  1. Yep, Mikey from Billszone. I looked forward to his final observations summed up every day the most, could be pretty insightful. I'm just not that interested in training camp play-by-play, JMO.
  2. Mostly (not always) butt-hurt Whaley fans who think he got screwed.
  3. True, but Whaley was a proven nitwit. Trust the process.
  4. Very unique in that they never put out anything even close to a bad or mediocre album. I drove & saw them play the Richfield Coliseum in 1983 (2 days after U2 on the War tour playing Shea's), they had by far the greatest sound of any concert I've ever been to, everything was so crystal clear. Huey Lewis opened right before he broke out, he ended by saying, "Remember, you just heard the News!" I yelled back, "Get the !@#$ off the stage!" Then it was Roxy time, you could hear them jamming behind a big black curtain. "The Main Thing" starts, the curtain drops revealing the band, and Ferry strolls out from stage right in white tux with cig in hand, too great! Tremendous show, though I did not get my fav, Sentimental Fool, but they played so many other favs, it didn't matter. I was most impressed by MacKay's Editions Of You solo front-center, he just owned the stage.
  5. I blame Freddie Gray.
  6. #1 could’ve been Ralph with all the many threats he made to move the team to Seattle etc. Thank God he never carried through with it.
  7. I live in North Baltimore County, and sad to say I tend to stay away from the city if I can help it. Canton/Fells Point is about the only places I will hit.
  8. Fearing for your life in Detroit City can be a different kind of exciting.
  9. "Damn straight, Lil Biscuit!"
  10. Probably not, but I support anything and everything that turns Miami into a clown show.
  11. Bills never should have let him get on the plane.
  12. If so, then no better team for this to happen to, !@#$ Miami.
  13. No, buck stops at the GM. He is yet another Whaley gem.
  14. Not a one, not even Fred.
  15. In this slow time of the off-season before training camp starts, an EJ thread is always appreciated here to pick things up. Thanks, OP!
  16. Obligatory Jimbo & Bruce vs. Macho Man post.
  17. Josh Allen turning into the 2nd coming of Sad Sack Fergy would be unacceptable.
  18. If you consider preventing the Bills from making the playoffs & allowing the drought to continue, the worst Bills player ever would be Brain Dead Drew Bledsoe.
  19. Either my first or most recent game. My first was in 1969 against the Bungles. Blizzard was just as bad as last year’s Colts game, really hard to see anything at the Rockpile, but the Bills did win, thank you Harry Jacobs! I was also at that abomination last year against the Chargers, what a downer but it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day, absolutely perfect weather.
  20. Phil (Okie) Dokes is in the conversation. 12th overall pick in 1977, didn’t like playing football, only around for 2 very sucky seasons, then walked out of camp in 79 because he didn’t like Chuck Knox.
  21. Worst part of the old general admission shows was when you got in front of the stage and couldn’t risk losing your spot... sitting through crap bands like Journey to get to the Stones.
  22. I didn’t really care when he first started taking a knee, but now I’m very happy that he’s out of the league.
  23. I hear you, I know it’s just me more than anything. Quality of the material also also plays a part for me, I don’t want to hear stuff like Hell In A Bucket or Throwing Stones.
  24. I haven’t played their studio albums in years, and most of them were 1-and-done for me. I exclusively listen to 60’s and 70’s shows. I’m not saying early 80’s and some of the later shows aren’t good, but what’s the point when you’ve got tons of vintage material.
