Uhh, errr, ummm....huh?

Not sure why people like to rip Fitz. He's a mediocre QB playing in a league where the overall QBing is pretty poor. That alone gives him value, flaws and all.

NFL Execs say Bills should get moving on new stadium
MDH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do this execs really think the people of western New York have the money to fill the stadium if the tickets are priced substantially higher? -
It makes the kicking game much more important. Anything that does that makes the game worse.

Yeah, I just finished it last night. While the first 6 or 7 episodes were good I thought they weren't up to par with what the series did last season. The second half of the season, however, was really good. It might have been better than season 1 (though it could just be it's newness.) They managed a slew of characters successfully and kept it interesting with some deft twists. They breadcrumbed it nicely all the way to the finale. I'd say my only real complaint about the season is they didn't develop Elektra as fully as they needed to given her importance to the storyline.

No progress toward TT extension per Carucci; agent unhappy
MDH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The agent is just doing what he thinks is in his client's best interest. Not sure why it irks people. The problem is he has no leg to stand on. He may want a big FA type deal like the one Osweiller got but the problem is that your client isn't a FA. If TT plays the way his agent suggest he will then TT's going to get paid very well. He's a FA after next year and he'll either get a huge deal or be tagged. The only advantage of signing him now is if he can be had for a significant discount. If not, then let him prove his worth on the field this season and go out and earn that big contract. -
And new Champion of the World Connor McGregor!!!
MDH replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in Off the Wall Archives
And he still wont be defending his belt. I guess they figure if he never defends it they can just keep selling all his fights as "featherweight champion." He is the definition of a paper champion at this point. I've never seen a fighter win a belt and not defend it with their very next fight. Now Connor is going to fight twice without defending. There are three legit title contenders log jammed waiting for the champ to actually defend his title. -
http://www.vulture.com/2016/03/ian-mcshane-doesnt-care-about-spoiling-got.html Ian McShane gives some minor spoilers for the upcoming season and when some fans complain he says, get a life it's only "breasts and dragons."

Chris Hogan visiting Patriots-Signs $12M offer sheet
MDH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It didn't happen a couple of times in just one season. It's been a consistent problem for the past few years. Hogan is a guy the Bills can easily replace, this wouldn't even be a concern if it wasn't for the Pats being the team that signed him. Had it been anybody else people would have said, "ehh, let them have him." -
I wouldn't purchase one until I at least tried it first. I have a friend who used one at a work function 6 months ago (with a roller coaster demo) and got nauseous (and no, he doesn't get sick on real roller coasters.) He said lots of people at the function did. It's one of the issues that has delayed the tech from coming to market. The eye and the body can't gibe that they're seeing/feeling different things and it makes people ill. I wouldn't sink $800 into it unless I knew it didn't make me sick first.

If some is "a good football guy" you assume they agree with your perspective? Fitz is, sadly, better than anybody available. Id take him, this season, over oswellier in a heartbeat. What his agent is pricing his services at is the issue.

Thats what happens when you hire a coach who runs a two gap scheme when your forte is your DL who dominate in a one gap scheme. As much as I love Kyle and as dominant as he is crashing through a gap and disrupting the play, hes not a two gap player. You think this is frusterating? Wait until we jettison all these guys, finally have the players to run this scheme but fire Rex and hire a guy who runs a 4-3 two gap scheme and have to do it all over again. This treadmill is what has kept us in playoff purgatory for 16 year.

If I was Denver Id seriosuly consider Fitz. Hes an average QB but with that D and considering who else is out there, hes good enough to make another run at the title.

Orton sat on the sideline for 4 weeks before he got the nod. You're confusing his total games started with how many weeks Orton was on the roster with him. We also have no clue what Marrone was screaming about, so that's not an accurate statement either.

Odds are that scene is better than anything in the actual movie.

And new Champion of the World Connor McGregor!!!
MDH replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in Off the Wall Archives
So how can you claim that Conor would wipe the floor with everybody at 145 and 155 when you don't even know who the other fighters in those divisions are? The fact that you didn't know what weight class Nate fights in tells me a lot about how closely you follow the sport. -

It's just as hard? No, it's not. It's not ideal to switch opponents, but Connor had a full training camp which easily gave him the upper hand in preparation. -

ate doesn't have one punch power. He beats guys with punches in bunches. That Conor was rocked by a single punch raises some questions. I almost think he didn't want to be knocked out so he just gave himself up to the ground game of Diaz. Pretty funny how quickly he tapped too. You see Holly Holm fight for dear life to get out, which Connor taps so quickly it's like it's a training session. I knew Nate was going to dive for a leg. Give that round 20 seconds longer and I wouldn't be surprised if Conor taps to a kneebar. -

Nobody cut weight for this fight, why do you persist with this line? They came in at their walk around weight, Nate is not "much bigger" than Connor. -

Nate isn't a 170 fighter, he's 155. This was a 155 fight without a weight cut, don't fool yourself into thinking it was a legit 170. -

Guess moving up to 155 is out the window now. This was a 155 fight without the weight cut. He's going to be forced to defend 145 at UFC 200 now. I hope the UFC gives the fight to Edgar and not Aldo. -

The funny part is he was getting lit up on his feet, panicked and took the fight to the one place he didn't want it to be. -

Karlos Williams Listed as a Breakout Player for 2016
MDH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's an outlier. In the history of the league there have been a handful of guys who have run upright and had any kind longevity in their careers. Eddie George is another example, but those guys aren't the norm. -
Willie McGinest: Bills' D Will Come Together in 2016
MDH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's a complicated D that takes time to learn. Another year in the system will definitely pay dividends. They - hopefully - own't be so confused pre-snap and will be able to play faster without having to think so much. Granted, I don't know how much they'll improve, but I think they'll definitely improve unless injuries ravage them.
