If you watch the press conference somebody asks why Darby was benched and Rex's immediate response is, "why do you think?" He then pauses for a moment and comes up with the "Darby was sick" thing. I'm not sure what to think here. It might just be Rex protecting a player to the media or perhaps he wasn't quite himself but when his immediate response is "why do you think?" it makes you wonder if it was because of an "illness."

If Pegula would just agree to hold the state of NY hostage for a new stadium the NFL would start allowing the Bills to win.

That wasn't even the worst part though. The Bills still made the FG and it got taken off the board for delay of game. The officials put the ball down with 5 seconds left on the play clock and were still between the OL and DL with 3 seconds left on the play clock. The league office even said last night on one of the post game shows that if the ball gets put down with less than 20 seconds it should have been reset and it was a mistake. They admitted both that and the roughing the kicker call should have been made. I love the apologies for mistakes, like it does any good after the fact.
