  1. Skydiver called it! Who will show up to eat crow?
  2. My guy is Logan Thomas. He has looked good in the passing game and he also gives you an emergency QB. He would allow us to go with just 2 of the QB's if a trade can be had.
  3. He definitely has speed. I was impressed with his separation, especially a couple times when the DB was playing really soft. He was still able to fly by. He's just very raw tracking the ball. I think he'd be a good practice squad candidate.
  4. It was so bad I was actually pretty entertained. Every 4 yard run was "a big gain".
  5. I agree. This team used the preseason to assess the 3 QBs. We will be a running team in the regular season. Teams knew we would be passing disproportionately more than normal because of the QB battle and it allowed them them to cheat the passing game. I am not worried nearly as much about this team when we get to the regular season because we will be much more balanced.
  6. Wow. I avoided the gameday thread but I can't believe anyone would pin that on Allen. I'm just impressed he's in one piece. Sheesh.
  7. He will be. 180 yds, 2 TDs, 68% completion.
  8. Garrett is a special player. He is going to dominate whoever he's up against. I still think they should have taken Chubb over Ward, but they'll be a very good unit.
  9. Mayfield is exceedingly better than Tyrod.
  10. I think one of Streeter/Holmes makes it but not both. If they are comfortable with Ray Ray Kerley could be odd man out. I think it'll end up: 1. KB 2. Zay 3. Coleman 4. Streeter 5. Ray Ray 6. Dupre/Reilly
  11. Our first half schedule is freaking brutal. If we can manage 2-2 in the first 4 we're well on our way.
  12. Thanks a ton for the visual. It really helped me get the bite of food I had in my mouth down.
  13. Long post but funny story below. Nowadays it's my house (3 kids), but back in my prime I'd frequent a bar called tiebreakers. It was the home of the Bills Backers of Greenville, NC. For a small town in Eastern NC we had a very good group of fans. And we were really obnoxious. We had had a great relationship with the bar owner and several of our members were "dating" bartenders there. We would frequently push the limits of what was acceptable in a public place with regards to language, nudity and alcohol consumption, but we dropped a lot of $ and got away with it, for a while. Well, that all changed on 11/23/08. We throttled the Chiefs that day. Post game an angry Chiefs fan at the bar didn't enjoy the way I was celebrating our victory. He threw his hat at me and told me to F off. I climbed on the bar and dropped my pants to my ankles. Then I stuck his hat bill in my crack and started to wave it side to side. The next thing I know I'm on the ground, bare assed and he's punching me in the head repeatedly. I gathered my wits and pants and got a few good shots back on him before it was broken up. That was the last time I watched a game at tiebreakers. Sometimes I miss it.
  14. The Bills MVP this year might be Jordan Plamer, who'd have thunk it. He seems like a great teacher. I'd imagine he will be a very busy man going into the 2019 draft.
  15. You know what's funny? CC got paid for that.
  16. Oh my goodness I love him even more if this is true.
  17. Thanks for confirming. This was my take based on the games I watched. He looked like he had to put the team on his back. The OL play in particular was really rough.
  18. I've been thinking long and hard about it and here is my Allen take after camp and the first 2 preseason games. When you go as as long as we have without a real QB, you know what "not the guy" looks like. To me Allen doesn't look like that. There's something different about him. He is humble but there is some kind of crazy vet like presence he exudes in the huddle and in the pocket. I know the sample is small but it's hard not to notice. The guy is a gamer and he is only going to get better. I wanted Rosen, but I'm on board the JA train. Start him McD, let's go.
  19. Agree. The random subjectiveness of officiating in the NFL will most likely be it's downfall. What is a catch? What is PI? What is unnecessary roughness? No one knows, it's insane to me that a multi-billion dollar enterprise can not tighten this up.
  20. Definition of trash ⬆️
  21. I hope Jalen Ramsey doesn't tear an ACL. ?
