  1. Yeah, it is. Imagine an entire nation looking over your shoulder (in hi def with super slow mo) while you work and calling you an idiot every time you made a mistake. I wouldnt want that job.
  2. He took 3 steps after the ball was thrown then hit him. That fets called every single time. It wasnt even a ticky tack penalty.
  3. Why is it called a "hoverboard?" Apparently "hover" technology has been around since 3000 B.C, we just mistakenly called them "wheels."
  4. It will take a team losing in the playoffs because of a blunder before they'll seriously address it. The way things are going it wouldn't surprise me if it happened this year.
  5. So wait, now the D isn't good because of the personnel? The same personnel that was good enough for top 5 Ds the last two years? The same personnel who Rex was chomping at the bit for because it was more talent than he's had since Baltimore? The team was on the cusp of the playoffs because of the D. So now you're saying that both the D and the O needed to be overhauled for Rex to be successful? And your post was supposed to be a positive spin on things?
  6. You can't agree? Where did anybody say anything like that for you to agree with? And while I don't know what he's thinking I know he has challenged some idiotic plays this year. And I'm not talking about getting it wrong I'm talking about plays where one says to themselves, "why on earth would you bother challenging that?" It's happened multiple time but has been overlooked because there are bigger things to trash the Bills for (like poor defensive play.) And how do you know that if he makes those challenges the Bills don't end up winning? I don't know if they do, but what I do know is that he didn't give the Bills the best chance of winning.
  7. It's called week 12 of the NFL season, everybody has backups in. And the starters didn't play any better for most of the season. As for your other point about him being ranked 1st at the beginning of the season: Being right doesn't mean it was a good challenge. The bottom line is that they only get 2 challenges per game and Rex has a really bad habit of just throwing a flag whenever he thinks the call is wrong and not even considering if the play in question is worth being challenged or he if should save it for later on a play that's important.
  8. Yeah, the board should have just two threads.
  9. I guess we've reached that time of year again.
  10. The real question is does he get the first down if he doesn't have to take a split second to recover the fumble?
  11. The good news for teams is that they'll have more to go on than just a game or two by the time he's a FA. Granted, it's still not enough to know what exactly he's worth but someone will throw lots of money at him if he plays well from here on out.
  12. After 16 years of this sh*t it's all already been said a thousand times.
  13. And they are only a game back of the Bills...
  14. Probably because Rex wants his opinion on whether he should challenge or not.
  15. The buck stops here is absolutely true for anybody who actually has authority over a given situation. This isn't some far ranging hire that Rex was only sorta familiar with. He is directly responsible for it. One of the major criticisms of Rex during his years with the Jets was that he was a very poor game day coach. He didn't manage games well. Are these things never his fault then? His poor clock management and his poor decisions challenging calls are somebody else's mistakes? An attention to every detail is required from a HC, it's his fault if the systems he has in place fail. Just as it's a good coaching job when those systems succeed. It is the nature of the beast.
  16. Something is seriously wrong with you as a Bills fan then.
  17. Peyton isn't getting his job back.
  18. I'm dumbfounded after watching this team play that a fan would think this. Every game left on the schedule is a challenge for the Bills. It's what happens when a team isn't very good.
  19. 1st and goal from the 5 I run the ball on first down and at least make them eat their last timeout.
  20. I'm going to repeat myself here because you keep repeating this. If the offensive system sucks, it's Rex's fault. If the D system sucks, it's Rex's fault. If the team's challenge system sucks, it's Rex's fault. He either has a direct hand in the systems in place or he has willfully given someone else the duty. Either way, it's his decision. Either way, it's his fault.
  21. I'd trade anybody on the roster if the price was high enough.
  22. They need to spend the offseason upgrading the K position. Carpenter's inaccuracy on gimme kicks is indefensible. The combination of a K who can't make an XP and a head coach who spends to rest of the game chasing those points is pretty deadly.
  23. Based on what we've seen this year there is very little chance the Bills finish the season 4-1, even with a relatively easy schedule.
  24. And the Bills' headset issues were with Wembley Stadium in London, yadda yadda yadda.
  25. None the less, Rex is in charge of setting up the system in place for challenging the plays. That system is failing.
