Thats why I said if he had stayed at home with friends it wouldnt be an issue. But he went to a public place where he KNEW people would take his picture and vid.
This thread is gold on a day like today. It allows Bills' fans to bask in the ineptude of another franchise after a tough loss.
Its not even that he wants to party. He wants to be seen partying, even when he knows his coach and organization would rather he not. If he was at home with some friends it wouldnt be an issue.
My guess is that its because he is risk averse. He sees Watkins bracketed and doesnt want to take a chance. The same thing we saw from EJ we are seeing with TT. He needs guys to be wide open before he trusts the throw.
Yeah, I dont disagree. But there is a line. Be passionate but in control, the same thing you want from your players. Throwing down your headset is like a 10 year old throwing is gaming controler across the room because he cant beat a level.
You have proven no such thing. The fact that you think somebody spending all their employment hours working to get better at something would have absolutly no effect is comical. DC Tom is right that the rules need to be simplified but full time refs would absolutely improve the officiating. The question is by how much it would be improved, not if it would be.
I can see how it's appealing for fans to see a guy mimic their anger but it is absolutely not helpful in managing a game. Tell me, do people make sound decisions when they are angry? Throwing a tantrum doesn't help your team at all.
We heard the same thing about Roman with Kaep. How is Kaep doing without him? Perhaps its the other way around. Roman keeps getting stuck with young, mobile QBs who are limited in what they can do from the pocket and he does the best he can with them.
I like TT's chances to develop more than I do/did Kaep though. TT is making an effort to become a complete QB in a way I never really saw with Kaep.
I voted no vs. the Jets & yes vs. the Pats. I'll vote no here hoping my prognostication skills continue.
All that for a minor ankle sprain? That's good news but I still can't help but
And I - obviously- don't know their internal ratings of officials but one has to assume that they put some of their best crews on Monday night games since the nation is watching.
You're absolutely right and I saw that pass too. It was two yards short of the LoS and I was screaming at my TV that it should have been grounding.
This drove me crazy and was typical Hogan. He has to know where the marker is and get there. But instead of just driving forward he tries to make a cut and gets stopped short. So frustrating.
My big problem with this is the type of team the Bills want to be. They want to be a run first team. Well, that type of team - when successful - is going to end up in a LOT of 3rd and short situations. That's what they are hoping for. It means the runs on 1st and 2nd were productive. Yet when the Bills get into these ideal situations they can't run the ball for a single yard. They get stuffed and have to punt.
They will never be successful on offense if they can't routinely convert those 3rd downs. If they can't convert 3rd and short with regularity then they need to open up the playbook and throw more because they'll never be able to "matriculate the ball down field" (to use an awesome Hank Stram quote) with their current scheme.
I didn't literally mean bullet. I meant a pass with not much arc. Anything other than the high arc pass he normally throws (which for most situations is the best deep ball throw.)
I think he did. McCoy was WIDE open. A down field bullet placed in the right spot and it's an easy 6 with the safety having no shot at getting over in time.
The problem is every week the announcers state how whatever CB is following Sammy "took him out of the game." Yet every week when people go in and look at the all 22 we see this isn't true.
The Bills' playcalling and TT take Sammy out of the game more than any CB does.
