If I cut back on groceries, power, heat, insurance, clothes, and convince the wife to take on an additional job or three, I might be able to swing that monthly payment.

My wife was always about busses/cabs since she doesn't drive. But when Uber/Lyft came to Syracuse, she became a convert after her first ride, because of the cost. It was costing her about half to take an Uber as it did before in a cab. Some cab companies here are trying to get in the game by offering their own app, or even jumping on Uber/Lyft, but they have had to let drivers go. Side note - I remember hearing on the news when Uber was here interviewing people before they started, of one guy that quit his job, bought a big SUV, just to be a full time Uber driver. I wonder how he's doing now. Oh, and she will always use the manned checkouts.

All the locations here in Syracuse suck. I've never had good service at any. But I still go, knowing how it will be.

I used to think Cincy, and still do if they were to keep the AFC/NFC conference teams. If the NFL wants to mix it up, then bring in Detroit since it's closer than Cincy.

And this is why if/when they re-align the divisions, they need to put Buffalo in with Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Easy drive for an away game. If you can't fill the stadiums with your own fans, visiting fans will do it.

Went and saw my local AHL team play tonight. Game ended up tied, so they went to sudden death OT. What I did not realize this meant, was instead of the usual 5+goalie players, they went to 3+goalie players. This got me thinking, what if the NFL did something similar? Keep the OT rules as they are, but instead of 11 players, go with 7. This I think would make it a little more exciting, thinking of the possible scenarios. You'd have center and QB obviously, maybe a couple guards/tackles. But then your other three players, you could go 2 RB,s 1 WR. Or 3 WR's. Or pull the guards/tackles and go all WR's. Etc.. Thoughts?

I use most of the fast food joints mobile apps just for this reason. It's great to drive past the line at McD's drive thru, pull into a parking spot, and they run my food out before some people even reach the pickup window.
