Because on this day, a day when the Bills went out and looked like they were coached by high school level coaches, with players who have their heads up their asses I want to see articles dismantling the effort and preparation, not having sour grapes because a player didn't talk to a reporter.
-
Why do we "choose to ignore" it? I don't ignore it, he's not a guy I like. He seems like a douchebag. That, however, isn't my problem with the team. My problem is they find new and interesting ways to lose each and every week/month/year/decade.
-
Yeah, I thought it sounded like Sully was also a poor loser.
-
So the Bills lay an egg and are essentially eliminated from the playoffs and Sully writes an article about someone being a poor loser and not talking to the media? I've defended Sully plenty on here but that's an off base article given what occurred on the field today. There are so many perfectly Sully negative articles that deserved to be written about the actual game, he couldn't choose one of those topics?

I don't care if I never see TT roll out again. His accuracy is horrible on the run and I've seen way more botched plays when they do this than successful ones. The D has caught him at the edge a lot when he's attempted to get the first via the run on a roll out. If they want TT to run the best way to do it is breaking contain from the pocket.

[closed]Maybe the Most Disapointing Seson Ever
MDH replied to Jmsbills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure that in a vacuum this season is the most disappointing I'd go with the Mularkey team which lost to Pit in the finally. However, 16 years of no playoffs has a cumulative effect. Given the frustration of the perpetual ineptitute I might be inclined to agree with you. -
My bad, Roman has no blame in the offenses' struggles.
-
Typical Bills treadmill. Lets change coaches then spend a few offseasons fixing a D that was top 5. Round and round it goes.
-
His offense has had a large chunk of the penalties this year.

Week 14 Bills at Eagles 2nd half thread

They had 4 3rd downs today of 5 or fewer yards where they chucked it down field on a low percentage throw. Unacceptable. -

Get to play the worst division in the NFC (may e the NFL) and they cant win a game. Pathetic. -

Whats the point of getting the down and distance to 3rd and 5, 4 and 2 if you are just going to chuck it down field on a low percentage throw? So frigging frusterating watching this team. Stupidity abounds. -
Well, the women's game isn't where the men's is currently. I compare it to where the men were 13 or so years ago when Pride was in its prime and there weren't really any/many well rounded fighters. They all had their "styles." It was BJJ vs. boxing or wrestling vs. Muay Thai. So to say Rousey isn't that well rounded is true, but I don't feel any woman out there is that well rounded, not in comparison to the best of the best with the men. Just like the men it will take the women awhile to get there, if they ever do. So, it's a bit of an unfair criticism at Rousey to say she isn't well rounded. She is perfectly capable of dominating the women's division with just her Judo and BJJ while she tries to get a handle on striking. What makes Holm her kryptonite is Holm's take down defense was very good as was her footwork. It made it difficult for Rousey to get the fight where she needed it - to the ground. Rousey trying to walk Holm down didn't help her cause either... Hell, look at someone like McGregor, he's not well rounded either and he's the biggest name out there at the moment. The guy has a shot vs. Aldo tonight (though I don't think he'll win) but if he wins and gets matched up against Edgar he's in for a long beat down because he isn't good enough on the ground or avoiding takedowns and Frankie isn't going to gas like Mendes.

If we make playoffs, we'll make it to the SB

Statistically speaking the Bills have made it to every Superbowl evenly divisible by 25. Obviously, they're going! -
The NFL Has Formed a Committee to Fix the Catch Rule
MDH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This will actually be an unintended consequence of changing the rule. If it's easier to get a catch there will be more fumbles. WRs should be careful what they ask for. -

Totally justified. I mean, who wouldn't get upset about not getting free headphones?! -
The chemistry on deep balls to Sammy... A huge development
MDH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why do I care about every stat? If the team moves the ball down field and scores consistently without turning the ball over I dont care how they do it. If its mostly by the run and passing numbers suffer, so be it. The opposite is also true. The fact that the Bills are one of the best rushing teams and also one of the best yards per pass attempt shows me that when they do pass they are fairly successful. Sure Id love a juggernaught that ammasses tons of yards but it doesnt take that to make me happy with whete the O is. The thing I'd like to see improvement on is 3 and outs. Improve that and everything gets better: ToP, rushing yards per game and passing yards per game. -

Take as much opinion out of the equasion as possible. The moment a player has control of the ball and two feet down (or one elbow, knee, butt, etc) its a catch. Forget this "football move" element that is currently in place. Also, any time the ball hits the ground before a ref claims the player has completed a catch it is incomplete. It doesnt matter if the ball moves or doesnt move. Hits the ground before a ref states its a completion and its incomplete. Do this and the only thing the refs have to decide is if control of the ball was exhibited and no other element of the rule calls for a subjective opinion. There is no getting rid of some subjectivity, all they can do is eleminate as much as possible. I'd identify control as at least one hand firmly possessing the ball. Any balls pinned to helmets, legs, etc. would have to be brought into the chest or into two hands before the ball is knocked away/lost to be considered a catch. If the ball touches the ground before this happens it is incomplete. There is never going to be a perfect system, just streamline it as much as possible and leave it at that. -

Wild Card Race and Intel on Teams in the Hunt

Yep, Steelers losing is the most important thing this week. Our fates are in Andy Dalton's hands... -
Wild Card Race and Intel on Teams in the Hunt
MDH replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bengals are the better team overall. Better D, better talent top to bottom. The Steelers have a better offense but the gap between the two team's offenses isn't as great as between the Ds. The great equalizer, as always, are injuries. Bengals D has a few key players out this week. Also, if bad Dalton shows up it will cost them the game. -
Any team that has any possibility of beating the Bills for the WC I want to see lose. The Texans fit that bill. The perfect week should include Titans and Chargers wins over the Jets and Chiefs.
-
I'd say this is true IF the Steelers lose to Cincy this week. If not, winning out might not even be enough for the Bills.
-
Yeah, I had this same thought today. He's played well but I don't trust him to come through in a big spot.
