  1. It could be argued that all those non Bills' fans see things more clearly because they're not blinded by 17 years of frusteration. Not saying we should keep Rex, I think hes done a bad job, but every 2 or so years fans always justify the firing of a HC and pretty much say, "this time is different!" Im guilty of it too.
  2. Fisher led his team to the playoffs 4 times in his first 9 full seasons, including the SB and an AFC championship game. 4 times in 9 years isnt great but he hardly has the trash record that people make it out to be.. He had more playoff seasons than losing seasons with the Titans and had a .542 winning percentage. Now, Im not saying he was some great coach, but people act like hes the worst thing that ever happned to coaching, and hes not. Hes just a douchebag which makes people want to labke him horrible instead of the above average coach he was for much of his career.
  3. Rex said, "Its still my defense." So in his own words he takes the majority of the blame.
  4. Tennessee doesn't have to lose 2 of 3. Instead, Houston can lose 2 of 3. As long as the runner up in that division doesn't have 9 wins it doesn't matter. If the Bengals can beat the Texans in week 16 and the Titans lose to the Chiefs this week their head to head matchup in week 17 doesn't mean a thing to the Bills.
  5. Resign Re-sign
  6. I'm fine with that. I don't care if the Bills get into the playoffs with a 7-9 record like the Seahawks did awhile back. I'll take a "we're just not as sh*tty as everybody else" playoff birth any day.
  7. I'm absolutely rooting for the Bills to win their last three games. I'll be watching, no matter what, and I enjoy the games a hell of a lot better when my favorite teams plays well. Losing out doesn't guarantee anything either, just like winning doesn't keep the momentum moving into next season. But winning makes my Sundays better.
  8. I'm sure the Patriots, Dolphins and Jets fans are content with it.
  9. The Bills need way more help than that. Also, the Ravens could lose this week to the Eagles and still win that Bengals game. Bills just need the Ravens to lose two of 3, including the Steelers game.
  10. Need the Pats to handle the Bronco too. Have to have the Ravens to lose to either the Eagles this week or Bengals week 17. Would be great if it happened this week. It would be very helpful if the Chiefs beat the Titans and the Jags beat Houston but they're not absolutely needed though given the Titans remaining record I'm hoping they lose this week. Vikings beating the Colts would be helpful too but not critical.
  11. I've asked my wife if she did it intentionally knowing I'd come along behind to fix it. She swears she doesn't...but I have my doubts.
  12. My wife can't load the dishwasher for sh*t. It's like she doesn't even try to maximize the space, she just tosses it all in there in any willy-nilly any random way she can. Annoys the hell out of me that I have to take the time to completely reorganize it. I'd rather her just not "help." The thing that completely drives me crazy is she insists on putting chop sticks into the silver wear compartment despite the fact that they slide though and hit the bottom of the dishwasher. So when you go to pull the drawer out it gets stuck on the chop stick, sometimes breaking it, and often times throwing the drawer off the track. I've almost lost the entire lower drawer of dishes onto the floor a few times as the drawer went off the track due to a chop stick. And no, we don't use chop sticks that often, but we'll order Chinese every 3 or 4 weeks and without fail, no matter how many times I ask her not to do it, she puts the f$&%*ing chop sticks in the silver wear drawer! And yeah, it just happened a few moments ago, so its' fresh in my mind and this is the first place I thought of to vent.
  13. Belichick couldn't win with that roster.
  14. Lynn inherited Roman's system. He wasn't going to change it mid season. I have no clue what a Lynn offensive system would actually look like. Perhaps it's similar but who knows, he's never run an offense before.
  15. Why Kim? She's an owner, first off. Secondly, what is up with posters singling her out? As if she made the decision to hire Rex and totally overrode her husbands opinion? The Pegulas, both of them, share the blame for the hire.
  16. Sadly I still root for the Bills and Inroot for the teams that will help the Bills get into the playoffs. I'll do this until the Bills are mathematically eliminated. Once that happens I'll still root for the Bills but I'll start to put more focus on UCLA basketball which this year is actually good.
  17. Your example is LaFell? A guy who never had more than 49 catches in any year before arriving at the Pats and then proceeds to put up 74 in his first season with NE? His numbers weren't nearly as good his second year as he dealt with a foot injury that kept him out 5 games and hampered him in some others but despite that he still put up numbers that were comparable to his career averages prior to arriving in NE. I'm guessing there are guys one could bring up to prove it's not everybody, but LaFell isn't one of them.
  18. EJ has started a grand total of 16 games in his career yet somehow he's been given "chance after chance" while we still don't know enough about Tyrod to toss him aside? I want to start EJ, not to evaluate him, but because I doubt Jones is ready and I don't want TT to get hurt. It's that simple.
  19. But he's not 17-15. He's 14-15. And the reason he doesn't have a D is because he destroyed it. He made a top tier D into a lower-middle tier D. The talent on the D is there if utilized to accentuate it's strengths. We've seen it done, it's not hypothetical.
  20. I understand the clause when it comes to TT (though not the Dareus one.) TT wasn't going to sign a deal that paid him little up front and had a team option for future years without some sort of security for himself tied into it. I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine with is once it's apparent that he is not the guy that they keep trotting him out there. Put the guy in bubble wrap.
  21. All it takes for TT to be back in is an injury that takes 4 months to recover from. No idea why they'd let him play in any more games.
  22. They surprised us for 4-5 games but the LBs have been the main culprit in the D's downfall in the past 7 or so games. They have been trash.
  23. Was a good game to watch to see NE's defense too. It gave up some plays in the 2nd half but watch Dallas and NE and see how teams that rush 3 or 4 consistently do it with success. They allow the short passes in the flat and then have LBs close FAST to keep the play from gaining any real yards. Bills do this and allow the short pass to gain 9-10 yards regularly because the LBs don't read it quickly enough or get caught in traffic. Perhaps when the weakest element of the D is the LBs (and it still is, despite early season reports to the contrary) the D shouldn't be set up for them to be the playmakers...
  24. If that actually happened that's a good reason to stop using their website for playoff percentages. The Bills absolutely needed the Pats to win last night to increase their minuscule playoff hopes to ever so slightly above minuscule.
  25. When I go through those records I notice that the coach finally starts winning the moment he gets a quality QB, almost without fail. If a QB doesn't start performing the coach gets the axe.
