  1. I like how you tried to frame it in a way that made it look as close as possible. Let's frame it another way: 2012 The Niners ranked 11th in the NFL in scoring offense vs. 19th for the Bills. The Niners scored just over 15% more points on the season (15.4%) Niners ranked 9th in the NFL in ToP while the Bills ranked 15th. The 49ers turned the ball over the fewest times of any offense in the league. Bills ranked 24th. 2013 Niners again ranked 11th in the NFL in scoring offense vs. 22nd for the Bills. The Niners scored almost 20% more points on the season (19.7%) ToP - Niners ranked 14th Bills ranked 28th. Niners ranked 4th in turnovers, Bills 15th. Most games in the NFL are decided by a TD or less so averaging 3 and 4 more points a game is HUGE in the NFL, not to mention helping your D out be staying on the field and not turning it over - both staples of a ground and pound offense.
  2. I've heard it will be today or tomorrow...
  3. Think you mean antagonist.
  4. Whether he Could do it or not is irrelevant, its too late. Why change positions at this point of his career when hes finalky worked his ass off to become a servicable WR? It would take years before he could become a decent CB, so again, why switch?
  5. Just need to sign Hardy and the Bills will hit the trifecta of NFL reclamation projects.
  6. ! QB and chemistry!!!??? Who would have thought it. And all this time the Bills were just focusing on chemisty. Hopefully now that they know the importance of the QB position it will mark a change at One Bills Drive
  7. Spiller will be much better on another team. Not because he'll actually be better but we will just get to see the highlights of him in the open field and not have to suffer through all the 0-2 yd runs. Everytime he has a highlight run someone will start a thread, "what were the Bills thinking? We could have had Kiko AND Spiller!"
  8. He's better at staying healthy!
  9. He turned some heads last year too.
  10. Youre going to be very disappointed in Romans offense if 5 wide is what youre hoping for. Youre more likely to see two TE sets than 4 and 5 wide.
  11. I would have liked to see them actually upgrade it before releasing Chandler. What happens if Clay signs with Cleveland or Miami matches the Bills offer?
  12. Maybe he was expecting EJ to be cut by day 2 of free agency...
  13. Guy has had two ACL injuries and he's only been in the NFL a year. What makes you think his knees will hold up and what makes you think those injuries won't negate his greatest attribute - his sideline to sideline speed. I agree with you that he could end up being an all time great but with his injury history I'm skeptical. And the Bills don't have to "win" this trade anyway, they just needed to make a move that would improve their overall team, and I think they did.
  14. Yep, he's the TE from this FA class that I thought was the best fit. Cameron might be better when healthy, but who knows if/when that ever happens.
  15. I don't think that's too far off the mark. Where is he more likely to cause problems, with Brady leading the O in NE or with Cassell/EJ throwing him the ball in Buffalo (where he'd be behind Watkins on the depth chart.) All landing spots are not created equal. If Harvin could prosper anywhere it's in the short passing attack of NE led by a future HoF QB.
  16. The problem is is his talent has never lead to consistent results - likely because of his ego (and his injuries...) When a guy can't reach his full potential and is a known cancer I'm not sure that talk of his talent is really that relevant. He's a player that everybody drools over because of his athletic ability but he never pans out because of his attitude. If his production warranted it teams would overlook his bad attitude, yet here we are and 3 teams have cut bait on the guy. Yet there is always a team/coach who thinks they can "turn it around." I hope it's not the Bills because his production doesn't warrant the headaches.
  17. We were discussing the type of teams that can win in the modern NFL, not the merrits of particular QBs. Its funny that you advocate a more agressive approach and then turn around and say that even teams with better QBs than the Bills play conservative schemes. Well, if thats the case, why would you want the Bills to be on the cutting edge with an aggressive passing attack?
  18. Worst thing about him being a Phin is that massive cotract that will be the starting point when Dareus begins negotiations to re-up.
  19. I cant tell if this is sarcasm or not.
  20. The douche part really only comes into play in your own locker room.
