  1. More importantly, Rex is the guy who has seen Shaq in practice. I believe the point of the OP is that Rex's enthusiasm for him playing means he must have looked amazing in practice.
  2. Not _just_ you, but mostly it's just you. Again for you youngsters - the red helmets were an ugly abomination implemented in a vain attempt to keep Joe Ferguson (my childhood football hero) from throwing so many picks. All the other 4 teams in the division also had white helmets, and they were hoping the red would help Fergie find his WRs. The team started with white helmets, and they are all but universally preferred by anyone with two functioning eyes. They brought them back for good reason.
  3. THIS and maybe getting the f-ing plays called and in to the QB in time, just as a starting point!? How can anyone want Roman around after that's been an issue since last season?
  4. Not running the ball puts a lot of pressure on the defense. They were hung out to dry two straight games in a short space of 5 days, and what do you know, they got really tired. The fact that the offensive sideline can't get plays called in time - an issue that was reported multiple times last season as well - is INEXCUSABLE. I'm happy with the Roman firing based on that alone.
  5. THIS - the title was deceptive - that gets called out here by mods all the time, should be here too.
  6. This. O'Leary and Gronk aren't going anywhere.
  7. He's already stated he doesn't even LIKE football. His opinion is there to troll comments for the BN.
  8. Yeah - what's up with the thread title? "too"?? Sully's always the first in line to whine about whatever he can come up with.
  9. Who was also cut.
  10. Randel Johnson (sp?) should be cut just to send a message about stupid penalties - he was an idiot I was frustrated to see Boom taking rep's away from literally any of the other RB's - he's got no chance of making this team - showed nothing NFL-level last season - looked like the same slow medium-sized guy with no moves again last night Wilder had a tough night, but that 3rd string OL was awful
  11. And yet they let the Bills sweep them - and looked pretty bad at the end of the season when their loss to the Bills cost them the playoffs.
  12. Thread title is bad - this needs to be renamed or pulled.
  13. Big Mike Williams. How does a mammoth #4 pick OT out of a big school fall so short?
  14. Bruce Smith was the best player, but my favorite was always Joe Ferguson - probably just because he was the QB of my youth.
  15. Damn it! - beat me to it by 4 minutes!!!
  16. Please add me to the list who doesn't get all the Gilmore-love from OBD. He has some very good plays but plenty of bad ones too and hasn't stayed healthy. I just don't see him as a truly elite corner they should be spending a fortune on. Honestly by the end of the season, wasn't Darby already better? It is good to have a guy with size who can cover, but I'm worried they are going to handcuff themselves with the cap treating him like he's top 10 at an expensive position. I'd rather see them spend that money on TT - he's not a 100% sure thing either, but he may turn out to be over this next year, and the importance of a real QB >>>>> CB
  17. Right now Corbin Bryant is a starter in their new conventional 3-4 along with Dareus and Kyle Williams. Hughes and Shaq Lawson are OLB. They needed quality depth at least, and desperately so. I'm sure Jarran Reed was an option for them over Ragland - hopefully Ragland's coverage issues aren't as bad as advertised.
  18. I see what you did there!
  19. "Clay was always going to get restructured......his contract was poison pilled so that Miami would not match......" THANK YOU - hard to believe how many people there are here who didn't know this. I mean, it WAS only ONE year ago...
  20. Agreed - and there were other opportunities for the team to get stupid but they let the Jets do all the stupid. The one unsportsmanlike on the Bills - Hogan's not coming back in bounds on a punt coverage? WTF? Who knew that was a rule?
  21. This thread is about Mario and the impact of his loss. I've got plenty of issues with Rex too.
  22. Well that would be pretty amazing since he's never done that before on two teams.
  23. Watched nearly all of OSU games the last two years (my daughter's a new Buckeye and big fan) Jones was decent last year under limited duty - he's been generally terrible this year. There's a reason he was passed over twice for a younger player. Doesn't have an NFL brain - not a reference to his IQ, for all I know he's a genius - it's about speed to process, and Jones makes a lot of mistakes if the opposition puts up much challenge.
  24. Yeah - giving up 3 straight long TD drives to a mediocre offense to start the game will do that to you
  25. Seriously - what in heck is the complaint with Whaley? Best player on the field for the Bills today - Hughes - the guy Whaley STOLE from the Colts then re-siged long term
