  1. And when he's interviewed he gives credit to his teammates. What a novel concept!
  2. I'll take the over on both of those numbers.
  3. That must be the one they show in between the "Save the cheerleader, save the world" spots.
  4. My pet peeve is when the announcers call a play a reverse when it was just an end around. I happens just about every game.
  5. I had LT in a keeper league from 2003-2005 (sadly I could only keep him 3 years) and watched all of SD's games when they weren't playing opposite of the Bills. That OL in 2003 was not a good line, despite LT's numbers. He made many of those yards on his own kind of like Sanders had to do for much of his career.
  6. You might be right about the second Evans TD but on the first one that was an amazing throw. JP slips on the grass, regains his footing and with a D lineman bearing down on him heaves the ball down field without being able to step all the way into the throw...and it arrives perfectly in stride. It was the best throw he made all game.
  7. They do now but for the first few years of LT's career they were horrible.
  8. Faulk was a great back but LT might just be the best RB I've ever seen play. He can just do it all. He's Barry Sanders with the ability to pick up short yards and catch the ball out of the backfield. There's nothing LT doesn't do and do really f'in well.
  9. The Bills might be a better team than Houston or a few other teams but on the road there are no games that I think that they "should" win. They could win these games (as they did today) but that's different than saying "should". When a team "should" beat another team it's because they are much better than the other team. The Bills aren't much better than anyone.
  10. I've heard this a few times today and it makes no sense to me. How on earth does anybody think that this Buffalo Bills team is good enough to say such a thing? There are simply no road games that this team "should" win. It's just the opposite; the Bills are a team that every team in the league "should" beat when the Bills come to town. In fact, there are very few teams that the Bills “should” beatm even at home. The Bills aren’t a good team so give them some credit when they do actually play well.
  11. He sounds like a class guy.
  12. This win was probably the most satisfying one since opening week of the 2003 seaon when the Bills blanked the Pats.
  13. Best and most entertaining game in years. It's the first time in forever where I was genuinely excited while watching a Bills game.
  14. Man, if you can't get excited about a game like today I don't know why you watch football.
  15. You've gotten your grade back. You get an F.
  16. That shoul dhave been a delay of game penalty on the Texans.
  17. He's not getting a contract. He's gone after this season. And yes, you're right, it's a mistake.
  18. You also use both timeouts before the 2:00 min warning. They just wasted a few seconds there.
  19. Absolutely horrible. If they needed a FG I could see punting, but they need a TD. Just inexcusable.
  20. 6:27 left. This is where the D lets the Hou O run the clock out without a stop.
  21. It ran 6 seconds off the clock. The clock was at :26 before the play.
  22. Because they are the Buffalo Bills.
  23. Whitner has looked pretty bad today.
  24. If you take away the #1 WR, stop the run and consistantly preasure the QB you can stop any team in the NFL...
  25. The problem with your semi-analysis is that you're assuming they're supposed to be immediately "better." I'm not really the right person to defend Marv and Co. as I wasn't happy with Marv's hiring to begin with and wasn't thrilled with the draft. That being said I'm still willing to give the new regime some time to show improvement. You, on the other hand, seem to have an agenda. You made up your mind awhile ago that you didn't like the direction of the team and are looking for any and every opportunity to say, "SEE, I WAS RIGHT!" The problem is you're not right, you just think you are. You might end up being correct but it's far too early to jump to that conclusion yet. I'm sure you don't want to hear it but when a team installs a new O and new D schemes, loses their primary receiving threat on O, shuffles the OL and has 4 rookies who are either starting or playing significant amounts of time on D you're bound to go through some growing pains. This would be true even if the team was heading in the right direction. I'm not going to claim that the team is heading in the right direction but I'm not going to claim the opposite either, it's just too early to tell. People who want immediate results have unrealistic expectations. I'm as tired as any Bills fan of losing but you can't blame the current GM or coaching staff for that. They need to be given the opportunity to do their jobs. In addition to the growing pains check out the schedule. The combine winning percentage of the teams the Bills played in the first 9 games last year was .423. That's a pretty easy schedule. The combine winning percentage of the first nine games this year is .580. That's an incredibly tough schedule. Without looking at every team's schedule I'd guess that the Bills likely have had one of the toughest schedules in the league. So, taken in all, the new schemes, the rookies playing, the shuffling on the OL and the much, much tougher schedule this year it's actually pretty surprising that the team would be only one game off where they were last year. I’m not sure how anybody could think that this team could have a much better record at this point in the season.
