  1. The Bills under Brandon were a clown show... now it looks like New Era is a clown show too.
  2. Just got back from My Bloody Valentine at the Fillmore in Philly, my ears are bleeding, it was so freakin' loud. They were giving out earplugs at the door, I just laughed but I should've grabbed some, oh well. Very intense show, they only played about half of Loveless though & I wanted more.
  3. I was 8 when MLK was shot, I didn't know who it was & was pissed ABC pre-empted Bewitched. I remember JFK's assassination too. Channel 7 put a picture of him up right after it happened at 7 PM and played really sad creepy music behind it for a half-hour, gave me nightmares. Regular TV: Rocketship 7 of course, and the Our Gang/Little Rascals (only they were called the Mischief Makers)
  4. He IS the Predator, love it!
  5. He's a lot like Reilly: 1) Scrappy 2) High motor 3) Gamer 4) Sneaky athletic 5) Gritty 6) Winner 7) High football IQ 8 ) Good fundamentals 9) Plays the game the right way 10) Lunch pail guy 11) Cerebral 12) Deceptive speed 13) Gym rat 14) Intangibles 15) Gets the most out of his abilities 16) Has a lot of heart 17) Grinder 18) Out-hustles 19) Someone you’d love your daughter to date http://awfulannouncing.com/2014/your-white-guy-code-word-power-rankings.html
  6. Ex-Jet scrub. More the kind of guy you pick up in a pinch during the season after your other WR's go down.
  7. I haven't the slightest idea, maybe banned? He could be pretty funny. Badol nailed it again:
  8. Thanks, nice thread.
  9. No, Ray Ray and Choo Choo are cool. Ha Ha sounds like some kid from North Korea (not that there's anything wrong with that). Me, I have no use for high-motor, lunch-pail WR's unless Tom Brady is my QB.
  10. 15 years ago, I was a Choo Choo Coleman fan too. Never cared for Kwame Cavil.
  11. He was a decent punt returner at Clemson. More than anything, I like his name.
  12. Yet another Whaley gem.
  13. Not surprised to hear that about any Penn State trash like Sean Lee.
  14. I'd like to see him and my guy Ray Ray step up and make the team. I also like what I'm hearing about Dupre.
  15. Yep, Mikey from Billszone. I looked forward to his final observations summed up every day the most, could be pretty insightful. I'm just not that interested in training camp play-by-play, JMO.
  16. Mostly (not always) butt-hurt Whaley fans who think he got screwed.
  17. True, but Whaley was a proven nitwit. Trust the process.
  18. Very unique in that they never put out anything even close to a bad or mediocre album. I drove & saw them play the Richfield Coliseum in 1983 (2 days after U2 on the War tour playing Shea's), they had by far the greatest sound of any concert I've ever been to, everything was so crystal clear. Huey Lewis opened right before he broke out, he ended by saying, "Remember, you just heard the News!" I yelled back, "Get the !@#$ off the stage!" Then it was Roxy time, you could hear them jamming behind a big black curtain. "The Main Thing" starts, the curtain drops revealing the band, and Ferry strolls out from stage right in white tux with cig in hand, too great! Tremendous show, though I did not get my fav, Sentimental Fool, but they played so many other favs, it didn't matter. I was most impressed by MacKay's Editions Of You solo front-center, he just owned the stage.
  19. I blame Freddie Gray.
  20. #1 could’ve been Ralph with all the many threats he made to move the team to Seattle etc. Thank God he never carried through with it.
  21. I live in North Baltimore County, and sad to say I tend to stay away from the city if I can help it. Canton/Fells Point is about the only places I will hit.
  22. Fearing for your life in Detroit City can be a different kind of exciting.
  23. "Damn straight, Lil Biscuit!"
  24. Probably not, but I support anything and everything that turns Miami into a clown show.
