  1. Thank God I didn't have a Seattle 1 Pats 8 block, or I would've lost my mind.
  2. Now that the 2014 season is over, let's update the post-season comparison between Tom Brady and Peyton Gump (Big Game Chump): Rings: Brady 4, Manning 1 Playoff Record as Starting QB: Brady 21-8 (72 %), Manning 11-13 (45 %) Playoff One-and-Done's as Starting QB: Brady 2, Manning 9 Playoff Comebacks::Brady 6, Manning 1 Playoff Game-Winning Drives: Brady 9, Manning 1 GO BLUE!
  3. Peters Lynch Byrd if 100% healthy Levitre of a few years ago Fitz to be a backup and that's it, I have no use for any of the others.
  4. "Knocking On Heaven's Door", Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid
  5. Too bad he quit on the Bills at the end of the 2003 season. He can go into the HOF as a Bear though.
  6. I don't know about changes, but if indeed Brandon wanted the Shanahans, it doesn't appear that Pegs listened too hard to him... and that's a good thing.
  7. Congrats to Peyton Gump AKA Big Game Chump AKA Mr. One-and-Done AKA Greatest Regular Season QB of All-Time Playoff Record as Starting QB: 11-13 45.8% Playoff One-and-Done's as Starting QB: 9 (breaking his own record of 8) Playoff Comebacks: 1 Playoff Game-Winning Drives: 1
  8. Gotta go back to Chuck Knox to find the last HC hire I've liked this much. Love his attitude and his leadership skills, great move by Pegs.
  9. Some decent names, but Polian & Haley would be my only 2 locks if I was a voter, hope they both make it.

  11. 0-20 for the 70's would give anyone around back then an attitude.
  12. Absolutely.#%#% Shula.
  13. Exactly. Next......
  14. ============================== Nah, the quote function is all messed up. It's not Mojo, it's Doc Mangla, that's been his M.O. since the Mike Wilk days.

  16. Nice post. It's definitely a mess, I feel bad for the Pegulas. The one good thing is that it should be crystal clear to them who's responsible for the mess. They know who hired the coach, who signed off on the $4M opt-out, and who couldn't manage the Marrone-Whaley relationship. The buck stops at Russ.
  17. Agreed. He needs to have a great off-season this year though to truly lock down the job.
  18. The Pegulas have no other choice than to play the hand they've just been dealt. There's no one on-board truly qualified to make the bottom-line decision. Up until a few days ago, a football 'czar' was coming in to evaluate the organization. It appears that's not happening now, at least not soon enough. Whaley has done some very good things, but he's also made serious mistakes... he deserves to stay this year, but he's not ready to be given the keys to the car. Brandon is a proven chump who's responsible for hiring the last coach & not being able to manage the Marrone-Whaley relationship, this mess is clearly in his lap. With no one there that he can 100% trust, I don't blame Pegs for being highly involved in the hiring process at all.
  19. Russ was/is one of Ralph's stooges, along with Littman. I'm sure JL has given him advice re: Polian.
  20. No, that would be too much right now, just all of Ralph's stooges.
  21. Highly unlikely that Polian would want anything to do with a chump like Brandon. That's the 'power jockie".
