  1. Too many levels for the casual listener to take in. A lyric sheet would help for some too.
  2. I will concede that the studio Beatles > the studio Stones... but the Beatles never made an album as great as Exile on Main Street. Close, but no cigar.
  3. I think Macca used it on his last album, so I would have to agree. Studio, yes. Live, Stones in their prime blew them off the stage.
  4. Little more now that I think of it....Back then (and still now), John was by far my fav. Yesterday and Today came out in the US after Rubber Soul & it was just great back then (still is). It was jam-packed with Lennon songs, including I'm Only Sleeping, And Your Bird Can Sing, and Doctor Robert. When Revolver followed in the US, the only John songs on it were She Said She Said and Tomorrow Never Knows ... I doubt they had a Beatles cartoon for those 2. I thought Y&T was a much better LP. Then SFF/Penny Lane was really great, but I wasn't a fan of Sgt. Pepper's, outside of the 1st 3 songs. By Magical Mystery Tour, I was a little older I guess & more in tune to the change in style.
  5. I bought it with my allowance money. I didn't like them at all, wtf. My 6-year-old ears loved Yellow Submarine and the Macca pop though. Liked them by the time I was 9 or so.
  6. Side 2 of Yellow Submarine doesn't count for me lol... though I can listen to the instrumentals on the US Help! if I had to cause I love the movie. It's not on the vote list, but I really love the Hey Jude album.
  7. Oops, that should be I wouldn't change a thing, not would. I would never think of skipping the one's I don't care for, not even Mr. Moonlight.
  8. My fav Neil has changed over the years, but for the past 8 years or so, mine has also been On The Beach, especially the title track.
  9. On a hot summer day like today, I would play Skynyrd before I would play Neil. Cold snowy day, Neil.
  10. Disagree. Not all the songs are great. For instance, I think Maxwell’s Silver Hammer is just OK, dropping AR a notch for me below the White Album. Others would say the same for Revolution #9 and Yellow Submarine (not me though). Then again, I would change a thing about any of them.I’ve listened to White Album more than the others over the past 50 years it’s been out, so my choice is simple.
  11. I would take Neil thru American Stars & Bars or Rust Never Sleeps over Skynyrd thru Street Survivors. Skynyrd had a great run though, no dogs there at all.
  12. Love Skynyrd before the plane crash, but Neil is a God.
  13. Fav: White Album Best: Revolver (UK) They”re all great though. Maybe not side 2 of Yellow Submarine lol, but Hey Bulldog is easily s top 20 or so Beatles song for me.
  14. Thanks TG for all the great work, especially in exposing Ralph’s trash for what they were. Happy trails!
  15. Well, stats are for losers. And LT was a chump and a loser in by far the biggest game of his career. He would not have gotten my vote, definitely not first ballot.
  16. No, Jimbo was very, very tough. So was Phillip Rivers that day.
  17. After the Patriots-Chargers AFC Championship game, LT is not even close to being in the conversation.
  18. Yeah, they've got a year to get him ready. Year 2, he best be starting.
  19. Maybe, but at least he did it after the season was over, unlike Ruben Brown in 2003.
  20. I think Russ Brandon was fired for some truly heinous, scum-of-the-earth, subhuman actions. Could be that Vic fought hard for some reason with the editors to keep the truth from being released, and TG didn’t appreciate it.
