    How does anybody get 10-6 with a LB trio of Ellison, Crowell and Coy Wire, Youboty starting at CB and A-Train at RB? I have no doubt that some of these positions will be upgraded come the start of the season, but as of today this team would be fortunate to win 6-7 games.

    Yeah, I'd be pissed if the Bills grabed Peterson with the 12th pick too. I'm not a fan of drafting a RB in the first round but if Peterson makes it to 12 you take him.

    Who suggested this? I'm all for picking up Turner but there is no way it should cost the Bills their first rounder this year.

    Actually the knock on Turner coming out of college was that he wasn't great at running between the tackles. He liked to take everything outside. He has since become much better at running between the tackles and still has the ability to take it outside. The straight ahead criticism doesn't really work either. If you keep throwing mud though, maybe something will stick.

    Lost in all this is that the play clock had clearly hit 0 before the snap of the ball. The Bills were screwed again!

    Why would Miami not want to keep Culpepper? Weren't the Phin fans saying he was one of the greatest QBs ALL TIME before last season and that they were SB bound because of him? There isn't much in life that is better than watching Phin fans delude themselves and then suffer the consequences once the season rolls around.

    The Titans didn't want to pay the $5 million roster bonus he was due and let him become a FA. He has subsequently signed with the Denver Broncos.

    I suppose if Denny Green or Matt Millen were running the draft for the Bills WR might be a bigger need than LB. Thankfully neither of them are. As someone stated earlier there is no need to have that many stud WRs on one roster. This isn't fantasy football.

    Who knows how that contract was structured. It could have had very little guaranteed money and a ton of money backloaded.

    Shoot myself in the head? I'm in agreement with you that it would be a dumb move I just don't see the point of harping on it. If CB is that important to this team then they should have kept Clements. If it's not that important given that they play the cover 2 then they should go in a different direction in the 1st round of the draft.

    Arizona would really consider Peterson after only one year with Edge? That's surprising.

    Well, obviously the answer to this is because Marv wasn't a GM in the league a few years ago to give up a first round pick for one of those two backs.
