Watched The Bubble on Netflix tonight. It's a comedy about a group of actors forced to make a movie while living in a hotel during the pandemic. My wife summed it up pretty good with "It's not a great movie, but it's not a bad movie either. It's just two hours of my life I won't get back." So if you're just looking for something to watch, check it out.

Buffalo to LA to Sydney - I forgot how long of a flight it was overall though. Longest direct flight was 20 hours, JFK to Beijing. 6 hours on the tarmac while they fixed the plane twice, then had to restock food and drinks before the 14 hours in the air.

The wife and I go 1-3 times a year for a weekend, typically December to see the Christmas sights, and maybe one other time in the year to either see a concert or some of her friends. Even though we've been doing this since we met, almost 8 years ago, we still find things to check out that we have never done before each trip.

That's what the wife and I did last time we went, we did the train from Beacon. Typically, though we'll take Greyhound from Syracuse.

I was wondering about that, because I only planned on being there for a few hours, and the app would not take a USA address for your quarantine location. I looked up hotels in the area, found one that had rooms available for the required 14 days and entered their info, just in case they asked. Getting into Canada took almost an hour at the Thousand Islands bridge. When we pulled up, only three lanes open, by time we got through, they had 5 lanes open. Still it seemed like we were in the picky border guard line because all other lanes were moving quicker. Turns out a lot of the returning Canadians had not filled out or done the ArriveCAN app. We had, and literally spend less than 90 seconds at the booth. (no Covid testing is needed now, which is why we went)

I went yesterday, got a 12 of Puppers, and a mixture of single cans for summer vacation.
