  1. Guess I'll be the voice of dissent. That penalty on Royal was legit. You can't push the guy in the back no matter how small the push was. Price wasn't out of bounds either. I'm not sure about the INT return, I haven't had a chance to look at it again. People need to get over blaming the refs. Blame the team. Blame the OL and backs that can't pass protect. Blame the D for getting pushed around and allowing the Pats to run all over them. The Bills got beaten today, plain and simple.
  2. Who would have thought before this game that the Pat's fans would be booing their team at halftime?
  3. I've heard this statement about a million times in my life. A few hours later, after the game it's usually followed by, "I can't believe they missed that PAT!?" or "it was a lock until that fluke punt return with two minutes left!"
  4. I was thinking my game food was horrible but you made me feel a little better. Trying to watch what you eat when football season rolls around is tough. I either had to sacrifice the food or the beer, I went with the food. Chicken dogs and turkey chilli are on the menu for me today. =/ My wife's attempt to make it seem like football food wihtout the fat. Hopefully if I douse it with enough mustard it won't be so bad.
  5. Someone save this post as I think it's the last positive post JSP posts all year. It's a shame since his first one was just a few days ago.
  6. 63 yards on 19 attempts. 1TD.
  7. He's right. Sure they traded the 2nd and the 5th the following year to move up in the first but they also used a 1st round pick to draft Losman. So they used a 1st, 2nd and 5th to get him. I don't think it was a bad move given the lack of quality QBs that came out in the following draft (granted, that only holds true if Losman turns into a quality QB himself).
  8. The last Bills game I bet on was SB 25 when I bet a friend of mine $100 that the Bills would score at least 20 points. I decided then and there I'd never lay money on them again.
  9. I said the exact same thing a few posts up but only used three sentences.
  10. Are you seriously complaining about the Bills not overpaying for an injury prone Jennings? Donahoe made a lot of mistakes, not re-signing Jennings wasn't one of them. Tell me, how many games has Jennings played for the 49ers thus far?
  11. I'd rather roll the dice that Peters develops and is our future LT than sign McKinnie to that kind of contract. If he does develop into the player the coaching staff thinks he can I have no doubt he'll be moved to LT.
  12. Yeah, your list is important. I've heard that JP likes to tell fart jokes in the huddle. How unprofessional can you get?
  13. Of course I've seen him play and I don't think he's a top 25 player or top 5 WR. Off the top of my head I'd rather have Holt, Fitzgerald, Owens (in terms of the player, not locker room), Moss, Chambers, Smith & Chad Johnson. Imo those players are clearly better. Moss would be grouped in with the second tier of wideouts that includes players like Ward, Roy Williams and Andre Johnson.
  14. I am so tired of using first round draft picks to replace first round draft picks that we let go. At some point this cycle has to end.
  15. Do you actually think Clements deserves to be on that list? I sure as hell don't. Takeo might deserve to still be considered one of the best, but coming off the most devastating injury in sports I wouldn't put money on it. At this moment in time their omission of Bills players is justified.
  16. You went from talking about the SB to saying it's going to be a long season after one game? Your long season talk shouldn't start until next week's loss.
  17. If I was going to question a selection the first one that pops out to me is Santana Moss at 17. I wouldn't rank him in the top 50, much less top 20.
  18. If he can put together another year like last year (and thus show some consistancy) I'd say he's the best LB in the league. The guy was a beast last year.
  19. I have a Moulds' authentic that I wanted to replace. I bought the Moulds' one on Ebay but I want a throwback authentic and can't find any of those up for auction so I went to the Bills pro shop to see what they charge. As if it's not bad enough that they want $260 for the authentic throwbacks they only have two players to choose from, McGahee and Losman. If you don't want one of those players you have to pay to "customize" the jersey which is an extra $40. I was going to bite the bullet and pay the $260 for an authentic but once I saw they were trying to gouge me for another $40 I said !@#$ it, I'm not giving them another dime. I'll hold out and wait for something to come up on Ebay.
  20. That is every agent's goal. Nonetheless, Rosenhaus' bark is much worse than his bite. For all the negative publicity he gets he rarely has players hold out.
  21. Also, on Ronie Brown's second TD Chris Chambers had an obvious hold on his man but it wasn't called. I have no clue how they missed it as Brown ran right to the area of the goal line where Chambers was holding.
  22. He had two decent runs where he picked up yardage after contact. I'm not sure how that equates to "flattening" the Steelers. The Dolphins OL looked pathetic run blocking last night. I have no idea how anybody got the idea that they were running over them. Had Mularkey handed the ball to Brown on that 3rd and 2 it would have ended up 4th and 4.
  23. His footwork is horrible. It's no wonder he's off target all the time.
  24. 30 yards rushing by Ronnie Brown says otherwise. Their pass protection is okay but that's only half of the equation.
