Look...There are a few undeniable facts about the 2018 Buffalo Bills...They have the most dead cap money in the NFL, and this was the plan pretty much from day #1 of the McBeane union...The greatly unlikely Playoff appearance last year probably gave them the impression that they could do things with this roster no one expected...Instead, it's gone the way it logically should when you have about half-a-roster of talent...No one should be surprised...It was kind of the plan... But...They will likely have a Top 5 pick in 2019, and as many as 9 more picks after that one...They will have a slew of cap space...They'll have a Top 10 QB with a little experience under his belt, and they will very likely have a Top 10 Defense when more reinforcements are added... There was always the chance this season would go bad...It's not like you have to be all that smart to figure there was a chance this could happen...But the time to really judge McD and Beane will start next season...If there's more of this next year then all bets are off...But I'm not going to pine over an obviously talented young HC who just-so-happens to have one of, if not the most talented overall roster in the entire league...Not yet at least...?

Agreed...And I'm pretty much a McBeane supporter...But in this case both hosts asked the questions they HAD to ask and did it in a respectful enough way... Who know what is going on behind the scenes with McD today...He's in a spot with Peterman and he obviously knows it...But I don't think he handled it as well as he could have...?

I think when answering the 1st question on Peterman he should not lead with "I saw some good things early on..." I'm not trying to be overly critical of McD...I don't want the guy fired, and despite his obvious blind spot for Peterman, I get that he really likes the kid...But come on...Read the room (or in this case the fan base) just a little bit...All he has to say is...regardless of any positives...it was not good enough...And move on...But instead, at least to me, it feels like he's being purposely stubborn about it...And that IS NOT going to go over well with this fan base...I'm really hoping McD is not making the mistake other HC's have before in underestimating this fan base and it's ability to see things for what they truly are, along with recognizing the bullspit when they hear it... I REALLY hope he is not making that mistake, because that will kill him in Buffalo...Period...End of story...?

Well... I hate to say I told you so... But...I would have taken him #1 overall in that Draft...The Bills could have had him at #10... I love TreDa as much as anyone...But it was a flat out swing and a miss by whoever made that decision... Life goes on...I'm a Josh Allen fan now...?

If McD sends Peterman out there again, baring an injury situation, he is spending a crap ton of the capitol he built up last year... He just can't do it...If the kid struggles he's pretty much like any NFL 1st Rd Rookie QB...It's understandable...What is not understandable it putting a 5th Rd pick out there who has not just looked bad, but historically bad in 2 NFL starts... I'm done with any Peterman talk...It's a waste of time...He has proven he cannot be the NFL QB he has to be (quick reads, get the ball out accurately, etc) when real bullets fly...He's seemingly a good practice and Preseason QB...But that's where it very obviously ends...And it does not just end there...It ends like doing 170 into an immovable, impenetrable brick wall...?

If I was the Bills GM Mahomes would be our QB... The proof is right here at TBD...I would have taken him #1 overall... One good performance does not make me right...But...I loved that kid coming out... And the year before I would have taken Chris Jones where we took Lawson... I think, at the very least, maybe I can get a job Scouting for KC...?
