monster early in his career...But he never quite lived up to it... It's interesting because I think he's similar to Dareus in that, he should be a force, but he's not...He'll give you flashes...But not consistency... I'm all for giving him a shot on a prove-it deal...He's a REAL good character/locker room guy...?
  16. I've already been pretty consistent with my hopes for D.K. at #9... If he goes to Indy and does what I think he will do, my next move will be to plan my near 2 month camp-out on Beane's front lawn... I'll remind him I had Mahomes at #1 overall in 2017, and I begged...begged the Bills to take Chris Jones at #19 in 2016 when they took Shaq... I can be very persuasive...?
  17. If they are getting the healthy 2017 Spencer Long it's a steal in the current Market... If they get the guy that struggled through injury with the Jets last year it's a bit too much...?
  18. From a 2017 CBS article... Spencer Long At the midseason point, I was very impressed with Spencer Long. After all, he had just come into the starting lineup in Week 3 to strengthen the team’s weakness at center. In our midseason grades, I said the following of Long: All of that rings true to the end of the season. Long has continued to play well, though he was slowed down by a concussion at the close of the season. He has earned the right to be the team’s starting center moving forward, and definitely should be a solid player moving forward. Long’s Season Grade: B
  19. I have one wish really... D.K...?
  20. Oh wow... I think that's WAY too high for McCoy...?
  21. I certainly hope Williams turns out to be a big time find for the Bills... But I doubt very much he'll be a more complete WR in the NFL than DK Metcalf...?
  22. I really like this OT class...Especially up top... Only problem is I like DK Metcalf more than any of them...?
  23. I did not see that live... It's a very weak call to say the least...?
  24. And just like that the search for the next McVay is re-examined...?
  25. I'll take Ford, Williams, Reisner, Cajuste, Edwards, or Taylor over Little right now... I do think he's got a high ceiling...But I'm worried about that floor...?
