  1. What are you laughing at? TT feels phantom pressure all the time. The tackles push the rush wide and instead of simply stepping up into the pocket the OL has created TT breaks the pocket and starts running towards the sideline. He does this consistently.
  2. Well, the Bills do play the Raiders and Steelers, so win vs. them and those tie breakers take precedence. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the first tie break for the wild card with 3 or more teams is to break the tie within each division first, so only the highest rated team is left in each division. Then they move on to other tie breakers. So if the Bills beat the Raiders and the Raiders, Bills and Kansas City all end up with the same record the Bills would win that tie break IF the Raiders won the head to head tie break with KC. Of course, if the Raiders win that division a win over them doesn't help the Bills in terms of tie break other than adding a W to the conference record.
  3. TT played very well vs. Seattle and most people praised his play. I didn't see people (other than the 2-3 posters who rip TT no matter what) saying we can't praise his play since they lost. By that same rational you can rip him if he plays poorly, even if the team wins.
  4. TT was bad yesterday but there isn't even a conversation to be had about this. He's the starter for the remainder of the season. As for next year, I'm torn. You don't want to get rid of a guy who is in the top 2/3 of the NFL and it's incredibly tough to find quality QBing but the more I see of TT the less I think he'll ever be a QB who makes quick decisions and makes accurate throws - which is what you need for sustained success in the NFL.
  5. It was a joke, which I thought was obvious. And yeah, Rob was a tough as hell guy. You're confusing durable with tough. I'd say a guy like Rob, who was consistently hurt yet when given the opportunity to play it safe, rarely did, he'd put himself into danger time and time again and he did this knowing he always got hurt. That is the definition of a tough guy. It's not somebody who is durable, it's somebody who isn't afraid. And to play an incredibly violent sport for their entire lives illustrates that these guys are willing to put themselves into danger, time and time again while you sit on the couch and call them "soft" while drinking a beer and eating some wings.
  6. According to various posters Dareus, Hughes, Lawson, both Safties and Gilmore all played like crap...yet the D allowed 12 points and didn't allow a first down in the 2nd half until the last drive where they were purposely giving them the middle of the field. I hope they play like crap the rest of the season.
  7. Maybe. I read that the franchise tag on him this year will cost them $23M if they can't agree on a contract and that will bump up to $30M next season if they slap it on him a third year. Players generally aren't too happy to have a team franchise them so we'll see what Cousins and his agent think about returning to Washington. I'd say odds are Cousins signs with Washington but it's not crazy to think they won't be able to agree to terms after the season.
  8. Every player who has ever played in the NFL, with the exception of kickers and Dion Sanders, has been tough as hell. Sammy is no exception. And I appologize to all the kickers out there for comparing them to Dion.
  9. Yeah, no kidding.
  10. How so? The Bills don't play the same D at the end of the game if the Bengals need a FG to win. They were giving them the middle of the field to runnclock because they needed a TD. That doesn't happen if they are only up 2.
  11. Until The last drive, where they were purposely giving them the middle of the field to run clock, they didn't give up a first down the entire 2nd half. The D was lights out after the half. Not sure how anybody can complain about the D today.
  12. If only the Rams O could score some points.
  13. So if they are very good players and leaders on teams that don't have the overall talent to compete at the highest levels that reflects poorly on them? An individual can only do so much in a game that has 22 starters.
  14. I don't even care if he's missing open guys because he's going through his progressions and throws to a different guy. What is frustrating is when he misses WIDE open guys because he's bolting the pocket due to phantom pressure instead of making the read,'stepping up into the pocket and firing the ball. He does this all the time, not just this game. Sometimes it results in a highlight reel play. More often it results in yards/points being left on the field.
  15. Dude had a surgically repaired foot and he relies on his legs/feet to make sharp cuts. He straps it up and plays in one of the toughest sports in the world yet internet warriors like to call him out for being soft. I laugh at these posters. If you want to say you are frustrated because he never seems healthy, I get that. But to call any of these players "soft" or make fun of their"boo boos" just makes one look dumb.
  16. The guy always seems to be hurt. I understand things happen and much of it can't be controlled but it doesn't change the fact he seems to be hurt more often than not since he put on anBills uni. Its a shame, because when he's healthy he changes the dynamic of the entire offense.
  17. I get what you're saying and no doubt the team would be better with all their playmakers. And you'd have a great point if were having to throw into tight windows, guys weren't getting open at all or guys were dropping a lot of balls. But we saw WIDE open guys not getting the ball at all or not getting catchable balls. What does that have to do with missing players?
  18. Houston. Only one team is making it from the South, the division winner.
  19. He absolutely bolts the pocket way too early. He doesn't take offs running automatically but he doesn't step up into the pocket created for him. It is infuriating.
  20. I don't have a lot of faith in this team but with 4 of last 6 at home and games vs. the Jags, Browns and Jets remaining I'll go out on a limb and say they finish 8-8 min.
  21. No doubt this is true. It doesn't excuse missing wide open guys with inaccurate throws or just not seeing them before he bolts out of the pocket because of phantom pressure.
  22. Bills O didn't look good today but D played lights out in 2nd half. That's two straight games they've come out after half and dominated. It would be nice if they could do that from the opening whistle. Every team has to win ugly games on occasion. I'd rather win em than lose em.
  23. Missing his top 2 WRs is a big reason the offense isn't as good as it could be. And I cut TT some slack because of it. That being said, missing those guys doesn't excuse TT breaking the pocket way too early, throwing late way to often, and missing open guys with inacurate throws. The two most important things for an NFL QB IMO are quick decision making and accurate throws. This are TTs biggest weaknesses.
  24. Because Bills
